Sony xperia z1 of Telecom Germany is updated new firmware. i dont want to lose root but im going to update and i info about the changelog later.

Custom ROM...
OP: Search in Development section, look out for tags like [2.3.X] or [GB] or something. These might be it. They are based on 4.0.2.A.0.62 or .69 for sure(except CM mods). Even if it is written 2.3.7, it is just the version number, doesn't change much.
Also, there is no big difference between .62 and .69 firmware, just .69 is only for German, the only change is related to a legal issue(changes Gmail name only, if I am not mistaken).
Sony Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet owners can look forward to a new update as firmware build number 17.1.1.A.0.438 has just been certified by the PTCRB. This would update the firmware from the current build of 17.1.1.A.0.402.
Someone knows when?

Anyone knows if we can download and flash this firmware with Flashtool?
I wonder what's it for. I haven't had any problem as it is but. people are complaining about not having multi user but what I really care for now it's root. don't get me wrong news some times are good and we will see lets hope it's something good

There are said LP update and bug fix, But I have't try because my device c6903
I created a ftf bundle with the new Android Oreo Update for Xperia XA1 G3121 model.
I took it from German Generic Branch it is debranded.
I already flashed it on my device without problem.
