While it would be nice, it is also much more difficult.
How about a version for those on T705?

Keep up the Good work @EMSpilot
Dont worry about trolls that come in and say better for AOSP. Lots of guides out there, they can make one...
Thank you for taking the time to create a ROM for this device.

any chance of this version for the T705 4g version ?
thanks
Bob

Nice work again sir. Don't know where you find the time

Well to get AOSP we first need CM which thankfully is close. Just remember with AOSP you are giving up the Samsung ecosystem and features completely. Not for everyone.
In the future a more tactful way to handle this would be to PM the developer and ask if he has any plans to develop an AOSP rom. Annoying the developer by denigrating his work in thread is usually not a good way to get what you want.

MV you contribute a lot to this forum, so I say this with all due respect, AOSP is not at all contingent upon CM. CM is built from AOSP source, and has the heaviest development community for a non-OEM firmware....but it itself is just a flavor of the ANDROID ecosystem.
Futher, CM development is strongly tied to CAF...which is QUALCOMM-centric. Our Exynos devices do not benefit directly from CAF developments. On the plus side...google has posted on their GIT, 3.10 kernel resources that have specific defconfigs for EXYNOS architecture. This will help development of custom kernels...which can sometimes be the largest hurdle in AOSP rom developemnt.
In the coming weeks I plan on setting up a build environment and attempting to build slim for our 10.5s...now I am by no means a "developer", but like gunthermic stated above...if you wanna eat, you gotta LUNCH (bad building pun intended).
EDIT: almost forgot... Nice work OP!

Text can be taken so many ways .I realize how my post can be taken but you are wrong.I was/am not degrading the OP work at all and don't appreciate the lessons in how to use the forum.
: Edit
I have my tablet running off the OP's work and it is nice to have someone doing something so i also thank you for the hard work as i do understand how hard it can be.
I just set up a dual boot HP laptop with Ubuntu alongside a "Dban"wiped pre-installed windows 8 now windows 7 with a newly created build environment for building Android.

If I had a stock base to work from it would be a start. Let me know if you have access to one? What Rom version are you running on the T705?
Thanks

Sure... I'll wait @[NUT] release the mutilated firmware for all Z1 variants, then I'll deodex the same releases (brand/region) and release the deodex packages...
Note: I need study and learn more about ART, since Android L won't use Dalvik, so I think odex/deodex won't exist anymore on future Android versions.

RHBH, agreed. We'll certainly need to find another way with ART.
@ogunja odex/deodex is a feature from Dalvik's JIT (Just In Time compilation). These terms doesn't even exist on ART which will rely on AOT (Ahead-Of-Time) compilation - which is done when an app is installed.
Don't expect a tool to "deodex" a compiled ART app.

As I said I need to learn how this works on ART... But I guess there would be no problem to mod ROMs that use ART, as we have on Odexed ROMs.

You can do that yourself if you're rooted. Use the apps found on the playstore called System App Remover. The advantages of this app is that it comments on what is safe to remove and what isn't. The free version did such a good job on my Nexus devices that I bought the pro version just to support the developer.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp
It can remove user apps also but that is less to your needs.
The best part is that it automatically backups what it deletes into a trash directory. This means if you accidentally remove something you shouldn't you can use the app to reinstall it. I used this feature on more than one occasion when an app would no long work (e.g. Gmail need a cloud print module).

That is good to know. Yes, I am rooted and have TWRP recovery.
I want to know what apps are safe to remove, and what aren't. With a tool that can tell me, that would be perfect. I don't have a samsung phone, so I have no use for sidesync, for instance.

Touchwiz ROM with least bloat

Hi all, I do not use any Samsung stuff. Not even the spen. But I like touchwiz's stability and performance. Which of the TW based rom can be flashed with the least bloatware, through AROMA or not, Omega, Aryamod, Civato, Darklord, Audex, ....or others?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649176
Read that roms info .
One person's bloat is another person's essential app. Just flash a ROM you like and debloat it yourself.

Omegas install gives you the option to debloat the rom. Closest I got to totally debloated touchwiz.

have you installed many other roms to compare them to yours? I have around 20 I am slowly testing.
There seems to be a lot more info now on framework mods etc than there used to be. Would you like to "fully" theme the rom AND apps to look and work like a much more expensive device? Where would you like to go with this? I'm happy to help with testing, feedback etc.
My reasons
