Video/photo samples - ONE General

I looked around, and couldn't find a thread for video or photo samples.
Lets see some shooting from this phone!
Here is a spur of the moment video shot on the way home. I'm going to do some more proper shooting this week, next to a SGS5, and a DSLR. I also plan to shoot with it tomorrow at the dragstrip.
Shot with the 4k DCI setting, then rendered @1080P in Sony Vegas Pro. No other grading or changes were made to the video/audio, frame rate, etc. The original file was 2:44, and 1.3gb.

Would you like some fries with that?
There are LOTS of reviews out there with camera samples.
Also, one guy actually posted a decent amount of pictures in a zip in a thread here earlier. Think it was called "shutter speed lag" or something... search for it.

Post your Nexus One videorecording samples!

As on the specs site of google there is written, that the N1 can catch D1 video (720x480) with fps20 and more (dependig on lighting conditions), i wonder if we could make a thread where we can collect short video samples in order to judge the quality of recording and to find out in which conditions we will get best results?
Unfortunately I don't have a Nexus One yet, so it's your turn meanwhile.

Galaxy S camera samples

In all the arguing about lag, screen and firmware issues I haven't seen any actual discussion on the Galaxy's camera. I have yet to compare it directly to the iPhone 4's camera, but I'm really impressed with this one coming from an iPhone 3GS.
I have been taking some sample shots over the last few days to see how it looks, most of them have been slightly processed with phone apps like photoshop mobile and vignette, but I feel every photo needs to be retouched and no camera takes perfect pictures on its own.
I'm not able to post full links yet, but copy and paste this on a different tab to see my samples.

If you guys have taken cool shots with the Galaxy please share
You can see in this thread pics and videos taken with it

Just how capable is Sony's 20.7mp camera? - Let's see

Hey folks!
I'm a hobby photographer, and I'm interested in how capable Sony's latest 20.7 megapixel image sensor actually is.
I've seen Flickr groups for specific devices only and for "Xperia photography" in general but I haven't found one yet that only features all devices with the same (or similar) image sensor.
So I created one
I'd love to see this group flooded with the best of the best photographs taken with phones featuring this 20.7 megapixel image sensor.
So if you have a couple of nice pictures already on Flickr, taken with either the Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact or Z2, please share them in this group - it would make my day!
https://www.flickr.com/groups/xperiaphotography
Help me help others, by adding photos to show just how capable Sony's 20.7mp camera really is! :cyclops:
Also, if you have any questions about photography with the latest Sony phones, you could ask me here in this thread or you could even start a discussion on my Flickr group!
I'm not a Pro Photographer (yet) but I can answer quite some questions for people who just start out with photography
[Fun fact: I actually got into photography through cameraphones - starting with the SE K800i followed by the SE Satio]
Hi,
Cool idea for a group in Flickr. I have album on my Flickr account with photos from my Z1 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157641744588983/).
I have photos from Xperia S too, but I have tons more from Z1. This phone is beast! I love it!
I'm experimenting all the time with photography and video. I recorded one advertisement and a couple of sketches for TV. It's awesome.
I'll post more later...

Please post those ads for TV that are recorded with the Z1. I'd love to see those. Please reply with quote.

Here are some of the videos that are already on YouTube.

We didn't had camera available for recording so we used my Z1. I'm losing quality when exporting the final video from Adobe Premiere. The original clips are way better than these on YouTube. But, as far as I'm concerned, nobody here noticed any difference on TV or for the Ad...
I like to experiment with the phone. I'll have to learn the camera man to record properly (since I'm in all of the videos) with the focus, the other is great. Hope you'll like it.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ vs Pixel 2 XL: Camera Comparison

Since it has the same camera hardware thought its worth posting here. The Pixel 2 still the best only falling short in low light photos. Anyone agree?

I'll try to remember tonight, to take one of my long exposures of a room so dark I can't see anything. I've done it before (just to experiment, I deleted them) and the P2 gets pretty good pictures (considering that even OIS isn't that good for a 10 second hand-held exposure). If I remember, I'll post the result. It's overcast now, so bright-light/deep shadow isn't there. (But the dynamic range is pretty good - nothing like what you can do on some films, but better than Kodachrome.)

How did you manage 10-sec exposure? What app are you using?
LenX.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be on Play any longer, but you can get it on ApkPure.
Thanks for your video.
I think that the S9 tends to overexpose a bit on photos, leading to burnt highlights.
Weirdly it looks like the opposite is true for videos as the pixel tends to overexpose, but personally I don't care too much about videos, while I want my pictures to be the best possible with the hardware.
