Help - Missing modem MODEM: N9005XXUENC2 - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Help me please somebody, after flashing this firmware:
Model: SM-N9005 Galaxy Note 3
Country: Czech Republic
Android Version: Android 4.4.2
Kernel version: 3.4.0-636608
Build date: 27 Feb 2014
Build number: KOT49H.N9005XXUENC2
AP: N9005XXUENC2
CSC: N9005ETLENB1
MODEM: N9005XXUENC2
I dont see modem (MODEM: N9005XXUENC2) and I dont use my N9005 to calling ...
When I dial *#1234# ... I see only this:
AP: AP: N9005XXUENC2
CSC: N9005ETLENB1
IMEI is -null- ... how to restore?
Please upload somebody anywhere my missing modem (MODEM: N9005XXUENC2) for flash via ODIN and share link with me, thank you!!!
Sorry for my english ...

There is a thread here with radios in it, have a search (my app won't search so can't link) - however usually restoring back to 100% Stock fixes it for you.

I think need all Odin files - pit, pda, modem, csc ... for re-repartition ... please share somebody repair files for Kit Kat firmware (pit, pda, modem, csc)
I flash TWRP and try do full wipe, and try flash again one file with stock firmware ... but doesnt help ... modem still missing

Sounds like you're in the same boat, like some other Users (Me included)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53111058
I guess you flashed the E4 FW and tried to go back to your local one.
Problem here is, the Modem won't pass by going back. I played around with TWRP, Odin and any kind of efs Backup, that I ever did. But only flashing the E4 again hooked me up with an working Baseband / IMEI

Try to install modem.bin and non-hlos.bin only in odin

**SOLVED**

[Q] Cannot unroot/unbrick my SM-N9005 on bobcat rom 4.4

Hi there....
i rooted my Note 3 LTE SM-N9005 and had it flashed with bobcat rom 4.4. then i had dropped my phone and having some issues with screen. Now i need to flash it with custom rom. I hope I've done everything as per instructions to odin the phone using the default stock rom N9005XXUDMJ7_N9005TMNDMK1_N9005XXUDMJ7_HOME.tar (Bought the phone from Dubai, UAE; my friend's phone is with the same firmware which was bought in the very same outlet)
But when i try to unroot it, everything goes good till finally the left upper box turns red and says "FAIL!" following is the progress i do get during unroot process.

I don't have an idea on what should have gone wrong here. Tried not less than 10times using different Odin versions too, but still the result was same.
Guys, Please give me hand to get my phone back to life. I cannot boot my phone now. another custom rom in my internal memory but cannot boot into recovery either. What should i do? is there any other way to unroot/unbrick my precious (for me) mobile.?
Thanks in advance for all your time and effort put to save my ass.
Am not sure but i think you get this error because you are trying to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3 that not working anymore on samsung at least for the mean time.
Go to sammobile and download the official kitkat (poland) then flash it via Odin

U r trying to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3 which is not possible, even its failed your bootloader is upgraded to kitkat, try to flash poland latest ROM B3, everything will be fine.
Download from below link
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/
I had the same problem. Flash the device by using a PIT file and have repartition selected. It will wipe all your data but it worked for me.

N9005XXUDMK2_N9005OXXDMK3_N9005XXUDMJ7_HOME.tar.md 5 >> is not 4.4.2 (KK) rom. You are trying to downgrade your phone. Download the latest KK firmware and then reflash and see how it goes.

are you sure its saying that is your total amount of ram? or is it just your available/currently used ram?
if you have 3gb total ram, the available ram will always be less than that.. depending on what else is running at the time, so it will change frequently.
for e.g my note 3 currently says RAM STATUS 1.38GB/2.71GB
2.71GB = total ram (it will always display slightly less than the supposed 3GB that it has)
1.38GB = either amount of ram currently in use or amount of ram currently available (im not sure which way they do it)
but if the second number is anywhere close to 3GB, theres nothing wrong.
same problem probably same phone (

Data connection only works on CyanogenMod

Hi everyone !
I'm Matt, a Belgian student so don't be afraid of my english !
So I've a SM-G900F since September. Three weeks after bought it, I changed the ROM ! I put a port of CM11. After that, every rom ROM that i've flashed (exept Cyanogen ) was bugged. When i say bugged, i talk about the data connection. Once very slow, once not functionately,... Firstly, i thonk that that was a problem on the APN but i check that and that's not. After that, I asked me over the MODEM so i said, Ok , I'm going to put the original firmware from SamMobile ( The belgian firmware ) with Odin. Yesterday I did it BUT , at the end, they were an error Message ! That was something like that :

So i search that on XDA and i found that i had to put the firmware of my country (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2641965) but that's my coutry's firmware ! So after this failed message, i put CWM recovery on PDA section and my phone booted ! But since that, I can't use any data connection exept on cyanogen. And today, i looked at the G900F of a friend and that was the same baseband ... ANG2 for Belgium ....
Thx for reading and i hope that i'll find a member that he can resolve my problem ! See u

Not off hand no, I would have to search and i'm sure we'd yield the same results so i'll leave that to you, if you're rooted and have a custom recovery, have no problem using odin, then i'd flash Neat Rom's rom, there's a tutorial in there which links to a bootloader and modem, ang3 I believe or AMG3, can't remember exactly, but that one works for me so try that.
If i've been understand, you think that i have to flash AMG3 Modem part ? Did u ever heart something like that ?

Odin fail with aboot.mbn

Bought a new Galaxy S5 G900F privately and noticed I am not getting any updates, the phone is rooted. So I decided to go back to stock, but after following the how-to guides, I get to the point where Odin (any version - 3.09 down to 3.04) fails with the error:
<ID:0/004> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/004> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/004> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/004> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
On the phone I get the message : Secure Check Fail: Aboot.
I have double checked that the Reactivation lock is unchecked, and the Developer options are enabled.
Not really sure where to go from here. I am using the "G900FXXU1BOC7_G900FO2U1BOC1_O2U.zip" stock firmware. There are no labels on the original box that indicates the phone is locked to any particular region. Current android version is 4.4.2 with a build number of S5G900FXXU1ANJ1.
Any help appreciated.
Adrian
Hello,
It is a error caused by your CSC. You must find original CSC and download ROM with original CSC. Don't matter if phone is locked in an network, matter only the CSC.

Right. Thank you. Any idea how I will find out what my original CSC was?

Now phone it is working? You can install from google play, samsung phone info, or you can connect with PC and view what CSC you have from Kies. Last option it is to restore last firmware from Kies.

Excellent. Thank you. Yes, the phone is working and after installing the phone info, I can see the CSC is from Poland. So now I know that the stock firmware was wrong (was getting the UK version). Trying to get the poland stock firmware from Sammobile, but getting "bad gateway" errors. Any other reliable place to source these images?
Adrian
Just copy name of right firmare from sammobile and search on google. I think it is another site, something like this: http://samsung-updates.com/

I tried this with both Odin 3.09 and 3.04. Is there a problem going directly to Lollipop from 4.4.2? Should I try the 4.4.2 firmware first?
Anything else that I can try?
I tried with the Kit Kat version this time and received the following error (which looks to be similar to the other):

Did u flash this stock rom ??
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/40283/G900FXXU1BNL7_G900FXEO1BNL1_XEO.zip/
try to flash the best compatible software
and use the latst odin
I am also not able to connect the phone to Kies - The device driver never installs correctly. I have tried installing Kies again after fully removing it, as well as installing the separate device driver "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.25.0-retail"
Perhaps the two have something in common?

This is the latest firmware for your CSC with the latest bootloader
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/48389/G900FXXU1BOE5_G900FXEO1BOF1_XEO/
Use a later version of odin again
extremely sorry for the last firmware with a little outdated

YO BRO
SERIOUSLY
ARE U SURE YOU BOUGHT G900F
YOUR PRODUT CODE SAYS ITS A G900A
SERIOUSLY WHAT IS YOUR PHONE MODEL
YOU HAVE STARTED THE THREAD TELLING THAT YOU HAVE A G900F
---------- Post added at 01:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:13 PM ----------
Install phone info app from playstore and see what is your real phone model, pda and csc
i think your going to install the wrong model
thats why i think odin is not doing the process
common bro
If you have a G900F
your product code have to be like this

i also think that you have a G900A
um not sure
in my device also it says product code :SM-G900FZKASIN
and it is a G900F
In settings/about device:
Model Number: SM-G900F
Build Number: S5G900FXXU1ANJ1
Baseband Version: G900AUCU2AND3
Behind the Battery it states: Model SM-G900F.
So I think its a 900F.
On Sammobile, the only firmware available for a 900a is from ATT?? Downloading this firmware to see if it will flash.
Adrian
Your product code is the problem
hmmmm it a lil confusing, post this on sammobile forums or wait for a recognise contributer to reply
Your previous user might have flashed a custom modem and bootloader I THINK
But i dont know why the later version of odin not doing it for you
This is not a problem with your firmware
you can flash any CSC firmwares from odin
its not a big deal
try to install samsung drivers properly(samsung kies may work too) and try again
---------- Post added at 02:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:09 PM ----------
use this app from samsung bro
it'll do the process nicely
download the pc version from here

BTU G900F, Marshmallow bootloader won't flash

I've been trying to flash Marshmallow on my BTU G900F, but it won't actually flash the bootloader. Odin reports successful but bootloader is still the old version and MM won't boot. Any suggestions? So far I've tried a few versions of Odin and the Sri Lanka and Netherlands MM roms and with/without ticking bootloader update in Odin.
Odin log:

Put the phone off, or remove the battery from it for about 15 seconds.
And boot directly to download mode. And oh, you should flash bootloaders along with modems!
Hope this helps.
Happy flashing
Are you flashing the modded BTU MM ROM?
This one works for my G900F BTU

I'll give that a try tomorrow. I'm flashing both. Forgot to say, I've even factory reset and flashed the whole stock rom and it still wouldn't update it.

Thanks, if the above fails, I'll try that.
No need to flash separate bootloaders and modems with the modded one
It is a stock G900F Marshmallow ROM, the only mod is to convert it to BTU and remove a partition that wiped the phone during install
