Here Is The Xperia Z Ultra ( KitKat v 4.4.2 ) SystemUI , Home and Task Killer App For Deodexed Custom Roms With Superuser Mod Enabled... Please Note . I Did Not Ported This. Master @serajr Ported It For Various Devices. I Got Permission From Him For Making Some Modifications In This Mod... So Complete Credit Goes To Master @serajr..

Here are original apk's from Xperia ZU system dump, ported to work on JB 4.3.
Whole porting process was done on my Xperia ZQ (ZL) running lastest JB 4.3 firmware, but they should work on any JB 4.3 device/firmware (to be confirmed)!
Warning:
As you know (I hope so), every device has its own framework-res.apk with its own resources/ids and the SystemUI.apk inherits a lot of them at run-time, so, if you install on a "non-ZQ" device 4.3 and face some wrong resources (pngs, strings, animations, ...) at your screen, it is a normal behavior, and this means that some SystemUI.apk edits are necessary to match your framework-res.apk resources.

- If you have any other xposed module that hooks SystemUI.apk, disable it!!!
Serajr Xperia Xposed Users:

Here is a Little Tutorial for making a 5 Button Navigation Bar mod. This tutorial should work in all sony devices that running Android version 4.1 and above. Tested in 4.4.4 too. Works well.

U all know that the Default Navigation Bar comes with only 3 Buttons. Back , Home and Recent Apps. So this little tutorial will help u to add extra two buttons (Very useful at some times) to the Navigation bar. One is Power Button and Next is Menu Button.

(1) Decompile ur SystemUI.apk and go to res/drawable-xxhdpi folder.Then download ,extract and move the " TWO " attached pngs to that folder. It will ask for replace. Click yes. Do the same in “drawable-xhdpi“ folder too. Not necessary. But just do.
For Device With XHDPI Add the Pngs to XHDPI Folder
For Device With HDPI Add the Pngs to HDPI Folder
(2) Then go to res/values folder and find ids.xml file. Open it with Notepad++ ( Right Click and then Edit With Notepad++ ) . Then add this line at the end

I flashed the zip file via cwm. I wiped cache, and dalvik cache, flashed the zip. Still didn't get 5 button navigation bar, I still just have the home, back, and small apps icon. Did I do something wrong? Ps I have deodex 67 stock rom. I want to have 5 buttons so bad.

I'm using LMT because I hate navbar that takes up my screen. Stock sony launcher unfortunately leaves a gap if you get rid of navbar. I fixed it. Thanks @dipesh1502 for this tutorial. It really helped me.
Now the launcher uses the entire screen. I also added another row to the desktop.

He mentioned they used LMT, so this can be used like alternative soft key.
That's right. I'm using LMT instead of softkeys and gravitybox to remove the navbar.

I personally prefer mods that are not being hacked by anything in the runtime, but I might try to do that as an xposed module if you could point me to a guide of some kind.

OK.. So I have installed your modified home.apk into my system folder.. I've deleted my original home.apk and home.odex files... The launcher does remove the bottom gap.. but now the gap is at the top...
Very saddened by this.. I wanted a complete gapless xperia home launcher.. Without using anything else like nova or blinkfeed or anything
Any idea as to how I can now remove the top gap??

i also have various Xposed modules installed, Xperia Xposed, GravityBox, Xperia V Mods, Xperia/AOSP NavBar Buttons, SEMCPhone Patcher, Screen Off Animation, GServiceFix, HeadsUp Notifications, GEM Xperia Xposed, Cyber-Shot Xposed, BootManager, BlinkChanger, BlackList, AppOps, Advanced Power Menu...
all of which are enabled with various tweaks amongst them enabled also
im running Stock KK 4.4.2, locked bootloader, dual recovery, SuperUserMod, rooted, SuperSU

Well, it has to be something in your modules as they're definitely modding Home.apk which is already modded. You'll have to check one-by-one which one is doing that.
Will update this home apk to the latest .108 firmware really soon.

If u have a deodexed , superuser installed rom means 90% it will work for sure.. In Z2. Because its a ported SystemUI from Z1 4.4.4 for 4.4.2 devices by @serajr. Then i kill it and make this mod. And its working in 4.4.4 too.

I just want to share some small modifications that I made for me and for some friend
Works only with lollipop by sony and you NEED a working RECOVERY.
All modifications are tested only with my z3 but they'll work also for the z2 as everything is the same.
Navbar size
Just the height of your navigation bar, here some examples:

Based on 23.4.A.0.546 SystemUI:
navbar follows main theme color
centered clock
dropped statusbar follows main theme colors
4 buttons in navbar
HTC softkey icons
AOSP Lollipop WIFI and DATA icons in statusbar
alternative AOSP battery with percentage ( you can enable it by disabling "battery percentage" in settings-personaliziation-system icons )
maaany additional vrthemes
NOTE: In order to avoid misalignments of the statusbar network icons it's recommended to delete SystemUI-Overlay-285.apk in /system/vendor/overlay/ folder!
NOTE2: Close all button in recents is already included in Sony's stock apk.

Framework-res dynamic navbar for lollipop apps [only for 5.1.1]
Based on 23.4.A.0.546 Framework-res
Here you have a framework-res that introduces navbar's dynamic color change for lollipop apps that support it.

Google messeger compatible with themes
This is Google Messenger modified to change its colors based on your current theme, you can install it as a normal apk.
WARNING: works only if you enabled "super user mode" ( don't know why ), I suggest to use the wonderful xperia xposed module from serajr to activate it.

General installation method:
To install these modded app you must put the zip in your internal or external memory and flash it through recovery.
Note: SystemUI, Settings and Phonebook apks are deodexed, by flashing my zip the relative odex file will be deleted.

no search bar in recents
close all button in recents ( follows color accent of the theme )
dynamic navbar ( follows the main theme color )
4 button navbar ( added power )
centered clock
dropped statusbar follows main theme colors ( the one from Ambor )

Don't think so, but I really have no idea because I don't know if the Z1 has similar system structure and resources.
You can try but be careful and make a backup, a forced clean install from flashtool is always behind the corner ( particularly in case of the framework-res.apk )

You want a modded SystemUI but without power button?
For that there's no problem but your FC are strange since there was another user that tested my framework-res on the z2 and had no issues.
Are you on the stock sony rom? Have you already made other modifications?

Hii I mod Settings.apk with dark background, included an autostart and CPU settings. And working theme accent.
Tested:
- z1
- z1c (report light themes does not work, i'll try mod specific for z1c)
- z2
- Z3 if fail, try install zip from @ogunja

Dark settings confirmed working on my. 690 z3

Can confirm working in Z3 .690. (dark setting + autostart + CPU settings and monitor)
Light settings did not working on Z1C.
Settings app did not appear in launcher.

Tried to install dark on my Z3 to no avail.
Stock Lollipop UK. 726.
Had to restore a backup, as even putting the original Settings.apk and arm folder resulted in no settings installed.
My dark settings disappeared after some hours... I flashed a new font and upon reboot the settings were gone. I too restored a backup and am not going to touch this mod again.

Hi Alvian_P, just intalled your mod on my z2 .726 and everything is working fine, thanks to everyone involved :good:
This Settings APK must not be used on anything but Z3 (and maybe Z2, since they have the same firmware 23.1.X). There are global resource references (0x10_____) which are different between the devices and depend on the framework-res.apk. Example: 0x10405b3 vs 0x10405af in MediaFormat.smali.
Be careful! Never cross-flash Settings.apk without proper porting!
