How good is 4K compared to FHD (Video Snapshot). - Xperia Z2 General

Here is an example, of what does UHD (4K) means compared to FHD (1K).
The picture simply puts 4K to FHD side by side, and some resolution information, and the size of the extracted snapshots using VLC player.

And if you see the picture and say that the FHD looks brighter, its because of the angel that the phone was, the Z2 respectively.
The letter "s" is followed by "c" which makes the word screen, taken by the back of screen protector pack.

I was just cirious if the Z2 produces a real 4K shots, since 3rd party apps like google camera would not detect 4K, so i just tested it out by myself and figured it finally!

SGS2 camera rig testing, need help! :)

I'll try to shoot a short film with sgs2 in next few weeks. Managed to attach it to my dslr rig and sound will be recorded via zoom h4n & ntg2 shotgun mic. I did a quick test today with lgcamera because that is the only one that I found that had infinity/macro focus option, but no ISO settings. The stock camera is practically unusable because of the continuous focus. But lgcamera had a lot of problems and the videos know to end up with glitches and freezes sometimes. Is there a camera app or modified stock camera that has focus settings (auto/infinity/macro)? I'm on non-rooted sgs2, int version.
Here is the test video
and here is the rig

I'm not sure what i'm more jealous of - your Note, or that gorgeous Bavarian view out of your window. Thanks for the pics!
You got your exposure set too high.

Yeah, I think so, I just did not change any of the settings to get an idea how a fast snapshot would look like.

[Q] Resolution 1280x752 or 1280x800 on the 7.7?

Hello,
I seem to be reading conflicting specs. Some places I read 1280x752 and other places state 1280x800.
Anyone know what the native resolution is or can explain why the different specs?
Thank you!
reported by www.whatismyscreenresolution.com, my VZW LTE 7.7 is 1280x800.
Without honeybar or hidebar...the effective screen resolution is probably 752 due to the bar...but the entirety of the screen is 800
It was this screen capture of this Slashgear http://www.slashgear.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-7-7-lte-review-04216701/ that really got me wondering.

Any thoughts?
bdroc already explained that the usable resolution is lessened in landscape due to the bottom bar. One easy way to test is to take a screenshot, and look at the image's properties (you can even do this from the default gallery app). It is 1280x800.
Thank you!

Well change of exposure is much worse than in my Galaxy S II.
I mean smoothness of it - now you see it changes it step by step, not smoothly which is really ****ty :\

The 960 slow motion will not has decent image quality when there are no any bright or good light sources (I mean not directly focusing on the light sources). Lots of noises.

As to be expected due to the insanely fast shutter speed required to shot 960 fps.
