Yes its a Good News for all Note 3 Owners,I think HTC declared Kitkat Upgrade for HTC ONE so Samsung must come faster to relies update to his new device.

Wouldn't get your hopes up it'll take Samsung at least 3 months before they get it out and even then if they do what they did with 4.2 and the s3 they'll just keep refusing to release it UNLESS there going to put a big update into knox in 4.4 that will completely stop and break all rooting.

Samsung refuses to give even a clue about a Rom release. If you ask they give the old response that the firmware is in testing and may be released at any time...
Well as Exynos devices (however only for Russia) have got the official update I don't think ours will be much further from release. Now whether I will upgrade to it or not is an entirely different question. I think the update should be available within one month from now.

Maybe. I have CM 12.1 nightly and it is mostly OK, except that Bluetooth is still broken, like it has been in 5.x all the time. The last stable CM that has working Bluetooth is SlimSaber 4.4.4.
Will it be available for S2 HD? (SGH-i757M)
It would be cool becouse there is no lolipop ROM for our devise and all KitKats lag pretty much. Despite the devise has faster hardware than original S2. It's just lacks good software development, unfortunately.

Sammy has not released 5.1.1 update for the previous "flashship" Galaxy S5, not corrected stagefright, and don't care about i9100 since several years...
Of course it is fake... They skipped 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0
Why would they release 5.1.1???

Yes, we have, but unfortunately it does not quite work. Bluetooth is broken and phone runs out of memory in day or two.

Mine works without reboots. I use greenify and xposed framework.. 400mb free ran on idle

Is not even get official 5.1.1 ... the support for this devices ended up before 2-3 years.. so no official
but guys.. touchwiz Lollipop for old device like s2 is like the expensive car without the wheels.... But custom roms for s2 is pretty good.

my S2 works fine, including the bluetooth and all.
now i'm on the latest CM and it's all goooood
We ain't magicians... Building CM requires hard work, principally on new devices which have no cm port yet.

Don't think there is a CM port for this tablet and it will never have one. It is an old tablet released in 2014. Be happy with the stock ROM. You could always root it and make tweaks, if you are upto it. Root exploits are available for this model.

And thats the tactics of the worlds cheapest and best and non monopolistic manufacturers like Samsung,Huawei and so on.
Although it's always possible to get the newest android version ported for the most/all old Smartphone devices , they don't do it.
I "wondering " why they don't update their own manufactured devices, ; )
