You can root your phone, download an app called Titanium Backup from the playstore and remove the chinese apps. No need to flash another version of the firmware.

Check first if your "made in China" isn't a fake because I9500 MDK firmware is one year old (and buggy at this time)
-Install CPU-Z application to get the true
I may be wrong and hope it is the case

That's the text that comes up, it's the same on your phone but only in chinese language. Do what it says on the english one and you'll have the phone in downloading mode. Then you can do the next steps with ODIN.

Does this firmware have the extra large spacing in the multitask window/blurry Wi-FI icon as well? I think there has been a DPI porting issue with the French build.

I flashed the think it was Norwegian 4.4.2 rom & everything seemed fine for a couple of weeks then signal turned utter crap & emails & facebook would not load feeds & kept needing reset.
I think I will try this one but if it is the same i am going back to 4.3

Installation Steps
1. unroot your phone?

2. install this Recovery (PhilZ Touch 6 Recovery)

3. Download rom file and extract it. You will get a rom backup folder.
4. Copy that folder to sd card.

The first boot (HTC Screen) took a lot of time, but it worked.

OPEN_KR is what is recommended. You should follow cloud's instructions to localize. If you are in NA, I have an NA OP image ready to flash.
