Camera Bug - Photo/Slowmo/Snapchat works, normal Video doesn't - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hey, somehow I can't use Video function in camera, WhatsApp or other cameras like Google Camera, but slowmo video does work and in Snapchat videos also works. Any idea?
In camera app the option button and so on are greyed out when I'm in video mode. In WhatsApp i.e. I get the error that it can't connect to the cam.
I'm on grossoshop's 20s.

Clear cache from recovery. Then go to app manager and clear data of Camera app.
Did this problem happen suddenly or right from the start when u were using grossoshop's rom. It maybe the rom-related issue.

Didnt help, some camera apps work and some not, really strange. I don't know since when I have this bug as I'm not using the video mode in camera app usually

Now I acknowledged that the microphone also is blocked. Something is blocking video and audio recording. I tried removing all permissions from apps of microphone and just kept Recorder permission on - still says "used by another app". But just saying something works like Ok Google (with permission for sure). Online recording isn't working.

Video recording not working in stock camera

When I attempted to record video with the stick camera app, I get an error saying "Cannot start video capture."
I haven't unlocked my bootloader, and I haven't done any unusual customizations.
Video does work in the Google camera app.
Trying to take a picture with the stock camera app using the front-facing camera crashes the app.

Camera failing to record

So earlier I installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/themes-apps/equalizer-dsp-manager-note-4-t3171875 this equalizer, but it seems like the DSP.zip messed up my cameras. I can't record on the default app or Snapchat, but I can take pictures just fine. Any help?

How to Record HD audio and take pictures?

Hey guys,
Got my V20 a few weeks ago and enjoying every day so far. I had a short question.. Let's say I'm at a presentation or class I want to record using the HD Audio Recorder app, and at the same time, I would like to take some pictures.
Any idea what to do? The HD audio recording stops recording once I take a picture..
No buddy has a solution?
Maybe try split screen?

HD Audio Recorder gives a msg claiming that Multi Window is not supported
Maybe a separate camera app.
Camera app requires access to camera and microphone which prevent another audio recording app to use the mic. My suggestion is, if you really needs it, try recording video and taking pictures at the same time. later you can split the audio from the video.
I tried to find out solution for that , but nothing worked for me not without root .
U cant use camera and record audio at the same time
U cant play music on the background and record audio at the same time too

DVR app with USB camera settings?

Does anybody have an Android DVR application (.apk) that would be able to change settings of the connected USB camera? I'd like to change resolution from currently recorded 640x480 videos to 1280×720, but the stock DVR app does not have any option to set the resolution.
Attached picture: When I tap on the icon between video camera and photo camera (three horizontal stripes), just a list of recorded videos opens, nothing more, no camera settings.
The USB-connected camera actually behaves as some kind of standard integrated camera. I tried around 10-15 video recording apps from the Google Play Store and just one was able to record video and set the 720p resolution: RoadAR. Some apps did not detect the camera, some detected the camera but showed just black screen, some showed actually the moving picture but were unable to record it.
BTW I have Sofia 3GR processor unit with Android 5.1.1.
I have a problem that most apps see my usb camera , but they show it reversed(ie like a mirror)
But when I go into recordings the image is the correct way round?

I think it is a camera problem .
I had the same problem too .
The camera you have is designed to work for the back of your car .
Search for a camera with front view (Not Rear View Camera or Reversing)

Video recording does not work on Android 9.0 pie stable

I used the vpn trick to update to android pie and have magisk installed. Everything works fine, 4g wifi etc. However, I noticed in the stock camera app video recording does not work. I can take pictures both on front and rear cam. When I enabled hyperlapse or slowmo, it can record video but never when those features are not enabled. I tried installing Open Camera from playstore (an opensource camera software) and tried to record video with that app but still nothing. It says "Failed to record video". I recently also enabled camera2api and installed gcam and it can take pictures but not record video. Weird thing is that I tried capturing video on Facebook Messenger and it worked. Video recording works on messenger but not on camera apps?? Did anyone experience this or is it just me?
Try to record video without audio in Open camera. If it works, download Cinema FV camera app and try different audio codec. It happened to me on Oreo, I couldn't find the reason. Once the full ROM has been released by Xiaomi, I reflashed it and video started to work in all apps again. Maybe something went wrong during OTA update, hard to tell. All I know is that it messed up with audio codecs and I had to use another as the default one to be able to record video with sound.

Hmm you're right the problem is with the audio. I tried open camera and disabled audio and it worked. I also followed your suggestion and installed cinema fv camera app and tried all the different codecs but it still doesn't work. It works though if I disable audio completely. Maybe I'll just wait for the new security patch to come.
I just found my old post, this codec in Cinema FV worked for me when I had the recording issue - "AAC-ELD".
