Hi Guys it's 2am here and all i want from this world is threee hours of sleep i'm not sure if you remember my rom: CyanoBean Pure i posted a thread about it here but i removed it later because the rom wasn't ready yet ! NOW it's fully cooked :laugh: and i brought you the download link, all it takes is one click to make your ACE smarter again
Warning :
I'm NOT responsibe for Bricked devices, dead sd cards or any other thing that may happen to your ace, that means you're flashing this rom on your own responsability, so don't judge me later !
This Rom doesn't contain any WAREZ and if you found one contact me before taking any serious action !

Why Don't i Just Flash a Stable cm10.1 on my ACE :
Important question ! i'm not attacking anyone with this but i dont recommand CM10.1 for You (at least for gamers and people who install a lot of apps)
Why ?? in CM7.2 based roms you can move any sort of app to sd card (apps containing widgets or not) but in cm9/10/10.1 you CAN'T that means apps like tapatalk, twitter... cannot be moved to external storage and they take much space in the internal (11mb, 8mb...)
Also if you're a gamer and you love playing games that requires sd data like gta3, Pes12, Nova... on your Ace you'll have to say GOODBYE to all your games before flashing CM10.1 because in CM10.1 "sdcrad" becomes "sdcard0" wich prevent those games from finding it's data and so.. they won't work !!

[ HOW-TO] :
1) go to your cmw recovery by pressing the volume up, home key, turn on buttons at once
2) wipe data cache, factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, fix permissions
3) Go to "istall zip from sdcard" then "choose zip from sdcard" click the ROM's file and choose "yes" then follow the instructions in the Aroma Installer
4) if you noticed that the installation process in the arpma installer was so quick go back to main cmw menu and repeat step 2) then install the ROM again and you're Done
(How To set up ics/jb task manager) :
click on the ics task manager in status bar :
disable the following options :
then do the next steps :
(Important tips) :
-after the first boot you gotta go to "theme menager" select Achep's jelly bean theme then reboot !
-at the first boot you'll notice that there's no notification bar ! that's nomal ! just do something that will show a notification like downloading a pic, getting a call, charging your phone.. and you'll see the notifaction bar OR it will show up by itself !
-the same thing for the Google Play and Youtube ! those apps won't show up untill you add a google account to your phone !

1)If you have issues with watching Youtube Videos on browser, use the Youtube App!
2)I'm so sorry guys about the sms bug, i believe now that it's solved just replace it with the NEW one in Attachments And push it to system/app, set permissions : rw/r/r and Reboot !

I have over 2 gs on my sd card, so thats not the problem. It must be on my end somehow. Idk what else to try, id like to try it out.

He is using Kolja's kernel,i.e Official CM7.2 kernel..
Space-Caker Kernel is only for stock based rom..n this rom is based on CM7.2

The usb thethring has been well tested and it worked fine for me :/ because the rom is based on the Stable version of CM7.2 !

Transparent statusbar only for 4.1.2, compatible with Omega v47, v48...
I made these flashable zips as backup-reversable. Backups are stored in folder /sdcard/Universal Flasher. Enjoy!

This is a possible solution! I say possible because it works for most users, but you might be an exeption. Only way to know for sure, is to flash it in cwm recovery.
If the problem remains, you should remove your Google account, wipe data for Phone.apk and Contacts.apk, reboot and create Google account again.
Another option is to open Contacts app, in the Menu press Import/Export, choose Export and save the *.vcf file. You then delete all your contacts and import the saved *:vcf file back. Similar can be done with other apps: like TitaniumBackup, Go Backup etc.
Removers
These flashable zip files will delete all instances of apps and mods. This way you don't have to full wipe your phone or reinstall a rom.
Note: None of developers' scripts have been changed in making the removers.

Change CSC
With this method you can set your service provider's CSC (Customer Sales Code) without a full wipe. Similar can be done directly on your phone by using an app (search Google Play), but your phone will be factory reset.
I used DBT csc as an example, because it has feature.xml. Most other csc folders do not, so you can simply copy them as described in the video.
This guide is suitable for any rom, providing you have multi-csc option.
How to copy .obb files to your phone
This video is for anybody, who receives an error when copying .obb files from PC to /Android/obb folder in S3. Apparently it is a 4.2 Android issue and here is how you do it:

Well mate i opened the folder of INU csc n it doesnt contain any file named feature.xml. so how can i change my csc to inu before flashing?

Don't worry about feature.xml, you already have it on your phone. Simply drag system folder from INU to the root of the opened zip. Then flash the rom with no wipe.

You can flash pimp my rom rescue package, it should remove beats tweaks, but you will also lose other settings you made. Hopefully I will make a remover only for beats later today.

Edit: tried transparent status bar from vegeta's thread but I guess it isn't updated for omega v40, didn't worked at all. Worked fine for v39 though. Can you provide any flashable zip for 100% system transparency bro?

Yup mate tried from same thread by vegeta. First installed systemui.apk then 100% transparency mod. But didn't worked at all. Didn't tried the other thread though.

You're becoming quite the uninstaller here. Thanks for all your help around here. I hate it when devs leave users hanging without an uninstaller. To me, that's just irresponsible. Again, thanks for your help!
Hi Buddy, I know this is not the right place to ask this question, but believe me, I searched for a solution for my problem everywhere. And this is related to 7-zip archiving software. 7-zip was working fine for me all theses last few months since I installed it. But now, it does not allow me to modify any .zip archives. It comes up with the error "not implemented" while trying to insert or delete any file(s) from any .zip archive using 7-zip. Have you ever faced this issue? I have searched 7-zip forums and the official site for any clue. They all discuss about removal of "solid mode" for .7z format, nothing for .zip format.
I am asking you since you are using archiver on a daily basis and perhaps you have some experience with 7-zip... Please point me to some solution, if you can...
Well at the moment I'm using winrar and winmount. I've also tried 7zip portable version and it didn't give me any issues modifying zips. Did you maybe try unistalling 7zip and reinstalling it? Other than that at the moment I don't know a solution, will look around for any info I may find.

Hi, thanks for the feed back. I think my issue was specific to one particular file. I upgraded my 7-zip to the latest beta and was able to edit some other zip files, and not this one. And yet, I am able to modify even this file using winrar. My concern with 7-zip started when it failed to let me modify a zip file which I was able to, before.

Currently we have Three Custom Recovery For Our Device Those are:

I Prefer Clock Work Mod Recovery (CWMR) as i tested it on canvas a120 and working perfectly.
INSTALLING recovery.img
Step1: Just Download MOBILE UNCLE TOOLS from Play Store.
Step2: Copy and paste the recovery.img(the recovery name should be in small letters or else it will not detect.) to the root of the EXT-SD CARD.
Step3: Go to Mobileuncle Tools Grant acess if you are opening for the first time.
Step4: Then Navigate to RECOVERY UPDATE..
Step5: You will see recovery.img at the top of the screen, Just tap the recovery.img, It will ask for confirmation tap OK, and it will ask to reboot into recovery - Tap OK.
If you have sucessfuly installed u will be inside the Clock Work Mod Recovery after rebooting.
Just Navigate to Backup and Restore and take BACKUP of the Current Status of your phone.

Please follow the below steps to enable or check wether your rom has init,d support
1. Download the file from here
2. Extract the file, you will get a file named 00test. DO NOT flash!
3. Paste it into System/etc/init.d. If there is no init.d folder, most probably you DO NOT have init.d support. However, if you still wanna try, just create the folder named "init.d"
4. Change the permissions of the init.d folder and 00test into rwxrwxrwx(Read/Write).
5. Reboot.
6. If you see a file named Test.log in System/data, you have init.d support. If not, you will have to run Universal init.d
I have tested many mods and tweaks but many of them are not working properly, i tested Xtweks(Working), TweakDrypt(Working), PurePerformaanceX(Not working) and will be updating as i test more... Please take backup before doing anything

The XDA community is made up of some human beings like you and me and they all have some sort of phones which are made by sam, sony, lg and they all release stock rom and their own kerenel which makes the developers easy to make custom rom and many other mods, kernel etc...and one of the biggest thing is that the phones like mmx, lava, karbonn and many are having Medi Tek Soc's inbuilt which makes developing a litle bit tougher....

Currently we have Two Custom Recovery For Our Device Those are:

I Prefer Clock Work Mod Recovery (CWMR) as i tested it on canvas a120 and working perfectly.
INSTALLING recovery.img
Step1: Just Download MOBILE UNCLE TOOLS from Play Store.
Step2: Copy and paste the recovery.img(the recovery name should be in small letters or else it will not detect.) to the root of the EXT-SD CARD.
Step3: Go to Mobileuncle Tools Grant acess if you are opening for the first time.
Step4: Then Navigate to RECOVERY UPDATE..
Step5: You will see recovery.img at the top of the screen, Just tap the recovery.img, It will ask for confirmation tap OK, and it will ask to reboot into recovery - Tap OK.
If you have sucessfuly installed u will be inside the Clock Work Mod Recovery after rebooting.
Just Navigate to Backup and Restore and take BACKUP of the Current Status of your phone.
#3AVAILABLE CUSTOM ROM
There is only one custom rom for this phone and its the ported verson of the COLOR OS made for OPPO Phones....... This is too developed by akashujjainkar
Just download the COLOR OS, Paste it in your EXT-SD,
1. Boot into Recovery

heating problem is due to kernel, you can flash the custom rom of myphone rio (clone of A120) google it, heat problem will be solved. or wait for micromax official firmware update.............

i will check & confirm........, but i dont think the auto brightness will do something, as it is problem of proximity sensor, which keeps on during the call............& dint respond back........

yes i have flash that rom & now there is no heating issue in my phone........... Kernal is of different version in Myphone rio rom..........
so heating problem is of kernel which micromax has provided.............
earlier the temperature of my phone goes to 44 degree C & now after flashing myphone rio stock rom, temperature goes maximum to 39 to 40 degree C with heavy gaming..............

Yes, but only while gaming and that is normal for any phone
This is Easy Root Tool for various Xperia devices (first developed for Z1 Compact). It's almost one-click root. The tool should work on Windows, Linux and Mac. Bootloader is untouched! No data is being wiped.

Did you use the SuperSU from market? Because it's a known issue this SuperSU can not update binary. Use latest one from here: http://download.chainfire.eu/447/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r4.zip

No. This does not touch bootloader. It's recommend to backup DRM keys after rooting with this method.

Coming from kk you would need to flash the lollipop bootloader or stock lollipop rom already on lollipop just wipe and do a clean install remember it take some time to boot.

I doubt this is something you've done but I'm getting a big battery drain from Android System and Android OS on this and the stock deodexed version of the XAR lollipop release.

I checked out the thread, thanks. But my suspicion is that it's something with the U.S. ROM, since I didn't have to do any of those things on the Korean, Brazilian or Saudi Arabian ROM, or TW Detox lol. So we'll see what happens I guess..

Charge my tablet to 100 % and after 7 1/2 hrs it's at 97 % only lose 3 % so that's not bad. Make sure the playstore or no apk is running in the background, let the battery go through a couple of charge cycle then charge it to 100 % and do a battery calibration to clean the batterystats it's should improve after a couple of cycles .

That's definitely not bad! Another guy in the lollipop thread was having the same issue on the US firmware so it isn't just me... but that would be cool if it settled in like that!
Quick question, I flashed this rom to check it out. I was coming from a stock lollipop rom and already had the lp bootloader. Rom booted with no problem and ran for a entire day with no issues. However I decided to remove some apps, knoxs being apart of that, again no problem however I booted into recovery and wiped dalvik cache but when I rebooted I got a systems Stop error. This continued several times til I got a couple of reboots followed by a logo freeze. I decided after manually booting into recovery failed odin back to stock firmware now tabs boots to same logo screen and freezes. I can boot to download mode but recovery is still a no go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You need to Odin either TWRP or Philz tar version. Uncheck Auto-Reboot in Odin before installing it. Then after it's installed, unplug and go immediately in to your recovery by rebooting into Download mode, but as soon as the screen comes on, slide your finger from volume down to volume up. Believe me, was stuck in your situation myself.

(b). Q: Where can I get flashable recovery?
The two available recoveries for Sprint GS5 are TWRP and Philz. Both can be found ->HERE<-. The .tar file(s) must be installed with Odin. Zip files are flashed in your present custom recovery. Older versions included, in most cases you'll want to install the latest version. In addtion, @ktoonsez KT TWRP v2.8.2.0 (or newer) is available ->HERE<-.
Note: If Odin link for v3.10 not working, here's alternate.

Continue to hold Pwr and Home buttons until it boots into recovery.
Damn booting in recovery on this thing is a *****.....
