[Q] Resolution 1280x752 or 1280x800 on the 7.7? - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

Hello,
I seem to be reading conflicting specs. Some places I read 1280x752 and other places state 1280x800.
Anyone know what the native resolution is or can explain why the different specs?
Thank you!

reported by www.whatismyscreenresolution.com, my VZW LTE 7.7 is 1280x800.

Without honeybar or hidebar...the effective screen resolution is probably 752 due to the bar...but the entirety of the screen is 800

It was this screen capture of this Slashgear http://www.slashgear.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-7-7-lte-review-04216701/ that really got me wondering.

Any thoughts?

bdroc already explained that the usable resolution is lessened in landscape due to the bottom bar. One easy way to test is to take a screenshot, and look at the image's properties (you can even do this from the default gallery app). It is 1280x800.

Thank you!

I worked on it a bit, but the source image was low-res, and I'm afraid I haven't leant how to perform miracles yet.
The above has been blured, the below is sharpened use which ever one you like better
Improved - Color correction

I'm not sure what i'm more jealous of - your Note, or that gorgeous Bavarian view out of your window. Thanks for the pics!
You got your exposure set too high.

Yeah, I think so, I just did not change any of the settings to get an idea how a fast snapshot would look like.

How to test Color

How do I test for the color on my Nexus 7 to make sure its up to par and not yellowish or anything? I mean as far as I can tell its not but I want to make sure so I can replace and get the best tablet I possibly can.
I would just say if it looks good to you and pictures and movies look similar to how they do on you computer its fine. The problem worth looking for is screen lift.
Take a picture of a magazine with a good camera. Send it to your n7 and see the difference.
Please report feedback.
Put this message up on both your computer monitor and the Nexus, and compare:

Nexus 10 vs P900 screen macro comparison

There's been a lot of debate about the pentile screen of the Note Pro, some people can see the blurry/jaggedy outline of text, while others can't... so I present to you a macro comparison of screens.
I've used the playstore as the source; tripod was stationary, I just moved the tablets and focused.

My opinion: The P900 is clearly missing parts of the text/image... it's like a strainer/sieve and can't even draw circles properly. It's considerably brighter though... both were on 100% brightness with Auto disabled... BTW: with Auto brightness on and in sunlight you can get the P900 even brighter.
The N10 has more natural colours, but they look a little flat; P900 was in dynamic mode.

How do you feel about this app?
I think the image is a bit vague and doesn't look perfect. It is an excellent way to have fun and see yourself in such a dimension. However, the face is faded and looks worse. I never liked such apps because they make all faces look the same as if it was one person. I like art for revealing who we are through the canvas. When I draw a portrait, I try to choose the colors and moves which would reveal someone's specific features. If you need an artist's advice, you can find it here https://www.photolamus.com/
