Will the phone recovered, using sp flash tools, if bricked?
Also, it's compiled with mt6620 as

there is a big chance of bootloop but that can be recovered by flashing any rom or replace boot.img in provided zip by stock boot image and flash that.

Hey bro, I've flashed the zip file and as u expected, bootloop is there. I've attached the logcat and I'm using Pure Xperia Z2 by BGos10. Also, I compared the Kernel u provided, it is quite larger in size as compared to that exist in custom roms.
Thanx again for initiative, Good Luck Bro

hm.. thanks for trying, but we can't go any further because of unavailability of Kernel Sources. We are trying to find any Clone device which has kernel sources, if you got any feel free to tell me.

I noticed that last two files in the zip are quite large

Pawtip for recent help on ril.
I thank nikademus for creating the kernel for us in first place.
And a general thanks to the rest of the people in this thread that helped in this.
AFAIK the boot.img for SGS is different from boot.img of other phones. To decompile boot.img dsixda kitchen is used. It gives an error for our phones when we try to extract the contents of boot.img "Android header not found"...the file doesn't get extracted. Thats the problem.
May be a decent developer can guide us at this point??

Actually we need the ramdisk file from boot.img. And forr galaxy S the kernel in not inside boot.img as we can see in every rom we have.
Unless theres a way to edit this boot.img...we're stuck.
Nobody?

the phone is quite similar to the GT-i9000 or at least the Nexus S right ?
so it should be achievable
we need a central github repo [preferrably in an organization] for kernel sources, etc.
Well this sounds exciting

well, i have spoken with nikademus, he made a specific kernel for this, gonna test now, later i post a link with boot.img for another dev to test the rom...

[TUTORIAL][STEP-BY-STEP][TEXT EDITION]How to install a custom ROM on Xperia arc/S

Hello, guys! A lot of people asked me how to flash custom ROMs on Xperia arc/S since I am the developer of Jelly Sandwich. Always I offered them a self-written guide (guide, tutorial - call it as you want). They were very glad of it. So... I thought, it would be great if I share the tutorial, so other people will be able to use them without asking me in private message. The tutorial I'm sharing with you is in .txt format. The ROM example in the guide is Arconium ICS, but if you don't want to flash that, just swap Arconium with other ROM you would like to use.

I have 3 question i followed your guide and its great, however i want to change kernel because arc knight is draining too much battery.
1)How to change a kernel should i just flash it with fastboot (follow step 3 to 11) or there is a different procedure?
2)What is the best kernel for Arconium 4.0 to get good battery life without overclock?
I think its this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1680793, but correct me if im wrong....
3) Should i wipe something before or after i flash kernel and will i lose my data and apps?

1. Fastboot is the only possibility
2. XArc by Sirkay
3. Make backup with Titanium from Store, wipe everything and restore after installation.

Porting MIUI v5 to N7105 - seasoned flasher with actual "cojones of steel" required!!
Ok guys, I own a Note 2 N7100, but my wife's N7105 in on it's way.. I have spent the last 3 days reading, reading and reading guide after guide about porting roms and miui roms so I'm pretty sure I've got all bases covered!
I have modified MyMiui v5 by aminalmo from the At&T thread..
I'm uploading it now, would really appreciate if a real dev could take an interest in this to take over and do it "properly"..
Here's the link, obviously flash only if you take ALL responsibility for doing so!
But please report back!!!!!!!
So, who's adventurous enough?

No. It is not possible, unless you have unlocked bootloader or you want to hard flash it to flash chip like Danik (MS2Ginger developer).
