[HOW-TO] Change theme colours without actually changing the theme itself. - Xperia SP General

I wanted to change the theme colours specifically without changing the amazing ass theme that i had applied on my Xperia device but I could not find a solution
Thus I ventured on to the internet to find a solution and I succeeded in my endeavour(After 2 whole days.TWO).Since I'm a super cool guy,I shall share the solution that I found with you so none of my fellow noobs have to work hard to find this solution.
1)Root your phone.
2)Install Xposed Framework. (Here's the link for the official site to download Xposed Installer which will install Xposed framework." http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer " *install the stable version which is 2.6.1 as of now*)
3)After that is done, install this : ( You can change a **** load of Xperia theme colour properties with it. " http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/sony-xperia-theme-xposed-module-t2803440 " ) and enable the module.
4)Restart the phone.
5)Use the app to change the colours to your liking. *Sometimes the system ui needs to be restarted for changes to take effect.*
6)If you don't know what system ui is then forget about it and just restart the phone for the changes to take effect because restarting the phone will restart the system ui aswell.*obviously*
I have made the instructions very noob friendly and hopefully you shall have no trouble setting your desired colour.
Good Luck !
P.S:
All the credit for the above mentioned apps/modules/installers goes to the respected devs.

This is bull**** honeycomb theme ain't for mdpi devices.
Thank you for your kind words sir.
Why exactly this is a crappy theme? Who said that is not woring in our devices? Have you try it at all? Have you seen the pictures provided, or you just read the first Haxamatic's post where is mentioned that it is for HDPI devices and that's all? Did you try to navigate to the 180 + pages that the thread has? Have you notices that i apploded the file from RomRepo, which is suitable for MDPI devices?
Of cource you cannot like the them, but certainly you cannot express your self like that. At the end, the theme is working, if you do not know how to apply a theme read entirly the instructions. About the drop down notification bar which is transparent i cannot do anything about that. In case you don't like it simply change to another theme.
Ps: I have found a modification of the them with circle battery in the statur bar, i will upload it when i'm home along with a screenshot.
Regards.
Man this theme Makes status bar crappy
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk
First, big thanks for taking the time to post every relevant link. im sure that took a lot of time.
the problem with the theme is it has a lot of small visual issues that for me prevents it from being my default theme. (i have tried both haxzamatic's and the ported one)
some issues i have noticed:
- notification panel looks bad
- the percentage battery icon bar is lowered
- the progress bar knob is mis aligned (notice the 4th screenshot of OP's post)
- some icons/graphics (ie wifi/signal) are a bit blurry/misaligned)
some of the issues can be reduced by playing around with the lcd density settings for the device. as mentioned here by lekhwani
My suggestion would be to fix these issues. some documentation were provided by haxzmatic. i quote him below.
I also have a theme template on github with all AOSP graphics so you can start with stock graphics. I put a ton of work in behind the scenes so we can see some awesome themes for this system. http://bit.ly/fZUZ8t
Here is a Wiki I started if you want to build themes - http://goo.gl/i39kk

If someone would work to port this on our device to work correcty, now that would be awesome and worthy of a thousand thanks
Please try this one, and tell me if this is ok with you.
http://www.4shared.com/file/QjmcZq2e/Honeycomb.html
The progress bar knob is ALIGNED
The notification panel is visible now
Unfortunatelly it does not change the icons of Music, Clock-settings& internet into the new icons. They remain as Gingerbread.
The wifi/signal icons are not misaligned/this is just how the theme is.
About the percentage battery i'm working on it. Wait until afteroon.
great work!
- battery percentage looks fine in my device. (yhey!)
- i miss some graphics from haxmatic's (just my preference, for example, notice the blue background on lockscreen settings)
- would be great to also have the icons
- would be great to also have the theme apply to widgets(like the music widget)
this isnt based on haxmatic's work?
overall i'd say it works great on our device. Definitely better than most themes. kudos!
For a complete experience you have to use ADW Launcher or Launcher Ex and the dedicated theme for it (this will change the other icons).
what is with the link to the mdpi honeycomb theme?
http://www.4shared.com/file/QjmcZq2e/Honeycomb.html for the pictures above.
ive been using this theme on mik's CM7 Gingerbread ROM with no issues and is an all time favorite
haxzamatic's honeybreaad CM7 Alpha 4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943423
You might want to try LCD density for Root @ market and set value's to 120 to fully enjoy this mod/theme.
Zxhian , 120 is too small for our devices, but if you say that it work, then it will.
One other theme very very good, is from our friend zdUNEX25 from the GT540 forum..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967369
The newest version 3.8 is realy good with a lot of animations and it works like a charm without dencity changer..
Regards
well it looks cool i really want the lock screen but it doesnt work i am running milks CM7 6.4.2 when i try to apply the theme in metamorph it just sits there saying its applying framework-res apk theme pack but never finishesor installes and the theme is self from the apk file is cool but i cant stand the status bar pull down is clear i cant read anything but other than that its cool if you could let me know what i did wrong or how to get that lock screen ????
Delete AndroidThemes folder from the sdcard and the zip. After that redownload the zip and reopen it in Metamorph.
Also do not have the phone pluged with the usb.reboot and try again,it happens sometimes.

1 st post updated with the new honeycomb theme with cirecle battery and working status bar.Optional is fonts for a complete Hoenycomb expierience!
Absolutely LOVE this theme. The only issue I have is the charging images don't show. Looked in the file and they are missing the frameworks_res_ prefix. Not sure if that's why it doesn't show or not. But other than that it's AWESOME!

ADVANCED POWER MENUXposed Mod
Advanced Power Menu is an Xposed Mod which adds advanced reboot options (reboot, soft reboot and reboot to recovery) and screenshot option to your power menu. It works on both AOSP and Xperia devices. For rebooting into recovery, a special implementation for Xperia devices is used, but it will also work on AOSP devices.
Features
[NEW] Anti-theft helper - Stop anyone from turning off your phone /enabling airplane mode when the device is locked. In this way no one can stop Android Device Manager from locating your phone by turning off the phone or disabling mobile data (removable battery not taken into account)
A dedicate first-level option for rebooting
Fully working reboot to recovery(no reboot wrapper required)*, bootloader and soft reboot
Screenshot function
Quick dial - call a predefined number directly from the power menu
Toggle mobile data from your power menu
High quality mdpi-xxhdpi icons
GUI for different configurations
Multi-language support
Thanks to Xposed framework,
Easy Installation. No flashing required.
Works both for odexed and deodexed ROMs
Quite future proof (should work for Android 4.3 if there is no big framework change from Sony)#
Should work for a lot of devices
* - For rebooting into recovery, a special implementation for Xperia devices is used, but it will also work on AOSP devices.
# - Unfortunately, there IS framework change from Sony, mainly caused by the new theming engine. Therefore the regular Xposed Installer doesn't work on Xperia 4.3 ROMs. You can download the special version here (released by rovo89, mirrored because I've forgotten the original link):http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2454695&d=1387049158

You can add items into the power menu like this:
Or remove items like this:

Anti-theft helper: this is what a bad guy will see if he tries to turn off your phone while the device is locked:
Settings - great level of customization:
Prerequisites
All Xperia Phones with rooted stock 4.0+ ROM / Nexus devices / AOSP#/ a number of other devices(see confirmed working devices below) (Please do test and tell me)
Xposed framework installed
#AOSP: not including CM, PAC, etc. This may mess things up and there's no point in doing so
Warning: This will definitely NOT work for Samsung TouchWiz stock ROMs or anything based on them!
The effect of this on TouchWiz ROMs will be that your phone will reboot immediately whenever you press the power button
(Google Play Edition will be ok, I think)
Note: for Android 4.4 you need the latest version of Xposed Installer (2.4 Beta 1 or later)
A user has reported that sound options disappear when using this mod on HTC One. I currently have no idea why this happens, and I'm too busy to figure it out at this moment. Sorry.
Installation
You will need xposed framework and for this mod to work! See prerequisites above.
After you meet the prerequisites,
Download and install the apk in the next post
Go to Xposed Installer > Modules and enable "Advanced Power Menu"
Reboot and you are done! (Sometimes you might need to reboot more than once for all functions to work)

NOTICE
My app, as well as some other xposed modules, was placed on Google Play without my consent.
This Google Play entry (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ncedrebootmenu) was made without my knowledge and agreement, and I am by no means affiliated with the said developer on that entry.
Authentic releases, whether current or future, is only available on Xposed Modules Repository unless I make another notice.
Download
From now on, Advanced Power Menu is hosted on Xposed Module Repository. You may go to there to download, or directly download from Xposed Installer App.
Old versions on xda:
v3.0
v2.1r
v2.1b
v2.0r
v2.0b
v1.1r
v1.1b
v1.0 apk
Which version should I download?
Release(r): Disabled most of the logs. Use this if you have no problems with the app
Beta(b): With full verbose logging. Use this if you encounter problems. Logs can be found at /data/xposed/debug.log
What can you do if the app doesn't work / if issue happens?
Step 1: Try fixing it yourself
1. Make sure that you have read the prerequisites and installation guide thoroughly/
2. Reboot your phone TWICE (TWO TIMES)
For every single xposed mod, a reboot after installation is necessary. But that might not be enough as users have reported that the app doesn't work after a single reboot, but things get right when they reboot again. So rebooting TWICE is recommended
3. Disable all other Xposed Mod
Xposed framework do take care of mods that hook the same method, but sometimes conflicts can still happen. Try disabling all mods except mine in the Xposed Installer. Then reboot and see if things get right.
4. Clear app data/reinstalling my app
The settings may get messed up when my app updates, so try reinstalling and see if it helps.
5. Use an older version of my app
Try this and see if it helps. If so that means a new update breaks something old and please tell me about that!
If all the above doesn't work, you can then send me an issue report.
Step 2: Tell me and see if I can fix it
(Please don't do this before doing step 1)
Please send me an issue report including
1) a description of the issue
2) screenshots (if it helps explain the situation)
3) The device, ROM, Android OS version, and the app version
4) debug.log (Please enable verbose logging in my app first, then do something like long-pressing the power button)(you may obtain the log in xposed installer 2.4)
5) Anything else you think it's important
through one of the following means:
1) xda forum thread/PM (preferred)
2) e-mail (NOTE: please begin your subject with [APM] so I can better sort my emails. Thanks)
Please note that I can't solve the problem with insufficient information. I will also IGNORE any email with NO BODY TEXT (I use gmail)
Keep in mind that even with all the information I still may not be able to fix your problem because I do not own your device and I'm only a novice android developer. Sorry.
FAQ
Q: The mod doesn't work!
A: Other xposed mods might interfere with this mod. Disable them, reboot and try again.
Q: Rebooting into recovery doesn't work!
A: Flashing the DoomLorD's reboot wrapper MAY help. However, as the wrapper is intended to be optional, there might be something wrong. So it'd be nice if you could send me some logs
Q: There's something wrong with the mod...
A: Just disable the mod in Xposed Installer and reboot. Then everything should be fine again (Should this happens please tell me and send me the debug.log and debug.log.old files. This helps me to fix the issue)]
Q: I have a bootloop! What should I do now?
You can follow the following methods (quoted from xposed framework main thread) to disable the xposed framework
In case you get into a boot loop:
You can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-CWM.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).
You could also create a file /data/xposed/disabled, which causes Xposed to be bypassed as well.

Click to collapse
Usage Warning
DO NOT press Vol-Down + Power while a screenshot taken by Advanced Power Menu is being saved! This will result in constant force-stop of System UI and you will need to reboot the phone to solve this!
Usage Tip
You can long-press the reboot option on the power menu if you wanna do a normal reboot. Then you can skip the reboot mode dialogue.

I would just suggest that you remove the logging code to prevent clutter on the debug.log file, since it appears to be working fine.
To me the following message: There was a problem parsing the package.
Damn, I want this application. :crying:

ADVANCED REBOOT MENUXposed Mod
targeted towards the Sony Xperia Z
Many of us are waiting for a perfect reboot menu. We don't want one that hides your original power off option with the reboot options in a sub-menu. We don't want one that are specifically for deodexed ROMs. We don't want one that works only partially (very often reboot to recovery doesn't work for Xperia Z, as there is no dedicate reboot partition). We don't want one that doesn't work with a firmware update. We just want a simple reboot menu to get things easier...
Now, wait NO MORE as I proudly present you my work of ADVANCED REBOOT MENU Xposed Mod.
Features
A dedicate first-level option for rebooting
Fully working reboot to recovery and soft reboot
High quality xxhdpi icons
Thanks to Xposed framework,
Easy Installation. No flashing required. (except reboot wrapper)
Works both for odexed and deodexed ROMs
Quite future proof (should work for Android 4.3 if there is no big framework change from Sony)
Should work for a number of similar devices (not tested)

Prerequisites
A rooted Sony Xperia Z with stock odexed or deodexed ROM / All Xperia Phones with rooted stock ROM(Please do test and tell me)
DooMLoRD's Reboot Wrapper "for xperia devices" installed(for rebooting into recovery)
Xposed framework installed
Installation
You will need xposed framework and reboot wrapper(only for rebooting into recovery) for this mod to work! See prerequisites above.
After you meet the prerequisites,
Download and install the apk below
Go to Xposed Installer and enable "Advanced Reboot Menu"
Reboot and you are done!
If you use the reboot to recovery or soft reboot function for the first time you may need to grant superuser permission.

Soft Reboot: see below
Recovery: Did you flashed DooMLoRD's reboot wrapper? Rebooting into recovery doesn't work without that.
You can test whether you've installed the reboot wrapper by entering the following commands in the terminal emulator:
Code:
$ su
# reboot recovery
If this boots straight into recovery, you've reboot wrapper installed.

Problems regarding soft reboot:
When I first tested my application the soft reboot is somehow ~15 seconds shorter than normal reboot. But when I test now the soft reboot is ~10 seconds longer than the normal reboot. This shows that the two reboot modes are actually the same and the differences are just some periodic fluctuations. Soft reboot doesn't work. Sorry for that.
However, I have still not found any mod/app that can implement a 'soft reboot' that is drastically shorter than normal reboot. I think due to the unique framework structure, it may not be possible to implement a meaningful 'soft reboot' on Xperia Z. If you can find any mod/app that can do this, do tell me about that. Thanks.
Anyway I'll remove the soft reboot option in the next version.

Same thing here - XposedInstaller's soft reboot is much faster than the regular reboot.
How about trying the same technique in the next update to see how it goes for users? https://github.com/rovo89/XposedInstaller/blob/master/assets/soft_reboot.sh

[sense toolbox] install on marshmallow [M8_UL]

Hello everybody, This guide is only for Marshmallow stock rom users. (don't know the condition for verizon & sprint. maybe cause to a brick for them.) It is little bit difficult to install xposed framework to work sense toolbox for some users. This is for them.
Instructions
1) Download the files mentioned at the bottom.
2) Root device through TWRP. (SuperSU-v2.76)
3) Install "xposed-installer-arm.zip"
4) Reboot system. (Don't think device got bricked. It will take few minutes.)
5) install both applications. (enjoy different benefits)
Thanks & credits
@ TeamWin for TWRP
@ Chainfire for SuperSU
@ rovo89 & Tungstwenty for xposed installer
@ Langer Hans & mikanoshi for sense toolbox
when tick controls mods, toolbox doesn't work.(volume2wake, quick flashlight) But when untick them & soft reboot device, it will work like before. (always it is not suitable to make several changes at once. in one turn try changing one.)
tool box helped me to fix some problems personally.
1) to control gestures.
2) disable quick settings drawer on secure lock screen.
3) vibrate on connect.

Precise Animation Scales A520F[N] (mod.apk)

Iam not a developer of this mod.
The download link is from the developers thread.
Its tested only on A520F Nougat
I you want to press thanks you shoud do it here:
-----------------------------------------------------------
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/themes/mods-small-collection-tweaks-t3657118
What does the mod do?
Explanation is from developers thread:
------------------------------------------------
"Once installed, it modifies your window animation scales in Developer Settings. It only supports English and a few others. Still working on it. If you get a dev menu FC, just delete the apk, set your animation scales to off, and reinstall it. It won't have all the options but it'll still work (IE: 0x, 0.1x, 0.2x, etc..) even though the corresponding text is wrong."
Instructions:
Just download the apk and install it normaly then restart the phone.
Go to developer settings and you should see more animation scales.
