Has anyone else received the phone and not been charged for it? I've asked in a couple different post but nobody has seemed to answer me.
I pre-ordered last sunday, gave all my info, and less than a day later, my bank acct said charges pending for $380 something for the phone and otterbox. I noticed a few days later the charges were no longer pending I figured they were just verifying that the funds were there.
I received the atrix today, and still have the same amount of money in my acct that was there when I ordered the phone. Which makes me nervous and happy... I really don't want the money to be charged to my wireless bill next cycle.
Has this happened to anyone else before? How would I go about checking on this without openly confessing to at&t about the mishap? Any ideas??? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I had this happen with my iPhone 4 purchase. Pre-ordered and "Pre-Auth'd" charge which fell off after a week then I received the phone then posted 2 days after received

Yea... it's more likely that it's just taking a day or two extra for the charge to actually post than it is to have recieved the phone for free. I've also had the same thing happen too when i ordered my iPhone 4 if i remember correctly.
It is also a bank holiday today so that might have affected them charging you.. or at least the way the bank reports it. It prob. will post in the morning.

Idts my local chase was open today.
I work in banking, count those 2 charges that fell off as gone from your bank account. They definitely will come back, usually when you have forgot about them... Some companies lag when finalizing the transaction. I guess AT&T is one of them LOL

It all depends on the bank. Some banks observe Presidents Day as a national holiday.... some don't.

My N4 was delivered on Friday, 2 days ago, and my Bank Account has not been charged for the order yet. It's not even listed as pending or anything at all. But when I go to Google Wallet, I do see the transaction and order. And the funny thing is, it says that my bank account has been charged on friday for the order, when in fact it wasn't. I did not receive any shipping email from Google either. Has anybody else had this experience before?
Nothing unusual. I was charged one month after the shipping.

Really? Did your Google Wallet say that your card was charged even though it wasn't? Since that's the part I don't understand.

Okay, my bank account has finally been charged. The evil part of me was hoping that it would be an error on their part and I wouldn't be charged, but I'm glad I was since now I don't have to worry and keep checking to see if I'm charged yet.

Im having this same thing. It hasn't been delivered yet I dont think (I'm at work), but it has shipped and I haven't been charged. Did your show up before you were able to track it? When I click my tracking number it shows no tracking info.

Good guy, I personally wouldn't of complained or started a thread on why I wasn't charged.
there are a few people in the slickdeals nexus 4 thread that got the phone a month ago and still havent been charged because they cancelled the order. Their wallet says order cancelled but they still received the phone. One dude bought 2 of them suckers and still hasnt been charged for them and he cant be charged because the order was cancelled. Lucky bastards, lol
If you preordered and have already received your S7 or S7 Edge. (At this point I assume that only T-Mobile has started to deliver preorders).The website to submit your Samsung Gear VR offer form is now active. https://promos.samsungpromotions.com/gearvr/en-us/
Keep in mind that you need to have already received your phone because IMEI and MAC address are required. Also have in hand a copy/scan of your purchase receipt.
And if I purchased/preordered online, I would just submit my EIP or what?
I submitted the pdf file of my Jump Of Demand lease agreement. But you can also submit a screenshot of your EIP as long as it shows your name, date of purchase and IMEI (I have done it before).

I've been a happy T-Mobile customer for several years. But letting me have my S7e so early is the cherry on top hehehe.
I ordered march 1st from tmobile and receieved the EIP form. however, my device hasn't shipped yet and the EIP doesn't show my IMEI. should i wait?

You have to wait. You need the MAC address in the phone.

It takes weeks for approval, so I doubt anyone will get it so soon.

I had alert set for 9:30am tomorrow so now I don't have to worry about that. lol Thanks! Also I noticed that I think Samsung said free VR when supplies last or something. I know T-Mobile's website says 2/23-3/18. I hope all of those people in that time frame get one. I would think if you ordered in that time frame you should be able to get the promo's. If not going to be a lot of pissed off people. I bet the VR's go on back order. I think they did with the Note 5 Samsung Pay promo. The quicker you get this promo submitted the quicker you'll get your free VR/Netflix a year. I already have a VR and a year free of Netflix. lol
I just registered my Samsung Pay card and got a free Samsung wireless charger. I had 3 wireless chargers already. lol My old Tylt one no longer charges my S7 Edge for some reason. I had no issues with my Note 5. I wish this free one was the new Samsung wireless stand. That's nice but $70 bucks.
Does anyone know if the Verizon Gear S2 offer is for the Bluetooth version or the Verizon 3G Model that you have to pay for monthly? Verizon doesn't have a clear answer for anything. Every person you ask tells you something different.

Just got an email saying my receipt was not readable and blurry. Don't understand how when I just took a screenshot of my EIP agreement and sent that. So this time I took a picture of the receipt I got when bought it at the store. Hopefully that works.

My Tylt was always flakey with my S6E, but now with the S7E its really flakey. Try upside down or sideways. For an accessory whose main purpose in life is wireless charging, Tylt could have spent a little more effort on increasing the size of its coils.
Until I get the new charger I've actually been using one of the older Samsung tray chargers and the S7E doesn't quite fit in the curved well of the tray. It floats a mm or two above it, suspended by the curved edges. But at least it works reliably.
The Tylt will end up in an electronics recycling bin...

I received the e-mail yesterday that I was confirmed and approved for the Samsung Gear VR promotion and that it should ship around April 1st 2016. FedEx just dropped off the package to me here at home and I am pleasantly surprised that it came over a week early..definitely wasn't expecting it today..Glad I worked from home today...Be on the lookout out if you are expecting the VR Promotion guys!!

Mine arrived too. I listed it for sale right away before the market is flooded.
My Oculus Rift CV1 arrives next week and HTC Vive perhaps a week after that
The GearVR is gimmicky at best, nothing compared to the full-blown VR experience because it doesn't have positional tracking. When you lean in closer to objects, nothing happens. The FOV also is too narrow so you see black bars at the edge of your screen. The 360 videos are a blurry mess. I had a GearVR last year and sold it after using it once (I already had an Oculus DK2 for a full year before trying that).
Oculus Home is very slick though, but it'll be on the Rift CV1 as well.
If you try your GearVR and are disappointed, just remember that the full-blown PC version is at least twice as more immersive. I think mobile VR will catch up within a few years.
I received the email from Samsung yesterday that my order was placed to delivery on 04/01 and today I got the track number from FedEx and should get it tomorrow..

3/4/16..just a few days after I received my preorder
I got the approval of claim confirmation on Tuesday (Mar 22)
But up to now, I haven't receive it yet.
No matter how many times i submit a receipt they say it's not enough to verify purchase. I gave up on it
I bought a SM-935F off eBay and submitted for the free Gear VR. The appeal will probably be rejected but no loss in trying I guess.
I got mine today but the game bundle is nowhere to be found. I checked under library not installed and that section doesn't exist.

I sold mine half price. Tried it 3 times and I got sooo motion sickness. I was about to trow up like 2 hrs after each use.
I had the same problem with oculus rift dev kit.
Need much higher refreshrate for VR to be of any use for ppl like me.

This is software build vrs2aphe and the kernel was built September 17th. Still on the August 1st Security patch. I still have a white battery icon, better go get my brand new Note7 from Verizon that......isn't in yet!!

Yeah I'm about to charge it, just wanted it to cool down a bit before I did! Not sure if it limits it to 60% but hopefully I can trade this in later today or tomorrow then for a new safe Note7!

The fast charging seems a littler slower with this new update. There is also an annoying nag screen that pops up every time you plug in the charger or place the phone on a wireless charger.
This is on the original explosive model.

As for the system update, do you really think they're going to actually SHOW 60% as the charging max? No, they're going to recalibrate the indicator to show 100% when the battery is charged to 60% capacity.

I agree with raduque, i would actually like to see if battery performance has changed after the update. This will indicate if they are being sneaky, trying to make us think nothing changed when it really did.

I am just being sarcastic with my poll. It seems AT&T, Best Buy and Sprint customers have already been receiving shipments of the new safe Note7's, I've heard from customers of each carrier that have said they already have their replacement Note7's in hand. I however, am on Verizon and they still don't have the replacement units available, so I've been told in person and they supposedly won't be in till tomorrow. How'd you get your replacement Note7? Best Buy? Or did a local Verizon Corporate store have some for you?

LOL! We have 2 "explosive" Note 7s in the house. I advised against applying the update this morning out of fear of the 60% max issues which earlier (announced late last week I think) was slated to be rolled out in South Korea yesterday. I was going to wait until they replacements came in (tomorrow at VZW stores right?).
I feel like this light turns white only if the device was sold before a certain date (the only time one could possibly have gotten a defective device).. It's not like every device who's light turns white is bound to explode. They just have to ensure that you return the "possibly" explosive device so they don't get in more trouble.
