Sure... I'll wait @[NUT] release the mutilated firmware for all Z1 variants, then I'll deodex the same releases (brand/region) and release the deodex packages...
Note: I need study and learn more about ART, since Android L won't use Dalvik, so I think odex/deodex won't exist anymore on future Android versions.

RHBH, agreed. We'll certainly need to find another way with ART.
@ogunja odex/deodex is a feature from Dalvik's JIT (Just In Time compilation). These terms doesn't even exist on ART which will rely on AOT (Ahead-Of-Time) compilation - which is done when an app is installed.
Don't expect a tool to "deodex" a compiled ART app.

As I said I need to learn how this works on ART... But I guess there would be no problem to mod ROMs that use ART, as we have on Odexed ROMs.

Just wanted to share working deodex patch for .108 generic german firmware, taken from here. Don't forget to wipe dalvik/cache and flashing SuperSU update after flashing this patch. This patch is created using Kamome tool and is zipaligned.

I think it might give you some errors and annoying bugs, if you install it on different customization. I would not recommend doing so. As for benefits, it is simple. With Deodexed rom you can do modding - manipulate system files. Also I have heard, that deodexed Roms are slightly faster, except for the first boot after cleaning dalvik/cache. Don't know if it's true though..

Odexed app apks have better performance than deodexed. Better to leave them Odexed unless you really want to make a specific mod that requires certain apks to be deodexed.
Works with euro version as well

Make the rom LB compatible (cause users on unlockable BL like myself are really limited on what we can try on our phones...my own fault i know...)
Full aroma installer with a lot of your tweaks / mods to choose from, but make sure everything is well described and optional to install.
Now what would be really nice, theme the sh*t out of everything you can in the system, make various dark and light colors mods available to choose from in aroma, throw some rro layers for the most popular apps in there to make them match the system too, and make it all compatible with multiple dpi's while you're at it :laugh:

Hi thanks for this effort and all you have done for us so far.
My wishes for the rom would be to basically use the newest Z5 rom as a base, completely debloat it and and then add back the minimal items needed to have the full Xperia experience. Preferably using a mix of android 5.1.1 and 6.
If possible at all any part of the rom or the apk's available on AOSP, Sony AOSP and CAF should be recompiled with settings optimized for performance and stability
Every time an update is released all included apk's and files updated from sources like new FTF files, APKmirror and XDA. (Sony doesnt update the apks often or even at all)
Include all the mods that increase the options on our phones, like stereo mod, camera mod, stamina mod, etc..
Include free versions of Greenify, Amplify, AppOpsXposed and preconfigured for the default services, wakelocks and alarms (pro versions configurations) so the battery drains are fixed by default.
Note that i am willing to help achieve this all let me know what if anything you want me to do.

Yea u r correct. I also remember that. I am old user of Xperia P. The 4.1.2 ported from Xperia P. Because its similar hardware ans blah blah. But Xperia SP is totally different..

Deodex a Stock Rom is useless if you dont want to use Layers and because in the Stock Rom is the Sony Design App, you wont use layers. Deodex a Rom makes it a little bit slower, for designs like layers thats ok, but if you dont use layers it´s just making the device slower. And this thread shouldnt be in "General"

I didnt say that its useless what you did, and you made it well. But you should explain more what for, what effects deodexing and so on, or that your script wipes something. Here are not only developers or Hardcore users But one real critic, it´s no rom, it´s just a deodex patch. You dont have the whole system in there.

Edit 2018: Mediafire removed the file due to it being "a virus". In reality they attempted to get me to purchase a bitdefender subscription from them to "fix" the viruses on my PC. They targeted random files as some versions of Fragment ROM which is based on THIS ROM were left up (where is the virus??).
Sorry guys I don't have a copy so it's up to someone else to host if they have a copy and feel like it.

(The obvious disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong with your device if you flash this. I have taken as many steps possible to ensure top quality and am running this myself, but you have been warned!!)
Not much to say really. Latest Sony release ready to be flashed or used as ROM base. RXSMB members (you know who you are) don't need any permission to use this, others please send a quick PM I'm pretty good at responding quickly. I know how much of a pain choosing your base can be.
All stock as it was when Sony released it. Only been deodexed by myself.
Can be flashed on Locked Bootloader and will give you root and recovery (TWRP 3.0.2 and SuperSU 2.76). Includes the latest kernel and baseband 61 from the ftf, but that is all. No FOTA etc.
V2 Changelog: SuperUserMOD integrated. No need to flash the patch.
Removed Chrome, Browser and Drive from system. Download from Play if you need.
Deodexed the two apks in system/vendor/apps that I missed
The APN downloader (ie Download Internet Settings) is fixed - Special Thanks to @Rajeev for this

Patch V1 to V2: Removed for same reason as ROM
(You still need to manually delete from /system/app - Browser, Chrome, and Drive folders --- If it still doesn't work just install the main V2. Dirty flash will be fine)
For all versions there is a Chrome issue. To FIX navigate with a root browser to system/vendor/apps and delete the ChromeCustomizations folder and the ims folder. Reboot and Chrome from Play Store will work now.
Install Instructions:
(Best results will come from installing over Marshmallow)
Boot into TWRP Recovery
Clean install recommended (wipe only data), but not entirely necessary unless you have issues. Do not wipe System as this is done by scripts.
Flash the ROM
Wipe dalvik and cache
Count to three
Reboot
Any issues let me know ASAP in comments.
Additionally people seem to be having issues with the Stock Browser and Google Drive. It is best to delete them with a root browser from /system/app and then install them from Play Store.
ADDONS:
SuperUserMod made by editing the services.jar. Flashable zip for recovery. It will overwrite the services.jar in framework. Please make a backup before flash (just in case).
Removed for same reason as ROM

Not 100? sure as I use a ported system UI from Xperia X.
I imagine it's just the 4G icon as I used the Global ftf from Sony. If it's not in the system UI then it's definitely the 4G icon as this is what I have.

No it's an add on.
I edited the services.jar to have SUMod. Just flash in recovery onto the ROM and you'll have SUMod I hope.
