ROM Kernel 18538
Radio 1.51
is ok.
BTW, what is your x01ht's bootloader ?
it seemed 0182(mostly seen in White x01ht) cannot flash radio
Just flash till u r satisfied, there r no right or wrong rom or radio. Some rom have the features u want while some u don't, some r stable, while some r fast. So just flash around with so many of roms around.
Radio... anything but 1.54!
Yup . u need to flashed a few radio roms to find the one suited to your needs.
i've flashed 1.54.00.10 , 1.48.00.10 , 1.47.00.10 and 1.47.30.10 . my current radio is 1.47.30.10 as it gives good battery life and a bit better reception then 1.47.00.10. although 1.54.00.10 gives a much better reception it really drained the batteries. btw i'm on DiGi , got no change to test 3G yet....not for now.

[Q] HD2 battery life

Hello all,
I bough a T9193 HD2 with android NAND on it from a guy.
Model Number : Nexus One
Android version : 2.3.2
Baseband version : 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.15_r6-g765f3a9 [email protected] #21
Build number: NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.3 NAND
I'm really happy with the phone, I use ADW 1.2.1 to have 5dock icons and some other things.
But the reason I'm opening this thread is cos I searched many threads but couldnt find best answers for my issues.
my issues are :
the battery life is really short
I installed 2 games HD and when I open it, doesnt start but the rest of the games run perfect
when I install some apps and want to use their Widgets, they dont show up on Widgets menu
Does anyone recommend any radio or ROM to improve my battery life ?
thank you

I tried the same build you described including the latest 2.5 build and also noticed shorten battery life. The problem I saw with an overnight SetCPU log, there was auto sync going on every 8-10 minutes even though I set everything to manual sync. I went back to Cmylxgo's Stock Desire HD(2) build. Much better battery life for me. I only lose 3% battery life over a nine hour period during the night when I have the phone on standby.
I'm using NexusOne ROM. After battery wipe trick and downclock CPU to ~700Mhz my HD2 is able to work about 36h (standard use).
I tried to find how to do it but none are focus in what u saying. How can I do battery swipe and crackdown? Please.
thanks

I said "swipe" instead of "wipe" - sorry for that, I'm not native english
First: look at this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=827355 (battery wipe/calibration)
Second: use an app which is attached at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505419 and downclock CPU for save battery consumption
P.S. Here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024867) is an helpful app to calibration battery on Android.

Installed succesfully for 2.3.5 (Kernel v 2.6.35.14) with this amazing tool ~~

I tried to downgrade to install custom rom but failed...
When I gave up almost then I found out Advanced Ace Hack Kit ..
With just one click from Stock Rom, I get rooted and can install Revolution HD
But still cannot install new radio.img and still don't fugure out why ~~
Will post again after trying again...
You could try this tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1169398
Yeah try that radio flasher link.. but you can also flash it through ADB.. if the Radio Flasher fails, send me a PM
Or you could PM me too, as I wrote Radio Flasher
It uses fastboot, so if that fails you'd need to flash via PD98IMG or get ENG S-OFF/Radio S-OFF
Thanks guys...
Really appreciate for advising...
I will try and post again, just in case.. there is someone who is more novice than me....
I am enjoying totally new environment now.. so fast and smooth !!
if it wasn't for this post, i would be rooted right now haha. i've been reearchnf Root for months and attempted to do it on my Mac but no luck. Then I saw this post and tried Acehack. it was soo easy on my mac! flashing a new radio on mac is easy as well. Thanks!
Before trying... it will be safe ????
Now my radio is 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M and willing to flash to 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M as recommended by genius "mike1986"
From stock rom (OTA updated Gingergread), rooted with Advance Ace Hack Kit and succesfully installed Revolution HD 6.1.2 ...
But a little hesitate (but I know I will defirnately do.. ) coz I found out a lot of "warning" if I flash with wrong radio.. ~~~
Advise will be highly appreciate BUT ! of course something happened to make my HD brick, under my risk...
Thanks, guys....
Thanks guys !!!!! Smooth as Silk !!
As advised, flashed radio with Radio Flaser V1 and, successfully done without any problem.... .
Signal in my area is very weak but after flashing with new radio.... Oh my god.... improved signal strength clearly....
Thanks guys.... I really appreciate for the help
Highly Recommended this radio 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M
Improved my battery life ,and smooth ,

i try
ARHD 6.1.x
Black Ice V1.0 ( this Rom is fast and smooth , high score in benchmark)
Rcmix3D
Lee Droid
MIUI .
improve also my wifi signal and network signal
thk for this greatly radio !!!
Learning for making battery life and performance...
Ok,
Used a few days after rooting, installing ARHD Rom as above, feel need to do something for battery life as drain rater fast (of course even better than stock rom before...) when using 3G...
So, followed the step as learned from ;
"[GUIDE][NOT SPAM] Enlarge your battery life : an attempt to fix the battery drain "
and
"HOW TO: Wipe Battery stats to improve battery life "
and
"[SCRIPT][AOSP/SENSE][UV+LMK]Most Kernels|Greatly Improve Battery Life & Performance ".
Reboot with no problem at all and feels radio signal sttength better....
I will post the result after checking for a few days, for newbie like me can upgrade without problem... well, this is only I can contribute to XDA so far, guys....
Dear boobootalk,
You tested almost all custom rom huh !!!
Do you think which custom is better for stability and performance ???
I am trying for ARHD as my first custom rom now..~~
Advise me, please....
Dear boobootalk again ~~
Where I can get "radio 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M" ????
I hope to try, too ~~~
Thanks for advise.~~
Is this correct Radio image ??
Ok,
I got download Radio img file below ;
[RADIO+RIL] New radio 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M from DHD 3.06.405.1 GB base
and succesfully flashed but show in the phone as 12.62.60.27U_26.13.04.19_M (27U NOT 27) so is this correct Radio image ????
Well, so far no problem at all.....
Now testing for battery life and performance as I did everthing I learned from XDA to improve for that... ~~
How did you get it to work (Rooting the ROM) I tried last night and it just hung on the HTC screen so I had to reboot the phone.
I am running 2.3.3 if that helps.

Best ROM to improve the performance

Hi guy! I have a simply question: what is the best rom to improve the performance of my x8? I have read some thread but there are most custom ROM and i don't understand what is the better in term of stability and performance.
Moreover i my phone is branded, thus i risk the block of the SIM if i change the ROM?
Can you help me?
there are a lot of Roms and they are all somewhere similar to each other,
some are running smoother, some others are faster, better try out for yourself and decide what is the best Rom for you.
A branding does not mean your phone has a Simlock that are 2 different things...
branding only means it has apps installed from eplus or t-mobile etc
but i can't tell you if you got a simlock or not...
if you buy a phone (t-mobile) then there is written down if it has simlock or not
i can't tell you the future =P
i have gingerDX, and latest version is really fast and battery backup is really good. block of sim could only happen when you unlock bootloader, it's not important which rom you put.

Hi Papozzo and welcome to XDA Developers,
First of all you will need an unlocked bootloader if you want to flash an fast/smooth ROM with Kernel. Please Read the How To's to unlock bootloader
BUT BE WARNED ==> CHECK THE STICKER BEHIND BATTERY
>11W29 Devices have a very very good chance to get an unlocked bootloader, all above it will totaly brick!
If you want Stability and Performance you need froyo (CM6) rom
If you want Performance and more Features but little less Stability you will use Gingerbread (CM7)
Hope i Help, Press Thanks if Yes
