battery did not last more than 5h

2 Though i saerched on this very complete site i still dont understand what is rom radio and protocole (!!!)
3 I caught that there are ways of improving the beast by easy but risky ways of tweaking it and that the rom and radio are different things
4 My "problems" are:-- i still got win 98 on my pc so activsinc v 4.2 dont work so i manage through the mini sd card
-- Im not sure i need to upgrade to wm 6
Before tweaking anything im searching the site but still didnt found a clear and precise anwer to these questions

I tried to downgrade to install custom rom but failed...
When I gave up almost then I found out Advanced Ace Hack Kit ..
With just one click from Stock Rom, I get rooted and can install Revolution HD
But still cannot install new radio.img and still don't fugure out why ~~
Will post again after trying again...

Yeah try that radio flasher link.. but you can also flash it through ADB.. if the Radio Flasher fails, send me a PM
Or you could PM me too, as I wrote Radio Flasher
It uses fastboot, so if that fails you'd need to flash via PD98IMG or get ENG S-OFF/Radio S-OFF

if it wasn't for this post, i would be rooted right now haha. i've been reearchnf Root for months and attempted to do it on my Mac but no luck. Then I saw this post and tried Acehack. it was soo easy on my mac! flashing a new radio on mac is easy as well. Thanks!

Now my radio is 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M and willing to flash to 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M as recommended by genius "mike1986"
From stock rom (OTA updated Gingergread), rooted with Advance Ace Hack Kit and succesfully installed Revolution HD 6.1.2 ...
But a little hesitate (but I know I will defirnately do.. ) coz I found out a lot of "warning" if I flash with wrong radio.. ~~~
Advise will be highly appreciate BUT ! of course something happened to make my HD brick, under my risk...

As advised, flashed radio with Radio Flaser V1 and, successfully done without any problem.... .
Signal in my area is very weak but after flashing with new radio.... Oh my god.... improved signal strength clearly....

Used a few days after rooting, installing ARHD Rom as above, feel need to do something for battery life as drain rater fast (of course even better than stock rom before...) when using 3G...
So, followed the step as learned from ;
"[GUIDE][NOT SPAM] Enlarge your battery life : an attempt to fix the battery drain "
and
"HOW TO: Wipe Battery stats to improve battery life "
and
"[SCRIPT][AOSP/SENSE][UV+LMK]Most Kernels|Greatly Improve Battery Life & Performance ".
Reboot with no problem at all and feels radio signal sttength better....
I will post the result after checking for a few days, for newbie like me can upgrade without problem... well, this is only I can contribute to XDA so far, guys....

I got download Radio img file below ;
[RADIO+RIL] New radio 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M from DHD 3.06.405.1 GB base
and succesfully flashed but show in the phone as 12.62.60.27U_26.13.04.19_M (27U NOT 27) so is this correct Radio image ????
Well, so far no problem at all.....
Now testing for battery life and performance as I did everthing I learned from XDA to improve for that... ~~
How did you get it to work (Rooting the ROM) I tried last night and it just hung on the HTC screen so I had to reboot the phone.
I am running 2.3.3 if that helps.

a can tell only that i use 77.36R radio and Cm7 but battery life is very bad

One week ago I update my 1.6 to 2.1 and its nice but i saw some problems ( no app2sd, slow when use some apllications music, internet, GPS ) and i think i can update my phone on custom ROM because i heard, custom rom's sometimes are better and very cool : )

Now I have phone with 1Gb memory but tomorrow i goingo to have 8 Gb SDHC memory class 6 and want to try new ROM : )
Can you tell me what is in your opinion the best ROM for me ? That is what im looking (its very important for me ) :
- app2sd ( i need to instal apllications on SD because that LG have little memory ; / and you konow.. when i have sdhc i want to use it : )
- fast and good optymalization ( when i run a Internet , music and GPS phone dont slow down )
- all or 99% must working ! i need working phone i must have WiFi, GPS, Music , games , aplications , SMS, ringing all, all im new user and i cant fix it alone
- goot battery ( i would like to battery live for 2-3 days when i evry day ring for 5-7 min , write 5-7 SMS , use appllications for 30 min or 1h or GPS )

i use wifi irregurarly for about 3 hours get few call and write some messages and soft mod is a modification of the original mod by addition of some apps and changing the themes.like make our phone look like a wondows phone or an iphone etc
There are several options:
2.1 Custom (e.g EleganceSwift, Greendroid...) then you will have good battery life and with good optimization its way faster than stock. 100 % working
2.2 Custom (not really any 100% usable ROM)
2.3.7 Custom (CM7 by tejasdj12 or miroslav_mm) 1-2 days of battery, 95% working, quite fast, but not as stable as 2.1.
4.x not recommended for your preferences

well i came from SDSL + 29 to tejas' build because there were too many random reboots in SDSL

( Tejas is on .32 ? ) Im looking for stable , and optymalized and with small number of bug's ROM (Sorry , i know im stupid and lose your time but 2 days Im read about ROM's and my brain is damaged )

Sdsl + 35 is facing connection issues (wifi drop,.gsm problems) and random reboots
Edit: your not stupid, your questions are adequate. This is what the forum is for so answering is not wasting time for me

i use 2.6.29 kernel because it is very stable and will give good batterylife i dont have random reboots because i have 256mb of swap
Hey yesterday i flashed KitKat Prime ROM 4.4.2 and i knew there is no FM RADIO with it. So someone know if i can get FM RADIO because its CM 11 based ROM ? But the FM RADIO SHOULD WORK WITHOUT 3G - WIFI just with HEADPHONES LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONE because i already know how to get ONLINE ONE !

For your request , L7 devs know the desire of some users and try to build it at this period on theirs roms ....the only thing that we have to do is to wait for succes (or unsucces )
On the rom's thread we are speacking a lot ,too much ,about "FM-radio" ......and that begin to annoy other users ...
Me too ,i hope ,i wish for to have FM-working on customs !!! my dream to have a 4.4.2 full working rom ... i need FM-radio too .
