How can I download older NDK versions? - Android Software Development

Hi I need the NDK for Android version 4.6. I need to run it on Linux 64-bit environment. I looked online, and tried all the methods suggested like changing the url to the desired version or using a the waywayback site, but it did not work. I get a 404 error when I change the url manually, and waywayback gets an error from Google about web scraping not being allowed. Help please.

How can one scan and modify every IP packet that goes thru PPP (dial-up)?

Hello. I want to scan and modify every IP packet that goes thru PPP (dial-up) (or thru all interfaces if easier). I've done a lot of research and found that maybe the only way to achieve this on lousy wince is to patch the OS itself...I am an x86 programmer and I've done this relatively easily on winxp...
P.S. How can one debug wince os code in ROM with software debuggers?
P.P.S. So far I don't have any solution to my problem so it would be a success to do this even with one device (I have htc universal for tests...)
Today I've finally downloaded the platform builder and so called "Shared" code of wince 6.0...To my surprise I found ARM4 .lib files instead of source code for everything that I needed to look in (ip*.*) . However there is a binmod utility and other stuff for editing rom that you might need. I don't need to modify rom since i can neither debug ROM nor have it's source even from a different version of wince (I need for 5.0). M$ is sh*t as usual.
It is the har work to modify ppp packets on pocket pc (wince).
Yo can try the passthru sample in PB:
\PUBLIC\COMMON\OAK\DRIVERS\NETSAMP\PASSTHRU
and
\WINCE500\PUBLIC\COMMON\OAK\DRIVERS\NETSAMP\ASYNCMAC
i think you have to modify the drivers.
good luck !

Help coding a Flash7 wrapper for WM5/WM6

We need to update one of our old pocketpc programs to Windows Mobile. It's a pretty simple program, but I'm not a C#/VB programmer.
For a visitor center we give the visitors a PDA with a flash interface. The only thing the wrapper needs to do is:
Play a flash7 file Fullscreen (regardless of resolution on screen)
Disable all hardware keys (but send to flash) and flash right click if possible.
Receive quit & reset command from Flash
Flash Lite is not an option as we use flash communication server for all communication.
This was no problem for PPC2003, but the old program does not work in WM5/6. Since we have simplified our wrapper functionality I thought it would be simple to create a new flash wrapper. I can preinstall the flash7 plugin.
Option 1: I've managed to get a C# file running if I embed IE and let that open a html with a swf, but I still need to block all hardware keys and flash right click. I've tried several things, but nothing works. It also seems like using IE inbetween is a bad solution. Embedding the flash player directly by adding it as a reference like the VB example below.
Option 2: I VB if I add the flash.dll (extracted from cab file) as a reference and run the following code:
Code:
Dim FlashObj As New ShockwaveFlashObjects.ShockwaveFlash
FlashObj.Movie = "main.swf"
I don't get a error, but I also don't get a visible flash file...
Any ideas? I know several people need to play flash files on wm5/6 as Zinc and other commercial wrappers don't support it.
I would pay for a product like this

WLMMessengerPlugin.dll

Hi. So I just got a dump of my iPAQ 110, and I found this file. Earlier i stumbled onto this article:
http://www.ekhoury.com/2006/04/21/how-to-make-msn-messenger-add-ins/
Unfortunately this doesn't work for the latest messenger on the PC, but I was wondering if i can do something similar to make plugins for the mobile messenger. I tried to start a "Smart Device" project in VS2008 (I already have the wm6.0 sdk refresh installed), and then add this dll as a reference, but I get "A reference to "WLMMessengerplugin.dll" could not be added.", and when i click the help button it links me to an article saying this:
The project you are trying to load targets a device platform that your Visual Studio installation is not configured to support.
To correct this error
Install the platform that supports the project you want to load.
Anyone had any success with this?

Java application to run on my Streak

Hi,
Before Streak I was using a java application on my Nokia phone which gave information about the City I live (traffic, etc...)
Now I want to use the same application but I can't download it on to my Streak.
The site to download the application checks the browser UI string and does not allow downloading because Android is not supported.
How can I download this application and run ?
Thanks.
Hi,
I found the following site:
http://www.netmite.com/android/srv/2.0.2.5/getapk.php
Then tried to convert my jar file but the connection was too slow.
Can anyone please try to convert the attached file for me ?
Thanks.

State of Jabber/XMPP on WM5/WM6

I just went through 8 hours testing to find a usable jabber/xmpp application. My requirements are that it actually works and that it is capable of auto reconnect. The results are not pretty. I thought I should share them anyway.
pigeon!
latest version: unavailable - website broken
old version: error - network failure unknown (317)
note: most versions you can find online are the RU version
im+
latest version (WAP site): will install - registration will work if you have a valid key, is slow, crashes sometimes
latest version (website): will not install - is standard version so it won't work for pro
latest version (internet search): will not install - just says cannot be installed
old version (mine): error - cannot connect to registration server
beejive: could not activate - unable to get key
bombus (bombus-ng): download link broken
Ebuddy: download link broken
Palringo: requires login account to Palringo thus it is totally insecure and useless
As you can see, there are no Free software XMPP clients available for this God-forsaken OS. The best choice would be the latest IM+ downloaded through WAP if you already have a license or are willing to pay for one. I hope this helps someone so they don't have to go through this like I did.
Edit:
I just wanted to add that I was using an Att Touch Pro 2 (HTC Fortress) with Windows Mobile 6.5.
