After updating my N4 to 4.3, whenever i record a video, my camera app freezes when i click the button to stop recording, the after a few minutes, i get the, "unfortunately, gallery has stopped working" message, and half the time it doesnt actually save the video i just recorded. Anyone else know how to fix this???

Update to Kitkat build.
Is it just 4.3 that has a bug with the camera and gallery?

I'm facing this weird problem.
I can't play videos from Manila or album, when I click on the video nothing happens, when I shoot a video everything seems normal except I can't play it. It's thumbnail shows normally in the stack of photos but clicking it does nothing.
Any idea what may be the problem (tried SR, hopping to fix avoiding a HR)

Flashed a 4.4.4 Rom, i have tried clean installed 3 other roms since then and the problem still persists.
Gallery: opening video causes the gallery to crash
Music Players: Attempting to play music causes it to crash
Youtube: "there was a problem while playing touch to retry "
App to test audio buffer size : crashes
Dialer : after number is dialed waits 30s then opens then crashes.
Camera: will take photos however will not take video.
I suspect it has to do with audio codecs.
Any ideas to what the problem would be?

Everytime I try to watch a snap that contains video, even my own story, Snapchat gives me an error reading "Cannot play video without an SD card". I can still record video snaps and send them off, just can't view them. Anyone experiencing something similar or know what the problem is?
I've seen references to this elsewhere but looking for ideas.
Load camera app, move to video, click the icon for 120 or 240fps. Record video
Video plays back at full speed with a feint "Unable to load video" over lay.
Any ideas? Am I misunderstanding it? I have rebooted and problem still exists. I swear it worked at one point in the past but I haven't really used it.
Hey, somehow I can't use Video function in camera, WhatsApp or other cameras like Google Camera, but slowmo video does work and in Snapchat videos also works. Any idea?
In camera app the option button and so on are greyed out when I'm in video mode. In WhatsApp i.e. I get the error that it can't connect to the cam.
I'm on grossoshop's 20s.

Clear cache from recovery. Then go to app manager and clear data of Camera app.
Did this problem happen suddenly or right from the start when u were using grossoshop's rom. It maybe the rom-related issue.
Didnt help, some camera apps work and some not, really strange. I don't know since when I have this bug as I'm not using the video mode in camera app usually
Now I acknowledged that the microphone also is blocked. Something is blocking video and audio recording. I tried removing all permissions from apps of microphone and just kept Recorder permission on - still says "used by another app". But just saying something works like Ok Google (with permission for sure). Online recording isn't working.
