Towelroot works.
If you wait bootloader unlock stay away from any update.

mine is rooted 13324 and updated was disabled.
After a reboot, it show kindle have update but after login, the device info show still 13324. So I think that blocked update is 13.3.2.5.
PS: Do we have to uninstall the su before apply the new update?

No. You have not. Update will do it for you.

still based on 4.2.2?

Yes. JDQ39

Cant you just downgrade and then apply the bootloader unlock when its released if it ever gets released?

well

Well that would be very uncertain for sure . I know they have had time to check out the rollback from the last version but this new update hasn't been out long enough for anybody to even test ... Why are you volunteering to test ?

I'm on 14.3.2.5. Rooted, xposed without any issues. However, if you are not sure what are you doing: don't do it. Read this one before to begin with anything: Notice! You will brick this device...

At the moment you can not unlock the bootloader... you can root it...and from the reading up on it I did it doesn't look like the unlock will come soon either... I went through the same thing I feel for you ... best of luck...

Hmm...
So is it just the RAZR M XT907 that got this update? Or did the XT926 get the same thing? My thread I linked was for both, though I only had an XT926 to play with but as with all phones I unlock for customers I check for the most recent updates on the phone and I wasnt notified of any. I'm leaving the thread up because its useful to those who haven't taken it for the XT907, but could it go void because of the inability to downgrade the bootloader yet?

yes, you can reroot. since your bootloader is already unlocked, I'm assuming you have a custom recovery installed (TWRP or CWM)? if so, then you can flash supersu (search for it on XDA) via recovery.

Rooting Sony tablet z2 keeping warranty with locked bootloader

go on this website http://www.mediafire.com/download/hath2562jyxipo3/tr.apk
download easy root kit v8 and download http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784900
download tr.apk from 1st link
extract easy root kit
place tr.apk into files folder
then run program
Doesn't work for latest update .314
Works again just download v12 and use towelroot from towelroot homepage for .314
Let'try!
It works perfect. Thanks
***Edit****
Worked for me.. Thanks!!!
Model no SGP521
Is this working on the Verizon model?
Unroot possible?
After using this method, is it possible to unroot?
In case the tablet needs to be sent back to Sony, they won't touch it if they see root enabled.
How to unroot it? n00b here.

On the Z phones a simple factory reset by the pc companion would do fine in removing anything that could harm the warranty
Works perfectly on a SPG512 with 17.1.1.A.0.402 :highfive:

I rooted my Verizon variant with this method and all seems to work ok, had to run it twice however. Installed duel recovery after and making a backup now. All seems to work ok so far. Only thing I've mainly tried is root explorer and it gained SU rights and tested renaming an apk in the system files and worked fine.

Okay I have root I used the v10 easy root. Do I just flash dual recovery even though it clearly stats an unlocked bootloader is needed? I don't flash files if I am not sure of their compatibility. Thanks.

Baidu root works but it doesn't seem to last long and it gets unrooted after a while. I got my adblock hoats installed then lost root and couldn't get super su installed.

root problem

ive tried rooting my galaxy note 4 sm-n910f version by the guide here and it worked ive had superSU installed and used root required apps.
then for some reason after a week or so ive noticed that my phone isnt rooted anymore how can that be? ive check via "Root checker basic" app from the playstore and it says the device is not rooted.
and the superSU app is gone aswell.
ive tried to root it again 3 more times and it seems not to work...
what can be the problem?
Did you take an ota by any chance? That's all I can think of, if you did you might have to Odin stock again before you reroot

A: Yes, you'll recieve official OTAs as long as you have stock recovery installed. But there are chances that after rooting if you install any OTA then it might brick your mobile.
