Yes I do have the same issue, a bug with the program? They are probably aware of this and will have a fix on the way sometime in the near future but you can always give them feedback.

Because I use the S-View cover what I do is close it and open it again and what is actually does is wake the screen. Seems like a "wake screen" bug to me, and I don't think that the proximity sensor in the settings menu can help with that, it probably works only with stock dialer and not always with third party apps like Viber. So I don't know if you try to press the power once in order to close the black screen and then open it again if it helps.

Default Messaging apps bug

Hello,
I made the last update for android (2.3.4) yesterday and now , my sms messaging app is ...hum...strange...
Let's see that with a nice picture (uuuuh)

When I start typing the sms , the box become to big and my text have a wrong position in the text box (in RED)
Also , I would like to know if it was possible to delete the images button (in BLUE) because i'll never use it and it take a big part of the screen
Thanks and sorry for my bad english
It's always been like that for me, and even then I don't think these really qualify as bugs but rather features you're not interested in. Perhaps you should try some of the third party messaging apps, they're often more customisable

Afraid I cant help as I never use the stock app, but pretty certain others noticed something similar.

The bug was the red thing
It's not a bug... It is how Sony Ericsson wants the app to look... and I think it is really annoying...

Notification light while charging?

I noticed that when the phone is charging, the LED doesn't show notifications. Is there any way to change this? It's kind of annoying to get i.e. a whatsapp message and not see it until you turn on the phone.

Ah, thank you. For some reason I didn't recognize that this would allow normal notifications to display.

70M of ram just to show notifications? Meh.
Xposed led control mod is the best alternative to lightflow. Easy on the memory, and runs as service only.

70 mb isn't going to affect the performance of your phone at all. It's also very customisable and straight out awesome. I've never seem the phone with any less than 200 mb free ram even under the heaviest loads.

Google notifications

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. Every once in a while I get a pop up notification from Google. Opening it, it directs me to Google settings. Is it telling me I need to change something? I didn't think so. Everything seems to be working fine. More annoyingly, I can't swipe it away. It seems the only way to get rid of it is to reboot the phone. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on here?
Thanks very much for any help & here is screen shot of what I'm talking about.

See this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3366469 It seems to be something to do with Nova launcher.

Thanks very much for that. Narrowing it down to something to do with Nova launcher is a start at least. I'll research further. It's still very annoying though!

Hmm I occasionally get this pop up when I say ok Google from the lock screen with ok Google always on enabled. It appears for a couple of seconds then goes away, I thought it was to say Google now is recording audio?

Proximity sensor issue?

I searched and it looks like I might be the only person with this problem. When I am in a phone call, the screen isn't being turned off when I hold the phone up to my ear. I can't really tell where the proximity sensor is so I can test covering it completely though. Right now I have to press the power button if I want the screen off during a call. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

The proximity sensor is number 5 on the diagram below:

In the past I've had a similar issue that was caused by a screen protector - try removing it if you've got one that covers the sensor. Having said that, I currently have a spigen protector that covers the sensor and I'm not experiencing any issues.

What model phone do you have, if it's a Samsung you can test the proximity sensor in the diagnostic menu of the phone. Had the same problem and had to send it in for repair.

checkout the screen protector if you used sometimes we buy poor quality

Note 4 Display turns on by itself or minimal touches

Hello, friends of the Note 4.
Im note sure if i am right here to ask about a specific problem.
Like i mentioned in the headline, the display of my phone turns on by minimal touches it seems, for example if i take the phone in my hand but not puch any button. Can be that it also turns on without toches, im not so sure.
The effect is hardly reproducable though, by handling the phone rougher just to see if the display turns on. Not sure.
Im a little stumped by this problem, since it didnt changed by flashing another rom. Im a little afraid that it could be a hardware problem... Hope not.
Do you have any advice for me what to try or in what direction to look for a solution?
Thanks!
Quick Glance on for some reason? LOL!

What even is Quick Glance? I use a Note 7 rom, by the way... Just truned off smart stay. It will take time to see if it solved the problem.
I think this problem is related to the apps that can appear on top like pie control, drup or any other 3rd party apps. So try to disable them one by and see which app is causing this problem. Cheers
