Yes they are trying hard to unlock the bootloader of the mobile which is locked by secure boot of Qualcomm....

I compiled cwm for the p690 and when I run the fake flash. I can use the volume buttons to scroll up and down. But cannot enter any menus because the power button doesn't work. If any one could help me fix this so I can release it.

we dont need cwm6 because we already have a cwm running on your phones perfectly so no need of cwm6 we only now need of new rom and a cm 10 with camera working so compile that with source

Well I found out that someone else also has it working and I continued to get problems with it.So until I get enough knowledge to fix these problems I will not releasing it but on the bright side I am in process of compiling AOKP using the latest source code as the rom that the P690 has is quite old.

- Is it possible to get permanent Clockwork Recovery, if i brick my Milestone 2, so i dont must flash RSD lite every time? :laugh:
- Im developer, really small developer, im porting ROMs from another devices, but with this Motorola is very hard.
- I need that permanent CMW, if i brick my device, so i dont need to flash RSD, then ROOT, then boostrap, LOL, just to boot in recovery adn flash another ROM.

No. It is not possible, unless you have unlocked bootloader or you want to hard flash it to flash chip like Danik (MS2Ginger developer).

No info on the rom, developer approached me with a pm message, doesn't work as other say, it's not in the proper place just in general not to mention the nickname of the "developer"

Hey guys took a look at the thread I love the community trying to make ChaOS a reality... The ROM show's up like that because the dev is probably using my ROM as a base... although my ROM isn't the best base for an unofficial port. Better use randomblame's it's cleaner . Now about the not booting up. I am guessing it is failing to intialize the framework due to a kernel issue. I can fix and make a ChaOS compatible kernel... I will try to do it by tomorrow. Dev please PM me to tell me what development procedures have gone on. Also ChaOS uses the MIUI theming engine so I am guessing some special libs and other stuff must be transplanted into the base. I can also take a look into it if the dev gives me the point of starting Hope you all have a good day

It depends on the devs that are they willing to produce any aosp rom or not . But till now I don't think that there are near possibilities for an aosp rom .

because custom roms are only flashable via a custom recovery.

please add the power management appand stamina mode of xperia .
because rom drains more battery quickly,if power management app is added,it would be a complete rom.

I have a question though, does the lightbar work? does it interact with the system like in stock ROM, for instance, does it change colors and beat along with Music app AKA Walkman? Thank you very much and looking forward to future updates.
