This is a possible solution! I say possible because it works for most users, but you might be an exeption. Only way to know for sure, is to flash it in cwm recovery.
If the problem remains, you should remove your Google account, wipe data for Phone.apk and Contacts.apk, reboot and create Google account again.
Another option is to open Contacts app, in the Menu press Import/Export, choose Export and save the *.vcf file. You then delete all your contacts and import the saved *:vcf file back. Similar can be done with other apps: like TitaniumBackup, Go Backup etc.
Removers
These flashable zip files will delete all instances of apps and mods. This way you don't have to full wipe your phone or reinstall a rom.
Note: None of developers' scripts have been changed in making the removers.

1. Please wipe chache & dalvik cache after you flash the mod to avoid complications.
2. In case you have any force closes of other audio mods (like DSP manager), just reflash them.
3. If you still don't hear camera sounds, remove them from /system/media/audio/ui and flash or push them again, followed by a reboot.

Change CSC
With this method you can set your service provider's CSC (Customer Sales Code) without a full wipe. Similar can be done directly on your phone by using an app (search Google Play), but your phone will be factory reset.
I used DBT csc as an example, because it has feature.xml. Most other csc folders do not, so you can simply copy them as described in the video.
This guide is suitable for any rom, providing you have multi-csc option.
How to copy .obb files to your phone
This video is for anybody, who receives an error when copying .obb files from PC to /Android/obb folder in S3. Apparently it is a 4.2 Android issue and here is how you do it:

Well mate i opened the folder of INU csc n it doesnt contain any file named feature.xml. so how can i change my csc to inu before flashing?

Don't worry about feature.xml, you already have it on your phone. Simply drag system folder from INU to the root of the opened zip. Then flash the rom with no wipe.

I installed pimp my beats on omega v40 n now no option to remove it. Just found it's nothing but a modded version of dsp eqializer

You can flash pimp my rom rescue package, it should remove beats tweaks, but you will also lose other settings you made. Hopefully I will make a remover only for beats later today.

Tried rescue package mate, but didn't helped.
Edit: tried transparent status bar from vegeta's thread but I guess it isn't updated for omega v40, didn't worked at all. Worked fine for v39 though. Can you provide any flashable zip for 100% system transparency bro?

Yup mate tried from same thread by vegeta. First installed systemui.apk then 100% transparency mod. But didn't worked at all. Didn't tried the other thread though.

You're becoming quite the uninstaller here. Thanks for all your help around here. I hate it when devs leave users hanging without an uninstaller. To me, that's just irresponsible. Again, thanks for your help!
Hi Buddy, I know this is not the right place to ask this question, but believe me, I searched for a solution for my problem everywhere. And this is related to 7-zip archiving software. 7-zip was working fine for me all theses last few months since I installed it. But now, it does not allow me to modify any .zip archives. It comes up with the error "not implemented" while trying to insert or delete any file(s) from any .zip archive using 7-zip. Have you ever faced this issue? I have searched 7-zip forums and the official site for any clue. They all discuss about removal of "solid mode" for .7z format, nothing for .zip format.
I am asking you since you are using archiver on a daily basis and perhaps you have some experience with 7-zip... Please point me to some solution, if you can...
Well at the moment I'm using winrar and winmount. I've also tried 7zip portable version and it didn't give me any issues modifying zips. Did you maybe try unistalling 7zip and reinstalling it? Other than that at the moment I don't know a solution, will look around for any info I may find.

Hi, thanks for the feed back. I think my issue was specific to one particular file. I upgraded my 7-zip to the latest beta and was able to edit some other zip files, and not this one. And yet, I am able to modify even this file using winrar. My concern with 7-zip started when it failed to let me modify a zip file which I was able to, before.

Procedure -
1) Download this file and place it in your sd card.
2) Make sure you have ClockWorkMod recovery 5 (or any other recovery
based on CWM5 such as PX Recovery) installed and your device is rooted.
Download CWM 5 from here -

3) Switch off your phone.
4) Boot into recovery mode by pressing home+power button simultaneously.
5) Wipe Data, Wipe Cache

The Galaxy NOTE Lockscreen make me feel like want this ROM so badly. But, is there anyway to port the SGSII v5 of adrenoace team's music player to this ROM? Music player with beats and drop down notification control.

i dnt think it would work. i just tried an XWKT7 theme (it may be an older version of that theme, not sure) and it didnt work. the framework is not compatible.
but you can always make a nand backup and try

Yes it's auto, but if you wanna move dalvik, u have to use the command. Better still, install A2SDGUI from market for easier control.

No themes yet, hoping to get some soon, according to tj_droid. Battery life: see screenshot. Not bad I think at night I put it to airplain mode, but I used it normally, maybe a bit heavier than avarege. 12% is almost good.

I don't use that mod, but I remember, that there's no fix. UOT kitchen must work, just watch out for the settings. For me it worked.
Is there an option to enable push email? Cuz mine isnt working.

Bhu1, This ROM has been great. Only difference noted was not quite a good of battery life as v2.2. But other than that..this baby rocks at 1500 Mhz..stable and smooth.

In the third post, it says, "OTA won't work if havent flashed OTA FIX PATCH WHICH IS PROVIDED IN OP". However, I don't see that patch addressed in the first post.
Perhaps I'm just missing it, but what is the patch?

Actually, I added glitch cause I don't really know about cappy kernels. Which is famous and which isn't. Also anish suggested me to use glitch and its the same that is used in official builds of aokp so we used glitch. U can surely try other kernels.

About
The ThemeMachine is a theming tool, which makes it easier to port a theme.
Its writen in batch and executeable on every Windows since XP.
What it does is told easy but wasn´t that easy to implement.
It copies all PNG-files (this includes .9.png) from one APK into another one, preconditioned the file exists in the destination APK.
You´re interested in the complete process of the tool? Take a look in the attached flowchart or click here.
Preparation
Be aware you have cmd and powershell on your PC (which are both components of every Windows since XP)
Download the attached file or click here and extract it to any place you want. E.g. like this:
Get a BASE and a THEME APK. Both have to be deodexed.
BASE: Its an APK that you want to theme with the contents of the THEME apk. That could be the framework-res.apk that you currently use.
THEME: Its an APK that contains the theme that you want to copy. That could be the framework-res.apk of CM7.2 for Motorola defy.
Using it the right way
Navigate to the folder where you´ve extracted the archive. Enter the folder and you´ll see a foldercontent like this:
Double click on "start.cmd" to execute the batch script.
Drag&drop the first file, the BASE apk, into the window.
Exactly do the same with the second file, the THEME apk.
Now the script will do its best to get a good theme out of it.
You also get some infos in the window. For example the info how much files got copied (see picture below)
At the end of the script when it shows "Press any key to get into folder that contains the new file"
press a any key on your keyboard then the explorer will opens the folder with your new themed APK.
Example / Result
I´m using MotoSwitchUI 2.0 on my Motorola XT615 (a.k.a Motoluxe) with Gingerbread on it.
Sadly we don´t have more options like using CM because of locked bootloader.
In my opinion you can´t make a GUI more ugly then the MotoSwitchUI :laugh:
So i thought.. well i can´t make it worser.. so i decided to theme it with the AOSP/CM-Style.
First i´ve downloaded CM7.2 for Motorola Defy. So i remain on the same API-Level, which means more compatible filenames.
Further i have the same imagesizes in this szenario: HDPI.
Files i´ve used: Framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk, Browser.apk, Settings.apk, DeskClock.apk, DownloadProviderUI.apk, Email.apk, Mms.apk, Music.apk, Phone.apk, SettingsProvider.apk
As BASE i´ve used my stock files from MotoSwitchUI and as THEME the files out of CM7.2 for defy.
After theming them with ThemeMachine + about 10 .xmls edits + using launcher of CM7.2 (which suprisingly works fine) i reached the following result.
And gess me thats not all You should see the rest!
Tips
APKs share their PNGs with other APKs. Most used: framework-res.apk.
To get a good copy of a theme its a must to theme it too.
As theme-APK you should use a APK with the same API-level as the base-APK.
Reason for this: APKs with the same API-Level most likely have the same PNG-filenames.
As theme-APK you should use a APK with the same Android image size (xdpi, hdpi,...)

well I think that you Will need a deodexed Rom.
You MUST use same resolution, unless you will need to resize images
And you can port what theme you want. But porting from a stock rom maybe will not create a perfect theme because stock rom often have anoter xxx-res.apk file in framework folder - for example, on a stock lg rom you find lge-res.apk in /system/framework, and in there there is a lot of lg UI. But you can try. (I don't know for other phones. I read that this branded file usually exsist, but I'm sure of this only on gingerbread and froyo).
Is it useable with MIUI? I mean, may I port miui ui to CM using this tool?

In example i´ve discriped in the startpost i´ve used a stock rom.
So.. yes you´re also able to theme stock roms.
But producer may take other filenames, which could bring some "incompatibility".
That don´t means, the ThemeMachine messes up your phone its just not able to replace the file its meant for.
It worked perfectly on my motorola so maybe you can tell me how it worked on other phones

2. The only thing i know in touchwiz based roms is that there exists a "TwWallpaperChooser.apk" which contains some parts of the framework-res.apk. Please correct me if i´m wrong! But i guess it should work, like on my phone Just take a look at the number of replaced files in the process. The closer number the better theme So you´ll easily see if its gettin a good theme

I´m not that familar to MIUI. But i know that MIUI is based on CM so they shoud.. no they must use the same filenames, which means they should have a high compatibility.

Just to clarify that it only changes the .png if it exists in the same dir correct. So if there was a new .png added it won't get copied correct. Then you have the 1% battery mod that can exist in either the res/drawable-hdpi or res/drawable-xhdpi is there an option to select and copy files to a different dir. I'm downloading the app now to test but a few questions/suggestions. Maybe an advanced option to over ride stock settings.

No.. signing is not required.
It adds the contents from theme archive to the Base apk which should be signed already.

Your warranty is now void, don't blame me if your phone blows up blahblahblah. Make sure to have latest TWRP as well (current: 3.0.2-1). Should have removed encryption as well.
BACKUP! Both Stock and Ultra have the untouched stock kernel, so if you want color control you need to flash one of the kernels below after ROM.
*If you run into error 7 while flashing, just restart TWRP and flash again.
ROM Info:
Only system and kernel are being flashed, no Modem, BL, etc.
Based off of 20A Complete zip from @autoprime. Only things touched are bootanimation (pixel black), removed poweron.ogg & it has also been zip-aligned.
Flash in recovery, wipe cache/dalvik(art), profit??
SuperSu and Busybox included. Only /system is wiped, data left alone.
Can dirty flash over current 20A if you like.
Any errors, etc, would be related to deodexing, as all files are stock.- Haven't had any problems myself.

If you've already upgraded to N (20a), then yes.

Remove "rootzip" & "busybox" folders before patching/flashing.
P.S. If you haven't already updated to N(20A) it may not boot regardless.

Yeah it didn't boot, I'm still in MM because of xposed. How much of a trouble is to replicate this deodexed rom but on 10j?

You can take the system.img and boot.img from either the kdz with LG Firmware Extractor or from autoprime complete zip.
Then you need to Google "superR kitchen xda", if your using windows there is a VM iso in the thread you can use with VirtualBox etc.
Once you have the kitchen working just remember to use smali for deodexing when it asks and don't sign the zip or let it remove the meta-inf folders from apps, again it will ask.
Once its built, remove the assert from the very top of the updater-script.
Hope you figure it out. If not, maybe tomorrow I can whip it up for ya.

I installed autoprime's 10j complete zip as secondary and it booted fine, unfortunately I couldn't pass safetynet I guess it has something to do with modifying the boot partition, oh well. I'll install your zip as soon as xposed for nougat becomes available.

Nah it works fine if I don't touch anything ( i.e. root, dm verity, encryption, xposed, etc.) and leave 100% stock even when bootloader is unlocked
Update: added separate flashable "Modded NotSoStock" kernel.

[*]SAVE the patch zip somewhere, tap to CHECK/TICK button on the corner to patch it,
[*]MENU > ROMs > tap to Red FLOATING BUTTON on the bottom and select ADD PATCHED FILE > Select the zip you patched like: XXX.rom_data-slot_xxx.zip
[*] An annoying popup will ask some stuff, tap to CHANGE LOCATION > DATA SLOT, type an ID doesnt matter what,
[*] Tap to TICK, it will run an command window or some old looking arse stuff and you have to wait, DO NOT LEAVE the app until you see the script result like this:

[*] If you see an error, you're fk'd up Error is a new terror you know. Although it doesn't prevent you to boot; you better clean the f'n infected rom by ROMs > 3 dot button of the specific rom > WIPE ROM and select all the boxes.
[*] You can switch between the roms you patcher either in the app or flashing the Dualboot Utilities zip via TWRP.
Ps. I'll take a look at the flashing Gapps, mod zips for specific rom later on, probably easy to do. For now it's enough internet for me today.
[*]Yeah, flashed Gapps, Kernel etc by just Patching a zip file like Gapps-full.xxx_data-slot-xxx.zip which means you have to patch zip by selecting your target(Select your set ID for your rom).
NOTE: Resurrection Remix rom has got a modem verification string inside the updater-script, you can't(I couldn't) flash it until you remove that string and re-compress the rom zip as so then patch it or you already doing this multi booting process on RR rom. My primary rom is MM Epic, I succesfully booted into 8.2.4.0 Global stable and RR 0714(latest official i presume) roms, just saying.
SIDE NOTE: Can't get root to work on RR rom. The included magisk, previous versions, DX kernel, SuperSU nothing worked. What a pain in the arse.

The app is being biatch most of the times. Latest version never worked on my end, always crashed. But the version i've stated in the OP, the one which also crashes sometimes, but works generally. Clean cache and data of the app, uninstall and reinstall, before launching it, give the permissions it needs from app settings. Launch it, grant root permission, if does work; follow the steps of OP. It may crash once though, close the app from recents and re-launch. There is a reason of I call it a pain in the arse lol. Hopefully works.

I think it's depending on the base rom (Globe ROM). This rom has kernel mods and others system mods.

My primary is Epic 7.5.4(MM), has got some mods as yours. I see that the original thread is filled with crash reports but there is no(i didnt see) proper fix rather than using an another version but you've already tried, so.. Perhaps you can see the culprit though crash log.

I presume you're doing this on your device. Here is some visual content that may help you.
After Extracting(unzipping) remove script that mentioned before and:
Some file explorers don't need zip to be extracted, you can edit the content as you wish but, in my experience these explorers corrupt the zip. The clear way is what i just sent [emoji106]

Hello gents, I don't like bragging like ''I was right...'' but I was
I've removed (Wiped in Dual boot patcher app) all the roms except primary(can't be removed lol).
Then clean flashed RR latest official, I have root priviledges on it(also xposed), then patched and flashed miui_MIMIXGlobal_V8.2.4.0.MAHMIDL which is not pre-rooted miui rom.
So, patched SR2-SuperSU v2.79 and flashed it too. Voila, both roms are running with root priviledges. So the key was being on clean flashed RR rom then patching multi-boot roms. Thing i may try next is xposed on both(or multiple) roms but for now i can sleep in peace lol.
