This is bull**** honeycomb theme ain't for mdpi devices.

Thank you for your kind words sir.
Why exactly this is a crappy theme? Who said that is not woring in our devices? Have you try it at all? Have you seen the pictures provided, or you just read the first Haxamatic's post where is mentioned that it is for HDPI devices and that's all? Did you try to navigate to the 180 + pages that the thread has? Have you notices that i apploded the file from RomRepo, which is suitable for MDPI devices?
Of cource you cannot like the them, but certainly you cannot express your self like that. At the end, the theme is working, if you do not know how to apply a theme read entirly the instructions. About the drop down notification bar which is transparent i cannot do anything about that. In case you don't like it simply change to another theme.
Ps: I have found a modification of the them with circle battery in the statur bar, i will upload it when i'm home along with a screenshot.
Regards.

Man this theme Makes status bar crappy
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk

First, big thanks for taking the time to post every relevant link. im sure that took a lot of time.
the problem with the theme is it has a lot of small visual issues that for me prevents it from being my default theme. (i have tried both haxzamatic's and the ported one)
some issues i have noticed:
- notification panel looks bad
- the percentage battery icon bar is lowered
- the progress bar knob is mis aligned (notice the 4th screenshot of OP's post)
- some icons/graphics (ie wifi/signal) are a bit blurry/misaligned)
some of the issues can be reduced by playing around with the lcd density settings for the device. as mentioned here by lekhwani
My suggestion would be to fix these issues. some documentation were provided by haxzmatic. i quote him below.
I also have a theme template on github with all AOSP graphics so you can start with stock graphics. I put a ton of work in behind the scenes so we can see some awesome themes for this system. http://bit.ly/fZUZ8t
Here is a Wiki I started if you want to build themes - http://goo.gl/i39kk

If someone would work to port this on our device to work correcty, now that would be awesome and worthy of a thousand thanks

Please try this one, and tell me if this is ok with you.
http://www.4shared.com/file/QjmcZq2e/Honeycomb.html
The progress bar knob is ALIGNED
The notification panel is visible now
Unfortunatelly it does not change the icons of Music, Clock-settings& internet into the new icons. They remain as Gingerbread.
The wifi/signal icons are not misaligned/this is just how the theme is.
About the percentage battery i'm working on it. Wait until afteroon.

great work!
- battery percentage looks fine in my device. (yhey!)
- i miss some graphics from haxmatic's (just my preference, for example, notice the blue background on lockscreen settings)
- would be great to also have the icons
- would be great to also have the theme apply to widgets(like the music widget)
this isnt based on haxmatic's work?
overall i'd say it works great on our device. Definitely better than most themes. kudos!

For a complete experience you have to use ADW Launcher or Launcher Ex and the dedicated theme for it (this will change the other icons).

what is with the link to the mdpi honeycomb theme?

http://www.4shared.com/file/QjmcZq2e/Honeycomb.html for the pictures above.

ive been using this theme on mik's CM7 Gingerbread ROM with no issues and is an all time favorite
haxzamatic's honeybreaad CM7 Alpha 4

You might want to try LCD density for Root @ market and set value's to 120 to fully enjoy this mod/theme.

Zxhian , 120 is too small for our devices, but if you say that it work, then it will.
One other theme very very good, is from our friend zdUNEX25 from the GT540 forum..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967369
The newest version 3.8 is realy good with a lot of animations and it works like a charm without dencity changer..
Regards

well it looks cool i really want the lock screen but it doesnt work i am running milks CM7 6.4.2 when i try to apply the theme in metamorph it just sits there saying its applying framework-res apk theme pack but never finishesor installes and the theme is self from the apk file is cool but i cant stand the status bar pull down is clear i cant read anything but other than that its cool if you could let me know what i did wrong or how to get that lock screen ????

Delete AndroidThemes folder from the sdcard and the zip. After that redownload the zip and reopen it in Metamorph.

Also do not have the phone pluged with the usb.reboot and try again,it happens sometimes.
Regards

Thank you. this is great... i have just one problem... i installed it and i don't have battery percentage... just battery bar... what could i do? i am using Mik's last build.

cyanogen mod settings-interface-status bar tweeks-battery percentage..

1 st post updated with the new honeycomb theme with cirecle battery and working status bar.Optional is fonts for a complete Hoenycomb expierience!

Absolutely LOVE this theme. The only issue I have is the charging images don't show. Looked in the file and they are missing the frameworks_res_ prefix. Not sure if that's why it doesn't show or not. But other than that it's AWESOME!

I downloaded v2 (is it really only 8MB in size?) but when I flash it I get a "Failure at line 3" error.
Tried AmonRa and ClockwordMod
exit:
n8_OD_4.0.0_original_Theme_v2.zip gives error in line 1
I'm pretty sure something went wrong when you downloaded it, just downloaded it myself and flashed it, no errors.
So just redownload it (maybe with a download manager) and try again
And yes: this theme is only 7.76 MB, that's right

I will try it again. But I downloaded it from Multiupload, Rapidshare and Megaupload.
What is the md5 sum of the file?
I just redownloaded it again and compared it to my local "original" file, they are both the same:

That's the one I get too. But I still get that error.
I will try it with a fresh OD install and report back later.
I would love this theme for Pinky 1,8 classic rom, as I can't live without HTC phone, HTC People etc., which I haven't found a solution to get with OpenDesire. Is it posible to install it on other roms?
No, this would pretty sure result in a boot loop.
You will have to find some Pinky user who can port and test this theme...

After a full wipe and fresh install of OD 4.0 I was able to install this theme. I have used the Detox theme before. Maybe there got something installed which prevented this theme to get installed (or I have done something wrong when I tried to revert back to the original theme before flashing this one)
Nice team!!
Question:
Can you update you theme, so it looks more like:

Question 2:
How can i apply the icons?

The icons are for LauncherPro or Better Cut (I think).

Thanks again for this theme
Either import the color file (1st post) or adjust the settings by hand in OD-Menu

[metamorph] droid x theme for cm 6.1 (UPDATED 07.11.2010)

Hi, all. Here is my metamorph theme for CyanogenMod 6.1. It is fully compatible with latest nightlies(tested from 149 to 163), CM 6.1.0 RC 1 and DeFrost (from 5.9 to 6.0). It also should be compatible with every other ROM based on CM 6, and should work on Nexus, Droid 1 and other HDPI phones.
Warning!
1.S-OFF IS NEEDED!!!!
2. MAKE NANDROID BEFORE APPLYING THE THEME!!!!!
3. I am not responsable for any damage of you phone (hardware or software). All you will do is on your own RISK!!!
4. Please, read all thread before do something.
Instractions:
1. Install Metamorph from Market.
2. Download Zip with theme from attachment.
3. Unzip the theme to your SD in AndroidTheme folder.
4. Launch Metamorph and on first start allow SU permitions for it.
(Don't disable checks in settings of MMorph, it could cause the theme not to be aoolied).
5. Choose in MM "Pick Up existing theme" and browse to the folder "DroidX_0.2"
6. Choose DroidX02.xml file.
7. That 's it. Now you can apply theme to apps. It is recomened to apply theme to every other app separatly.
P.S. RECOMENDATIONS
1. Apply framework-res theme at first If the phone doesn't reboot automaticaly, reboot it manualy.
2. Apply Phone.apk theme at second. There will be a lot of FC. Don't panic. Pull out the battery and reboot.

KNOWN ISSUES:
1. Some colours (especially progress bars in Music Player, in Market, in volume adjustment) are still orange, not RED. <----Solved
2. LatinIME has DroudX skin, but letters stay white too. So, it is for you to decide apply the theme to it or Not.
If anyone know how to fix this issues, please contact me im PM or write in tthread.
Changelog:
v. 0.2 - initial release
v. 0.3 - add Galaxy S like Dialer (if someone doesn't like GalaS dialer, there's "Contacts_v.1" folder in the packege with contacts from ver. 0.2. Just delete Contacts folder and rename Contacts_v.1 in Contacts, add GenieWidget new icon, solved issue withh progress bars, wich now are RED, like in original Droid X.
Applying now. (It looks good on the screens)
Edit: How long does it normally take to apply the framework-res.apk? Mine has been applying for 10 minutes!
It depends on the settings in Metamorth. You can make applying time shorter, but it could cause soft reboots happen a bit often.

A great ROM.. An excellent MOD as most said...the end of a journey... THE BIRTH OF MIRACLE V4
After 3 versions of MIRACLE, my quest has finally come to an end! It was a great experience modding this great rom by vo-1. I tried to tweak this rom and make it as good as it can be. I really think that it can't get any better than this. MIRACLE V4 was done with lots of love and long hours of reading and testing. I tried to examine all aspects of its functionality with my poor knowledge but very carefully. Personally, I am satisfied with the outcome but that's just an objective matter. There will not be a feature version of this rom as I need to start enjoying my phone after almost a year I got it. I also need to spent more time with my two daughters, I really need some sleep and... you know what? I think MIRACLE V4 is good enough and will be used for quite some time by many. Thanks all for you kind words and support, it's been a blast all this. Maybe I'll start a new project but not after a very long time. Start using V4, I stronlgy suggest you upgrade to this version. Enjoy your ACE!
=================================================
NOTICE 1: MIRACLE V4 works excellent the way it is. It has not been tested with other kernels, mods and tweaks. So I am not held responsible if you do such actions and mess things up. It already includes a lot of tweaks, so adding more will probably not have the desired results. Of course, messing with some tweaks values will not do any harm as long as you know what are you doing. PureMotive's Battery Mod has not been included as most of his tweak already exist in Adrenaline Engine. Also bare in mind that after applying ICSLayouts you can’t use any zipthemer or metamorph patches, otherwise you will end up with problems. But if you really want to, just flash the undo zip to get rid of the layouts and then use such patches.
=================================================
NOTICE 2: I wanted to make MIRACLE V4 just the way it is... a barebone rom. The rom is what it is. Do not ask questions why I didn't include this or that. If I wanted, I would have done that. I give you the freedom to do whatever you want with this rom. I have included though all original deodexed apps of this version in one zip which you can find at the end of this thread and by following tutorial in 2nd post you can easily replace them. Eventually I can't satisfy each and everyone in here. After all, this is my mod! I would also like to ask you to not spam this thread with questions that need to be asked in other forums of ACE.
=================================================

Project MIRACLE
Current version: V3 (FINAL) 22.04.12
CyanogenMod 7.2 RC1 by vo-1 (26.03.12)
Modded by itasoulas
Download MIRACLE V3 via Mediafire
A few words
vo-1's rom, in my opinion, is the best CM7 we got so far. I decided to mod this rom to make it faster, smoother…better. I always liked the idea of a barebone rom cause user has the priviledge to add whatever he/she wants without having to delete unwanted system apps. After MIRACLE V1 and V2, and after long hours of reading various threads on XDA and other forums about tweaks, I experimented a lot with certain values and end up with what works best for Galaxy ACE. So now comes MIRACLE V3… the most balanced, fast, stable and lag-free CyanongenMod7. Thanks for developers here on XDA that gave me the permissions to use their scripts, tools and visual components to make MIRACLE V3 an awesome rom. Thanks also for members that supported my effort and provided me with hints and answers. I present to you MIRACLE V3 (FINAL)!
Full Specs of MIRACLE V3
-- Fully deodexed
-- 100% barebone
-- Very lightweight - Only 77,2MB
-- 137MB free internal storage and 86MB in system
-- Plenty of free ram available
-- Adrenaline Engine v3.0 included (1)
-- Additional tweaks in build.prop
-- Journaling disabled (2)
-- GPS/Sensors Patch included (3)
-- Frameworkmod (volume only) included (4)
-- Fixed double setup when phone first starts (5)
-- ICS Theme by Achep set as default theme
-- LauncherPro set as default launcher
-- Roboto font set as default system font
-- Colored icons in Phone Options Menu (6)
-- Blue lockscreen buttons (7)
-- Status Bar supports transparency
-- New lightweight bootanimation (same as V2)
-- Google Play Store 3.5.16 included (original and bug fixed, check Bugs)
-- added vpnservices cause this is really important to some
-- extras at the end of this post (good stuff there + ics layouts)
More Info
(1) I edited the build.prop tweaks in S98system_tweak file. Deleted some tweaks and changed some values
(2) Journaling of ext4 partitions is disabled via an init.d script. The difference between skynet28 patch and my script is that the first disables journaling once and permanently while mine disables journaling at each boot. I’ve contacted him via pm and told me that the script would work just fine and same way as his patch.
(3) I edited GPS/Sensors Patch and updated sources from XXKPT stock rom. All hw libraries from vo-1’s rom were deleted and replaced with libraries from XXKPT
(4) I replaced framework.jar with the one from LPFinch’s frameworkmod that was created for 19.03.12 vo-1’s rom. So now you have 30 volume steps for music/radio
(5) Deleted provision.apk so you don’t have to setup your phone twice after first boot. That was an issue oocuring on original vo-1’s rom
(6) I edited framework-res.apk and replaced "Phone Options" Menu Icons with colored ones taken from Mixer Theme by MrDSL
(7) I edited framework-res.apk and replaced lockscreen button with blue ones taken from SteelBlue Theme by edint3000 (Team Carbon)
System apps that have been removed (37 in total)
ADWLauncher – Androidian – Calculator – Camera - CMStats – CMUpdateNotify – CMWallpapers – Cyanbread – Developrment – DSPManager – Email – FileManager - Gallery3D – GenieWidget – GoogleBackupTransport – GoogleFeedback – GooglePartnerSetup – GoogleQuickSearchBox – HTMLViewer – LatinImeTutorial – LiveWallpapers – LiveWallpapersPicker - MagicSmokeWallpapers – MediaUploader – Mms - Pacman – Protips – Provision – QuickSearcBox – RomManager – Stk – Talk – Torch – VisualizationWallpapers – VoiceDialer - YouTube
Installation procedure
1. Βοοt into CWM5 Recovery
2. wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik
3. format cache/data/system/sd-ext
4. flash MIRACLE V3.zip
5. reboot
6. almost done!
7. Finalize GPS configuration by following TURORIAL 1 - 2nd post.
8. Now it's done...enjoy!
Check 2nd post for tips/faqs and troubleshouting
Bugs (fixed)
Google Play Store - Method1: Once phone boots for first time, do your google account sign in, and open Google Play Store for the first time. Accept Conditions and then close it. Use link2sd or similar app to clear Google Play Store's data and uninstall it. Reboot phone. Then via root explorer place it manually on system\app and change permissions (do this as described in TUTORIAL 5 - 2nd post. Advanced users already know how to do this). Reboot phone. We do all this cause otherwise Google Play didn't update some apps before like Superuser. Now works perfect! Vending.apk is also attached at the end of this post
Google Play Store - Method2: Once phone boots for first time, do your google account sign in, and open Google Play Store for the first time. Accept Conditions and then close it. Use link2sd or similar app to clear Google Play Store's data and uninstall it. You can also do this, from Settings, Applications. Reboot phone. This works for some users also so either method1 or method2 would do the jod. I suggest first try method2 cause it's easier and then if it doesn't work do method1

Extras
-- For those who want some or all default apps that were removed from system, here are the links for all default system apps. Links includes all original deodexed apps that existed in system\app
Download via Mediafire
Small correction: This link trully contains original system apps. That means original systemui.apk that has no transparency. The default systemui from MIRACLE V3 that supports transparency is attached at the end of this post if someone ever need it.
-- For those who want Status Bar with transparency supported, centered clock and centered date here is the link. I personally edited the status_bar.xml and works great. No overlapping of date over clock, no overlapping when receiving any kind of notifications but if too many icons on status bar then they will overlap clock.
Download via Mediafire
-- ICS Layouts for MIRACLE V3 (for original systemui, clock on right)
Download via Mediafire
-- ICS Layouts for MIRACLE V3 (for modified systemui, clock on center)
Download via Mediafire
-- Some icons packs that I already have and thought it would be nice to share so you can change your dock bars icons or some apps icons
Download via Mediafire
-- Some of the wallpapers I already have in my collection and sharing with you

=================================================
Welcome to APOCALYPSE
After the success of MIRACLE V4, now comes... APOCALYPSE! Based on latest CyanogenMod 7.2 RC3 by vo-1, APOCALYPSE was modded in order to satisfy the majority of users concerning both looks and performance. It wasn't an easy task as the level since MIRACLE V4 was already set high. APOCALYPSE exceeds that level! And for that, a lot of people contributed, some with their desire to help by making things and some with their own mods in other threads from which I took the opportunity to adapt their work in this rom. So please read the thanks section at the end of this post to find out who those people are. To end this, I suggest you read carefully what I write cause I do this in order to help you and save you time for asking questions. Welcome to APOCALYPSE!
=================================================
CAUTION: All things written here were made to help you install the rom and extras the right way and also point at bugs or other things. So please read so as to avoid asking questions that already have answers. Keep thread clean!

2. Wallpaper Wizardriii is a cool app that lets you crop walls portrait or landscape way. Tweak it's setting for optimal performace
3. You can also install QuickPic and use it as your default image viewer and use Wallpaper Wizardriii for croping portrait walls
4. To mount USB after applying layouts, you need to press image on screen... there's no button
5. ICS Theme version is 032-build-408
6. ICS Layouts version is 012
7. acpather v5.31 was used to patch apps and framework

9. A tutorial of how to create an ext4 mount script with link2sd is attached in this post
10. New (10.06.12) S98system_tweak for AE. For those already installed it, replace in system/etc/init.d and select full permissions. Thanks to mxxmxxm for pointing that out!
=================================================
Tested and working great
-- WIFI, GPS, Bluetooth, Torch, Proximity, Compass, BLN, 3G/2G Data
-- Battery life seems very good!
=================================================
Bugs and issues
-- If too many notices on status bar then will overlap centered clock
-- Even though Sansation font was created for multi-language support and complex writting, you may experience some weird characters FIXED
-- Sometimes when pressing search in Play Store or address bar on browser, app dissapears and only keyboard shows. If you start typing app will appear again
-- Low screen backlight when booting phone but brightness gets back to normal level after a few secs. It's a FireKernel issue and maybe this was done to save battery
-- On 16.06.12 update torch is working but not in status bar as a power widget.

Benchmarks
Extras Section
1. iPhone Portrait Walls
2. more walls at my thread
3. Xperia S Theme for MDPI (both original and transparent - I tested that and looks very good)
4. XPERIA S Widgets (don't try the On-Off Tools cause some fuctions don't work. Weather widget is awesome.)
5. PDroid PATCH + RESTORE for APOCALYPSE by gbueno6
6. Show me your support. If you like this rom, just copy paste the following code in your signature

7. XPERIA S Wallpapers
8. Cosmic Flow Live Wallpaper
9. CM7.2-RC3-APOCALYPSE-BAREBONE-12.06.12 mms, camera, real player and email are gone but beats+alsa+audiofx, torch and livewallpaperspicker are still on.
10. ICSApocalypse-Original Theme Still 90% transparent windows with blue frame/white glow but no transparency in all other aspects. You have to push it manually to system app and change permissions to rw-r--r--
11. Sansation-Regular Edited by itasoulas. This is the DroidSans.ttf font. To be used for those download rom prior to 12.06.12. Rename the file to DroidSans and replace the one in system\fonts, change permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot. That should fix weird characters issue for most languages
12. To crop portrait walls search Google Play Store for "Crop Wallpaper" app. Does not run in background. Best ever
13. APOCALYPSE-19.06.12 + ICS Layouts ==> My personal mod of this rom ALL IN ONE .rar file

there is no need to flash Apocalypse Layouts-undo, coz when you flash Apocalypse Layouts-patch and reboot status bar will be in its place.
Should I still flash Apocalypse Layouts-undo?
Why such a convoluted and not an exact guide?

Wow dude congrats! Btw in this rom, the latest fire kernel is included right? Do you see some flickering when choosing reboot in the power button? Im experiencing it on miracle v4, but im already downloading this now.

Ok...Achep for some reason suggest in his thread that the patch-undo-patch procedure must be done in order for layouts to be installed correctly. I don't know why but he's the one created the patcher. That seems to be true cause if you try to integrate the patched apps and framework-res into rom prior flashing you will always end up with a bootloop. Strange but that's the way it is.
Also the installation procedure is in 4 steps and must be done in that order. For example, after testing I found out (for some weird reason) that if you first do the layouts installation and then the AE installation, status bar is completely gone. Maybe it's the launcher that causes that problem.
Anyway, hope I answered correctly

Dear Buzz Fellows....
I have made a little changes in Notification Bar....that looks like Sense. It's not a theme, It's a CM7 application.
Just use the Root Explorer Copy the App to System and Change the Permissions to rw-r-r & Reboot the system.
Changes that i have made these are followings.
Notification Bar --- change the Signal Bars & Volume Icon to Sense.
---- change the CM Notification Power Widgets Icon to Sense.
And currently working in Framework ... hope, soon i will upload a framework that looks like Sense.
If you like my Work ...... Say Thanks.
