[Q] viper4android Failed SuperSu - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Guys,Don't know if have any other related topic about it. I couldn't find it.
But I am using Mooke Rom And trying to install And Said that failed
But i am looking on settings, it seems that SuperSU isn't installed, but how that could be possible if i have the SuperSU Settings on there? and i can even grant permission to apps that needs to surpass.
If Anyone could help i would be happy.

Rooted, but not rooted

Hi!
I am new to Android, been using iOS since 2007 and now I want to root my LG G2.
I used ioroot10 (also tested with ioroot6), and it seems to work nice until i f.ex:
1) Open a app that need root access, and normally asks for permission, like Titanium. I don't get any question about permisson.
2) TWRP: Try to backup, but the mobile reboots with a dead android icon.
3) Open the Superuser-app, but there are no apps listed there. When I try to use the Binary Updater it fails on: "Making sure new su works".
Any help?
Hi,
Take a look here instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448887.
It works flawlessly.
install SuperSu from play store. once you instal it will automatically remove superuser.... now supersu should now ask you for permission.

[Q] Superuser and SuperSU conflicting

Hello all,
I've been running into some issues with Superuser and SuperSU while running the CM11 nightlies. I restore all of my apps using the built-in Superuser from CM11, and then I go into SuperSU to update the binary (I want to use SuperSU as my main Root app) and update the binary successfully. All is well, but then it seems that Superuser will then take over as my main root app and then I need to continuously update the SuperSU binary.
Does anybody have any idea why SuperSU is not sticking as my root app, or how to "disable" Superuser?

CM13 Root Problem

Hi,
I am new to rooting and for some reason I dont have root access on my phone.
Here is everything I did yesterday:
I rooted using CF-Auto-Root then installed CWM and the updated to CM13. Then I installed superSU(even though I dont know exactly what it is used for).
Today I tried to use an app that requires root and got the message "Failed to get root!".
I opened superSU and it said I need to update SU binary but it would not let me and the installation would fail every time.
Now I downloaded Root Checker and it says "Root access is not properly installed on this device."
I am new to all this and I dont know what to do. Should I use CF-Auto-Root on my phone again? do i need to install something through CWM?
Please help me.
Thanks in advance!
Go to settings > developer options > enable root access for apps
You don't need SuperSU for CM13

SELinux switching help required please

Fantastic place thanks in advance for any and all help ,
Running nvidia shield console 16gb version 3.2 marshmallow , custom rom twrp 201602222 unofficial foster. TWRP manager paid version installed , #super su paid version installed from google play over su beta flash , SELinuxModeChanger also installed from download link in xda also installed xposed framework from xda big thanks to the devs
my issue is , that i need to find a way to switch selinux to permissive as TWRP manager cannot fully function with it set to enforced , i have downloaded and run SELinuxModeChanger however i keep getting a toast message which reads
App was unable to gain root access
superuser manager doesnt allow app to access SU or you dont have root at all. Fix this to use this SELinuxModeChanger
I have tried escalating apps permissions via SU but nothing seems to work and i am now stumped as to what to do next ??
I have been able to create a manual backup via adb fastboot but would really like to be using twrp on line back up if i can switch selinux mode
I have searched on here as well as google and nvidia forums to no avail please help a newb many thanks in advance
SOLVED
Managed to solve the problem by flashing update-superSU-v2.76-SYSTEMMODE over currant version now SELinuxModeChanger has su access
