[Q] Some exploitations about this problem. - A3000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all, this is my first post here, I am kinda newbie in android developing and some kind of stuff, my problem is that when I download some games on my lenovo A3000-H, it runs kinda slow although my tablet is kinda having some good processor for those stuff.
Well, I tried to download Asphalt 7 with OBB data, It worked but slow too much although it runs on dual cores devices, I mean it should work without any lags, so any exploitation? Also Modern Combat 4 lags abit in the middle (not always), help me in this case please, My device is rooted by Frameroot.
Also I have flashed the call software system, Is that might be lagging those games?

Gun Bros Not Too Smooth

I was just wondering if anyone has played this on the NC
I originally started playing on my Samsung fascinate and it was super smooth
It runs and everything on the NC, but it seems a little choppy at times and just not that smooth overall.
So is this a hardware limitation? Or is something about my configuration off?
I'm running the latest CM video test build currently, but I was on build 31 and 32 as well with the same issue.
On the OC kernel, at 1100, interactive
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
I played on Nookie froyo 0.6.8, get not smooth in menus, store..... but smooth enough in playing.
I know what you are talking about and its a hardware limit.
Ok, I figured. yea it's really not that bad when during the game, but it's definitely not as smooth as it was on the phone.
Thanks for the feedback
i have the same problem. but it's playable...
The nook was not produced as a 3D Game plateforme, the GPU is like 5 year old comparing to Samsung Galaxy S.
But if i compare some 3D games (or n64oid), they run smoother than on my HTC Desire wich has a really poor GPU..
Gun bros is laggy period(why would a simple menu be laggy?), ghurilla bob is a way better game and runs extreemly smooth even when theres a ton of people on screen thats supporting HD , this comes to show u the nook.can handle good graphics,
One thing to keep in mind when comparing to a phone - Our nook is running the game at 1024x600, compared to most phones running at 800x480. The difference may not seem like much, but it might suprise ya; Our screen is 614400 pixels, compared to 384000. This 1.6x pixel increase is a big load on our GPU's (the same as in the Droid X and Droid 2)...
For me gun bros never ran faster than 20 fps in game and like 7 fps in the menus.
I made it through about 10 waves then gave up. The combination of all on screen controls plus lag was to much to take.
Side note: what version of gun bros are you guys running and where did you get it? Since it is 'not compatible with our device'(due to in-app billing i would guess) it is not in the market. The one I am running claims to be ver. 1.5 and I was very surprised that Gun Bros had xga files ready to go, since the xoom would be the only released device that could use it, unless they have the android version downloading files from the same place as the ios version.

Don't know about anyone else, but I got mine via the Amazon App Store.
runs good for me
i'm running cm7 with latest tab tweaks at 1100 oc'd and gun bros runs like a champ for me. yeah the menus are a little laggy, but they did that on my droid x too. the game itself runs full-bore with no lag at all.
btw, that game is SO much more fun on the bigger screen, and i thought it was the best before!
my version allows in-app purchases and that part seems to work just fine. it installed and downloaded without a hitch from the market. i reinstalled using the latest version about three days ago and used mybackup pro to restore game data that i copied over from my x when i swapped to a t-bolt.
one note, you have to be rooted to restore your game data because the game stores the info in /system.

What's the full path?
And how did you find that out?
I wonder, do all games do this?
bad news: still jittery choppy

I was playing Gun Bros (1) multiplayer edition, latest version as of this wriiting. I have a quad core 1.5ghz cpu and and a likely single core GPU PowerVR. Some zombie shooter games ann Guerilla Bob work fine. After wave 8 or so in gunbros, it stutters every 6 to 10 seconds and one or more touch controls stop working so I have take my fingers off the screen and try again. My bro dies quickly! :crying: I will try Gun bros 2 and see what happens. Cheers mate.

PLease Help

Hello i was going to buy the Asus padfone 2 when i saw it on the internet but after i saw the tablet resolution and the HTC One i decided to buy HTC One with a Nexus 7 but my question is the nexus 7 laggy for me i play a lot of games like Dead trigger N.O.V.A 3 and Shadowgun and Fifa 13
so i will install like 80+ games is it laggy for this kind of user???
Well there's no lag in games like Shadow gun and ravensword. It can pretty much handle every android game I throw at it and also emulates ps1 and N64 very well.
---------- Post added at 03:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:38 AM ----------
I should also note that N.O.V. A 3 runs spectacularly. I'm running smooth rom and Franco kernel which helps a lot too.
what i mean is not if it laggs in the game or not i mean after installing all this games will it lagg when am using chrome or any other thing
I would say that the Nexus 7 is not a perfect gaming device, and it is definitely not "lag-free" when you are stock. When I was stock I also figured that chrome was a bit laggy, so I recommend dolphin browser.
If you have any browser opened, it should not affect the gaming too much, but it is optimal to have none apps opened. Android have a really good multitasking system, so it should be no problem actually.
Well the n7 isn't going to have any more than 32gb. So it would be pretty impossible to install 80+ games on it, and as with any device, it will slow down substantially once your hard drive is almost full. I wouldn't suggest buying it if you need all of those games installed at once.

Modern Combat 4 Performance?

How is the performance in this game for you guys? Can feel framerate drops throughout the first level so it's not running smoothly on my i9505.
This game is awful at optimization.
First mission lags the same on my galaxy mini 2 and my tegra 3 tablet
Yeah, it seems to run the same as it did on the Galaxy S3.
Gameloft suck. :silly:
No lag at all.The game runs smooth at 60 fps.
the game runned smooth on my galaxy s2
Really good on my i9505 !
Either you guys are allot less fussy when it comes to framerate or we are playing different games.
On my phone it lags when wifi is off, so the game is pretty much useless to me, is there any fix for that?
You have the same problem as me... But i dont know how to fix. When i know i will play it, i just start the game at main menu and turn off wifi. It works fine then. Dunno whats the actual problem

[Q] Slow 3D Performance - Stock KitKat and no root

So, I've been struggling with this issue from day one ... Before I decided to buy me a friggin Note 3 I watched several reviews and youtube vids to see, among other things, how well this beast could run recent 3D games and all the people were stating that all the games they tested (dead trigger 2, dead Trigger, Dungeon hunter 4, Riptide ....) were running super smooth at 60fps ... now maybe my vision is somehow defect but when I run games such as dead trigger 2 I get very choppy framerates... like not anywhere near 60fps for most of the time ...
I thought upgrading to KikKat would do the trick - but nope, no difference ... I thinks its even worse now... also after going back to factory defaults several times did not do any good either .... So Im asking:
- Am i the only one who seems to have trouble running games in 60fps?
- if there are others who have experienced this, was there any difference when you switched to root?
- is there any fix for non-root users to get some performance boost...
Normally I would say that gaming performance on a phone is not a big deal - but since everyone seems to get super performance except me I am somewhat curious what the problem is here ... also the Note 3 isnt the cheapest smartphone on the market, so it better perform as fast as possible

ZTE Blade S7 - Lags on games, WI-FI disconnections and other...

Hi folks,
I'm a quite satisfied owner of this phone, but for some things I'm very unsatisfied and even disappointed.
First: lags on games. Games like "Ladybug Adventures World" and "Modern Combat 5" are completely unplayable because of lags. I don't love the war at all, so the true delusion is for "Ladybug Adventures World" a sort of Super Mario clone that I mean it's not so hard to be played good on a smartphone like Blade S7, but this phone fails completely because the game runs practically in slowmotion. Also Sonic Dash suffered some lags.
Second: very low score on mathematics in Antutu Benchmark. The half of a Samsung quad core S4 .
Third: random WI-FI disconnections. Fortunately not so often and just for few seconds.
Fourth: it warms up like a cooker when I stress it.
Any suggestions?
I ask my retailer for a change?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or hints.
Ah, the phone is new and not much used, with few applications installed.
