Well Yes I asked the others to post Not Working games so that there is a list of games not working properly but I thought of listing games that work too . sorry for the confusing title Changing it
Injustice : Gods Among Us - works
It's a great game I recomend it.:thumbup:
Sonic Dash isn't supported officially by the device on Play Store, but I downloaded the game in another phone, extracted the apk with AirDroid and put on my G. Works well and runs very smooth.

It doesn't work on my Xperia Z1, I think that developers should take a look at this as it is also a Snapdragon 800 device so it should run the game exactly the same as the Nexus 5. Possibly it is the newer Android version though.

Asphalt 8 - Working(ingameusic off, vlc/soumdcloud on, medium) or laggy(ingame music)

1.Vice city,San Andreas lags ..has to set display options to low.
2.Liberty city works fine.
3.NFS most wanted,hot pursuit..all works fine.
4.FIFA 14 works without any problems.
5.Amazing spiderman 1,2 works..little frame skips on AS1 though .
6.Asphalt 8 works..no issues .
7.Dark knight faces frame skips in outside environment, but pretty much playable.
8.Six guns works.
9.Gangstar Miami vindication,Rio:City of saints,Vegas all works..no issues
10.Wild blood works..no probs
11.N.O.V.A 2,3 works...N3 has little frame skips.
Dragon Quest 8 - laggy (about 25fps)
RR3 - laggy sound and music(sounds are laggy not graphics with sound) , working no lags(50 fps with assists(tc) minor frame drops ,without assists game gets to full 60 fps with no drops)

GTA San Andreas-lagging
Virtua Tennis - plays smooth
Walking Dead Season 1 - plays smooth
Real Racing 3 - plays smooth
San Andreas - lags like hell
(Reason - San Andreas isn't optimized for the Snapdragon 400 , that causes issues , It also lags on grand2 , lg l90 n other snap 400 phones :-/ )
The only way to play the game currently is to set the graphics level at minimum - like brightness - 10% , draw distance - 10%
Still even on these settings it faces hiccups !
How about anomaly 2 jeez I have framerate of High-med benchmark settings with low-med graphics.

hi there, i have a rooted Samsung Galaxy 3 as most of you too.
here's the thing, i've rooted my phone, installed 3d chainfire and updated all of my drivers (of chainfire that is) installed setcpu and set it on perfromance base on 1300MHz. after that i thought to myself well a everything is done i can start downloading games now, i first downloaded PES 2011 and felt really excited when it booted and expected some good gaming and fun when traveling but when i started the game it was just horrid...the game is running approximately at 20% of it's usual game speed which kills it off entirely it feels like i'm playing the game with VSync enabled all the time.
So i was hoping if i could get some feedback from you guys to inform me what i did/am doing wrong or to give your impressions on the way things are shaping up for you.

Did you tried different configurations specific to the game?
Did you installed plugins?
well, different games needs different configurations and each of them works good with a specific plugin.
Here is some examples:
For Nfs Shift you only need to select "Reduce texture quality and Qualcomm plugin.
For Modern Combat: Sandstorm you have to select both "Reduce texture quality" and "Reduce texture size" and choose Qualcomm plugin.
So the best way to play a lag free game is to try different settings.

trust me i've installed the plugins and have all 3 updated to the newest version i have tested all possible configurations and plugins even reducing texture and size settings still i can't get the game to run at more then 20-30% of it's potential...it's kinda sad as i saw that many of you are playing games smoothly on the SG3

PES 2011 working slow on every G3. You can't do anything with that but games like Nova, Nfs Shift and many others working great. You can try Psx emulator also, Fpse is the best I think and then you can play with psx games like Tekken 3, Gran Turismo, Civilization or Mortal Kombat.

So, overclocked processor even to 1300 Mhz doesn't provide performance in 3D games. (Neocore benchmark @ 667 Mhz - 13 FPS, Neocore benchmark @ 1200 Mhz - 14 FPS). Practically zero growth in performance of 3D.
Fpse emulator? The same situation. gran Turismo (time trial, only Your car on the track - 30-42 FPS - playable) Gran turismo (race, 6 cars - slow, not playable)
I5800 is not for games and emulation.
well, G3 is not good for 3D games, that's just how it is. There are awesome 2d games for android though. Refraction, rope cut, mx mayhem-a bit slow but fun and playable, angry birds all run fine. believe me if you had high end 3d games on g3 they would become boring in a week. better to just stick to your pc or console for real games

3) With stock firmware,even Temple Run 2 sometimes stutters if you have too many apps installed. With cyanogen everything is a bit better. Anyways,if you want to play heavy games i think you should buy something else.
4) To me it seems pretty good,but this is my only android phone so i'm happy with it. I use it mostly for sms/calls/web/music and i've had only some problems with whatsapp (i don't know if it's only me). Anything else is almost perfect for my normal use.

i also had a galaxy s3 before & let me tell you that real racing 3 lagged like hell on the s3 even when i had it overclocked. i now have the xperia z & real racing 3 runs silky smooth. NFS & Vice City ran smooth on s3 & runs even smoother on the Z.
I tried Real Racing, and you're right, the FPS is less than ideal - but I wouldn't say it can't handle 1080p resolution... it can handle it very well in 99% scenarios.
RR3 was smooth on my phone
Maybe u reached overheat limits..at this point subway surfers lags too..otherwise any game with the phone is super smooth

The Xperia Z destroys the SIII and even the Nexus 4 which has the same specs at a lower resolution, and holds its own against the better spec'd One and SIV.
Your resource management is poor. Even then, things should be smooth.

It's ok man..next time try to be clear with descriptions in OP so u wont be replied this way I think sony will improve overheat control in future releases..u can also cool ur phone with water or sit in a cool place if u want to play such heavy games for a long time

Try to play LEGAL copy of game and not copy with unlimited coins, etc. my friend played same game as I did, he used illegal copy with unlimited coins and I used legal copy, but his game lagged as hell.

That's a load of rubbish as ive got the game and played it normally and played it with the money and gold hacks via haxplorer and there is no difference in game play or frames per second.

Most of these can be considered as heavy games and have good graphics.
Most of the big heavy games out there run but have very bad graphics.. so maybe it's time to start oc'ing the cpu and gpu for gamers .
Also most games have very bad stock graphics so games like nova, asphalt, nfs mw, modern combat, gangstar vegas, dead trigger can be modded to have better graphics with no lag. Just search for them on google.

gangstar vegas graphics patch ( works perfectly for tab 2 on medium)

The entire point of this thread is to tell people who r planning to get this phone ...what this phone can do in game..i checked the gpu gflops and i dont think there is any game this device can't run ...it will be really helpful..if other users who use this sevice cn help increase size of.list...i have this kind of thread for almost all devices ..i just thought this device should have one.too..

I don't know if this is an appropriate reply but I have both Drastic (NDS emulator) and PPSSPP (Sony PSP emulator) on my Zenfone 2. Both run smooth as butter, on every game I have played on it so far, even the graphics intensive ones.
Rayman Jungle Run.
All games I have tried on this phone are smooth as butter, bearing out the results of its performance on benchmark tests. My ZE550ML also has the advantage of only pushing 720p. I honestly don't believe you lose much from being "only" 720p either - I find my display to be perfectly vivid, clear and bright, and have to really look closely and strain my eyes to see any pixels. Games look beautiful.

i tried mortal combat x and it is playing smooth no problem with the gameplay
Seconded man...i also have a 720p screen. And what other might think...it actually looks good..pictures are sharp and crystal clear..gaming experience is smooth as vutter too..all credits to.its flagship class gpu
Can anyone tellme why i can't play racing rivals on my ze550ml?
Played most of the games given, the only remark i can give is some stutters (micro freeze) when playing. it happens less when i reboot the device before playing any game.
I assume this is related to the bad memory management in 550ml.

In my ze551ml 4gb ram 2.3ghz variant nfs most wanted work very good, without lag of grafical glitch and without black, the solutions is download the file obb by same app automatically and no manually mode
