[SOLVED]Play Store Can't Download Any Paid Apps - Error BM-CCH-19 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Alright so this issue has been plaguing me for the past few days and so far I have not found any solution. Every time I try to buy a new paid app from the play store it gives me the following error "We were unable to verify your account information. Please visit wallet.google.com/manage in order to resolve this issue. [BM-CCH-19]". Also I can download any other free app or previously purchased paid apps with no problem. I went to the link in the error and signed in but it wants me to fill in my SSN and other such details but I simply don't want to do that unless there's no other way to resolve the issue as I'm underage. Here's everything that I've tried so far that's been unsuccessful :
Deleting the hosts file
Clearing the Play Store Cache and Data
Clearing Google Services Framework Cache and Data
Downgrading / Upgrading Google Play Store version
Installing a modded version of the Google Play Store
Removing and Readding my account
Factory Reseting
Flashing a Fresh stock version of my firmware
I honestly don't know what else I should do here other than trying to contact the wallet team itself. If anyone could assist me with this endeavor I would greatly appreciate it. SIDE NOTE - I do have root access in case that's needed.

So is anyone able to assist me or am I just going to have to submit my sensitive info to google?

Look at this or try other Google Search responses

You have done most but maybe the password settings may help or wallet
I wouldn't give that info out either

I tried some of the solutions but in the end it was a no go. I ended up contacting google play earlier and they said they disabled the account for "verification" issues and that they would need to verify that I was the actual account holder and what not. The guy spoke on the phone with said he'd send my issue over the the risk team and have someone who's underage email me about the issue but they still haven't gotten in touch with me. The only email I got was from the guy who I was speaking with and it was basically the exact same thing in the OP. I might try contacting them again tomorrow if I don't hear anything else back because honestly this is getting ridiculous. I even verified that the account was mine over the phone by telling them the email associated with the account along with some recently downloaded apps but apparently that's not enough information to re verify my account. Hopefully this dang issue can be resolved soon since I believe I've done everything I can do on my own.

OK Good Luck--:fingers-crossed:

Alright so I ended up contacting them again today and they ended up reopening my account without any issues so problem solved .

Glad you got it sorted--

can't set up my samsung account

I don't know why, but I can't add my samsung account to my tab. I know I'm inputing the right things but it says invalid everytime >.<
Im dealing with the same problem, however if i go to the website itself everythingvworks fine.... Its just on the tablet settings that i cant log in.
I think many people are having the same issue. When I try to log in, it fails to reach the server. But when I do, I don't have valid account.
So I tried to create another account, but it tells me that I'm already registered. But as same as capufo, I can login via web.
It's freaking catch 22. I gave up on it.
ok thanks guys, so its not just me. Im just curious how thatll get fixed cause without a login we cant update our devices.
Same thing happened to me but honestly I just kept trying and it eventually went through.

I had similar issues when I first got mine. After a few days, I found this solution on another website, and it worked for me. Others have verified it fixed their issue:
Go to settings and manage applications.
Force stop the Samsung Account and then clear data.
Open the Samsung Apps app and it will ask you to log in again.

c-loo is so right. Follow his instructions everyone. That so fixed the issue.
But one follow up question though. Does it make sense that sync is turned off for my samsung account by default. That is how it is on mines and that is how it was on mines even before.
Did not work for me....

Here is another thread with people having the same issue:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1169421
I had the same issue. I'm not sure if it will help or not, but it seems to have been fixed by changing my password on the website. Once I did that, my tab was able to verify the account and then check for updates normally.

Does the phone come preloaded with buyers Google info ?

Im receiving my Pixel today . However someone else with a Google account used thier info to order the phone and financed it . I read on Reddit that someone else was having a problem erasing everything and putting his Google acct on it .Read that a factory reset won't solve it either. Is this true ? Thank you

It should not have a google account attached to it at arrival. You will go through the set up process as normal and add your Google account that way.
Awesome thank you

As long as the device hasn't been used with another google account and then sold you'll be fine if it's new in box. If it's been activated/used the original user will need to sign into the device and remove their account info.

That is likely an instance where somebody bought a used phone from another person (not a new one from Google), and the seller didn't remove their account before performing a factory reset. So, that person ran into "factory reset protection" (aka FRP). That is by design, to prevent a thief from using your phone by just factory resetting it.
https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/6172890?hl=en
A new device should not have another user's account info in it, so FRP won't come into play.
I just got mine in today. I have mine as US carrier unlocked. So far it only came with Google apps only. Everything else is downloaded via Google Play. I don't know what differences there are to the Verizon version. I can tell you think, there are a ton of amazing features that I have seen so far. The camera is one. I wish I could test out the VR capabilites, but I will use the cardboard for now.

Unable to Sign Into Device Due to Recent Password Change

Hey, so I tried searching on here as well as on Google, but to no avail. I just bought an Axon 7 from Swappa and in trying to sign into my account it says I can't because I've recently changed passwords. I haven't changed the password on this account for at least six months. I tried another Google account that's had the same password for years and it gave me the same error. Any ideas? It's the U.S. variant if that makes any difference. I may just go ahead and go through all the steps to install custom recovery and unlock the bootloader and see if that fixes it, but I thought I'd check here first. Any help is much appreciated.
Edit: Ok I didn't notice before but it's actually giving me asking for a Google account that was previously synced with the phone, so now I'm searching Google for how to get around this. For reference, here's the wording:
This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on this device.
I'll post here if I can find the solution.
You're SOL, bro. The same thing happened to me when i sold my Nexus 6. The only way around this is to get the previous owner to give you their login credentials. What should have happened is for the previous owner to factory reset, sign in to his/her Google account and then sell it. I know, it's BS, but it is for security reasons.

Ahh, well that sucks. Thanks for the reply though. I'll reach out to the seller and see if they're willing to give me their info.

Essential Phone lock-out after factory reset

Hello,
For context: My friend bought an essential phone a while back that her and her sister used for a while until supposedly an update released requiring them to sign into their google account. None of their credentials seemed to work and so they gave up on the phone all together and got new devices. My ancient LG G4 needs to be replaced and she offered me the phone if I could figure out how to get around the lock-out. At first I thought it'd be as simple as performing a factory reset or rooting the phone, etc.
Well, it turns out that they had already tried that. The lock-out persists even after a full factory reset was performed. I double-checked all of their credentials with them to make sure none of them worked. Nothing. Since I am locked out and the phone has been reset, installing rooting programs is much more difficult and I really don't know what options I have left. My only hunch at the moment is that there might be some way to use the shell on the fast loader to interface with the phone, but I doubt I'd have many permissions. I've scoured lots of forums and videos looking for new approaches, but many of them assume I have access to the phone and can install apps, etc. Does anyone have advice? Let me know if you need more info. Thank you!
Are you getting a message like "This Device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device"
If so, that is Factory Reset Protection (FRP). If the password on the Google account used on that phone was changed, it makes it even harder to solve.
I don't know if FRP can be bypassed on a PH-1. You could try searching for it.

Yes, that is exactly the message I received. At least now I know what that security measure is called. That might help me on my search. Thanks!

I was able to bypass FRP on a used Essential Phone I got from eBay, which was running PPR1.180610.091 (August 2018 Pie release, the first one ever). Most instructions seem to involve using TalkBack or GBoard input settings to navigate to the online Help & Support activity, then searching for a help page that has a YouTube video to launch Chrome from there and download a replacement Google Account Manager and another app to force browser sign-in for Google accounts.
Hopefully, those hints will be enough to help figure out which instructions you find online are legitimate.

Good to know that can work on Essential Pie, I thought it was a fake video the 1St time I saw someone doing that on some other phone!

I appreciate your advice, but I've seen that one before and it no longer works with my release. The video never loads in, can't actually be clicked on to open. I'd need a more modern approach unfortunately.
