I'm in Canada at the moment so thinking of seeing if I can pick one up whilst here that covers the EE bands sim free as it'll be much cheaper. Will have to see how availability is!

SIM-free:
£549.95 from Carphone Warehouse, doesn't say which model it is http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/htc/one-m8?intcmp=HPMini3_HTCOneM8ctaesales_250314
£529.95 from Phones4U, 16GB model http://www.phones4u.co.uk/htc/one/m8/silver?intcid=hero1_htc_one_m8_250314

I prefer Sim-free however its better to wait at that price. Can't justify buying M8 when really its quite a relatively small update over the M7 imo.

Just ordered a SIM Free HTC One M8 in Gunmetal Grey from Carphone Warehouse. Should be here tomorrow.

Isn't Phones4U cheaper at £529.95?

I thought I read somewhere Three were going to get the handset today, but not available on their website yet.

EE (UK) — The 4G-centric network will have the M8 on sale online and via telesales tomorrow, March 26, and in stores on March 27. Customers buying on a £37.99/pm "Extra" plan (£29.99 upfront cost) before April 10 will receive twice the amount of data of EE’s standard 4G plans — taking their monthly limit up to 4GB — for the duration of their contract. To sweeten the deal, EE is also offering customers who buy online between March 28 and April 10 free return flights to one of 12 European destinations.

It's up on Clove to order.

Has anyone had any experiences with buying from Mobile Fun before? Just found this offer, and i'm up for paying the £50 Extra for the 32GB model if indeed it is genuine.
Just wondering if they've listed 32GB as an accident? Possibly...

Bought plenty of accessories, never a phone. Always been fine, though

why do handtec and clove not have 32gb anywhere but in US almost all the models sold are 32gb?

Liking the look of it.
Tried sense 6 on my M7 and im liking that too, never been a massive fan of sense!
Can I justify forking out the cash to update. Undecided! :/

i just walked into phones4u and got one tonight

I've had experience when the One X+ came out that there were barely any 32gb versions available in the UK. I think it must be a conspiracy?! Lol
I have the M7 and want the M8

Yeah. I'm going there to get mine tomorrow too....can't wait ? still can't understand why we only get the 16GB edition though.
Reminds me of the HTC HD2. US got the 1GB version, while the UK only got 512MB versions.

How much did you pay for your SGS i9000?

Did you get it with the carrier & sign a contract? or Purchased it unlocked?
Personally i got mine for $650 directly 16GB version, i hate phone carriers contracts
I've read some people seems to have paid less even without carriers.
on ebay the average price for the 16GB version is around $750
Mine is going to cost me about £500 in total on an 18 month contract with 600 mins, texts and data.
$550 shipped to the US
There already was a topic about this thing,
I payed ~390 euro (500$) for mine.
380£ for the i9000 8GB version+8GB SD card.
It's so much fun not having to pay VAT. lol.
It depends which version.
The smaller 8GB ones are in the $500-550 range nowadays.
The larger 16GB version goes for about $120-$170 more.
I paid almost $800 delivered for my 16GB
I like the larger storage, since I used to have sporadic corruption with SD cards in WM, and from what I read Android is not exempt from these, either. I want peace of mind when I am on the road and don't have a backup.
£280 all in (inclusive of VAT) with a third party seller on a really crappy contract, but I already have a contract with T-Mobile which I'm now using in the SGS. Mine is an unlocked, unbranded 8gb stock phone, so free of carrier crap too.
Dialaphone - £20pm 18mth O2 contact, downgradeable at month 9 to £15pm, plus I got £35 cashback by going through TCB. The O2 contract is really crap - 100 minutes, unlimited texts and no data allowance, but £280 for a stock SGS is damn good. They stopped doing the O2 deal earlier this week, though.
€ 380 for the 8GB version, no contract. Not paying VAT is nice.
£410 at Carphone Warehouse, SIM free and unlocked.
£355 from o2 unlocked, to get it you have to already have been with o2 for about 6 months I think and then you can ask to purchase a phone from them (i.e. say im unhappy with current phone but dont want to affect contract) this wasn't the best deal by a long way (desire £285) but i wanted this phone.
Damn, Holland is expensive.
16GB with 200minutes/400texts/unlimited data for 2 years at 650€

Ebay USD 568 with free shipping.
Thanks
Free on AUD$49/month that comes with $420 worth of call/text and 500MB of data with free youtube/facebook/myspace/twitter
This is for a 16GB unlocked SGS
Free on £45 (inc VAT) for 18 months, 900 Minutes, Unlimited Texts and 1GB Data, also 1GB BT Openzone Usage.
I got mine on upgrade on T-Mobile for £10 on a 24 month £20p/m contract with £180 credit to use on mobile/international/0845/voicemail, unlimited texts and unlimited internet.
It's completely unbranded - box/splash screens etc.

How much was your X10?

Thought it would be interesting to see who got the best deal when they bought their phone. Post The price of your phone, any bonuses you got with it, the location you bought it and the approximate date you purchased it
I personally got mine at Best Buy for $49.99 on a 3 year contract with a bonus $75 Best Buy gift card and (he said) a free 16gb micro-sd card. Pretty sure all phones come with the SD cards though since it was already in the phone upon unboxing.
Now you!
it was 9k pesos and that's around 750 dlls
Free on a 15 pound ultd contract 24 month =)
Benifits on being on a staff contract with o2. Shame its a 2 year contract though. Had phone since realses in Europe. had 3 replacements
Mine in malaysia rm 1550.00. Us around 4+

I traded a month-old iPhone 3GS for mine. The choice was either this or the Desire (non-hd). After 6 months of heavy use I'm glad I chose the X10. It's got an old version of Android with some small issues but the screen and design more than makes up for it imo.
The streetprice now here in Sweden is about 400€ which is slightly overpriced, I'd put it at 300-350.

$637.00 AUD From "3" HK Network
Bought a new N900 for $350, traded it for a x10 after three weeks.
$650
+tax
Free, 3 years contract, Rogers Canada
NO Contract Its white X10a branded to rogers works on the US att. Got it for $520 around June.
Happy with it.
Purchased on eBay from a guy in Canada.
$50, and a $50 mail in rebate, so basically free. Upgraded through Rogers, didn't need to get a new plan or anything.
I definitely didn't feel like spending another $500+ on an unlocked phone

How much did you pay for your's in the UK

Just wanting to know how much you paid for your nexus 7 and where you bought it from, I was reading prices on reviews from £159 but couldn't find any at that price or even near.
That's for the 8 Gig version. 16 Gig is £199 from CPW. I haven't got a clue (nor do I care) if it's available at a lower price elsewhere.
I paid £189.99 with a code from Tesco.

I paid £189 from tesco plus 200 clubcard points (so effectively £20 back at a later date)
HMV do it for £199, and if you are a student (or former student as they never remove the discount from their website) you can get it at 20% off so £179.99.

oh your right, not sure what I was thinking, however with the club-card exchange you still get lots back
£199 - from PC world
They were 'sold out' - however I popped in to ask when they were getting any more - and the guys said a member of staff was bringing his pre order back..
He preordered one, which was delivered - but he had just got one instore the day before [just in case!]
So he refunded that one and sold it to me - still sealed etc
Was the last one in the area
Mine cost me £203 because I paid for next day delivery
I went onto the PC World site a few weeks ago and noticed that the "Preorder" button had changed to "Buy now" and I managed to snatch one up - about an hour later they were all gone. It arrived the next morning too

I pre-ordered an XZ, but having doubts over the device having ordered in I decided to cancel it and replace the device with a HTC One through P4U, they seemed quite happy to do it although unfortunately I did have to pay £100 towards the handset up front, but I will get £30 rebate apparently.. Hopefully I'll still qualify for one of the first 200 orders.

Never mind, they come with Beats buds and a flip case.
I noticed that CPW are doing the One with Solo Beats headphones with their offers.

Yeh its contract only. Just read the T&Cs
I originally bought the One X on a 12 month contract on Vodafone and my contract should be running out soon. I want the One on a similar 12 month deal.
That's what i was hoping for........quite a novelty having a 12 month contract again, still, 3 weeks to go to see if some better deals crop up.
The 12 month deal offered on the One X last year was outstanding.

When the One X was announced last year Dialaphone and some others had a 12 month deal @ £36/month, there was an upfront payment of £109.99 i think, but also a Quidco cashback offer with £65 cashback, the deal also came with the HTC Media link.
I'm looking for the 64GB HTC One on contract with unlimited data. Can't find any deals yet but I use 5GB - 8GB a month on data with Three, so deffo need it lol.
Where the hell is the sim free HTC One on Phones4u? I can only see the contracts, can someone link me?
EDIT: Found it, might wait for the 64gb model as the 16gb in my Nexus 4 isn't enough since day one, only like 300mb left.

HTC Nexus 9 - 32 GB LTE - 359$ Canada

Hey guys , I saw this on another forum and I want to share with you , if you have not seen this.
So Rogers Canada sell the device for 359$ without a contract (it's a promo limited time) This is the 32GB LTE is a really good price because Google play ask 669$ for this model. You can order by phone or go to store for having it. If some peoples wondered if the tablet is locked sim with Rogers, the answer is no it is only for phones.
You must activate it with a 5$ minimum data plan without a contract ( the 20$ fee connectionis you can have it for free on phone and on many stores ) After that you can cancel your account in the same days for having nothing else to pay.
Here the link: HTC Nexus 9 Rogers
Here is my experience with this:
I already have a nexus 9 16GB since last year ( i have got in solde for 350$ )..
Finally I decided to replace my 16GB for the 32GB LTE and selling my 16GB. Great move!
I was in a Rogers store last week and the store manager sold me without contract. The maganer told me he had no connection fees or charges for the sim card for tablets. So is said me is free for all of this. So i have Took the plan for 5$ and later in the day I call Rogers to cancel the line, and he said he had nothing to pay so no invoice because I cancel in the same day.
Have fun
Nobody in Canada here? lol.
I am, just already have a n9 lol. That's a super deal though.
