[Q] Scale down Notification Toggles? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
As you can imagine from the title, is it possible to scale down the toggles in the notification area? Maybe with a xposed module? If it is not that heavy to do, i would try to do it by myself...
Thanks in advance

Can anyone help me out? i would pay a few bucks if its possible to minimize the wasted space in the notification area... and im sure im not the only one...

Sorry for replying this late... I already took a look at link 1, not what i was looking for... link 2 is broken... :S
thanks

Perhaps edit the LCD density in the build prop to 320 and use xposed app settings to correct the stock apps that dont scale right back to 480. Then you'll look like this .

This thread is for the support of RootBox users. I am not affiliated with Bajee in any way. I am just doing this to prevent any further conflicts between our amazing developer and the people have questions and need support for RootBox. I will do my best to answer any questions, but I do not know all the answers.
Please be helpful to others and only constructive criticism. EVERYONE started somewhere, just because they have a question does not give you the right to insult or criticize anyone. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has those days.

I have a question and my question is: why not lock all the dev threads afterall, and simply have one post in them where devs just upload link of their rom this way, you and those that think dev threads cannot be used to ask questions, become a happy family?

I believe that Dev threads can be used to question, I just know that Bajee perfers a support thread and a Development thread. All I'm trying to do is make his life easy as he works extremly hard on our Rom.
This is great! It's better this way. We can report bugs here instead of discussing there. Just make sure bajee checks this thread!

There's a video tutorial on the root box site. Follow that. Just remember to use 250 dpi instead of 300

Personally I have no longer been having an issue with cLock not showing on my lock-screen. They appear to have updated it and I no longer have problems with it showing. Also in the newest source it was updated again so you may not have problems then.
Could try doing a full wipe and installing the latest nightly or wait for the next one.
Ps I compile my own rootbox so when I talk about the new update it should be in Bajees next nightly or release
Just to make clear i know how to change dpi and stuff. I simply do not know which apk i select to change the dpi? Logic tells me i should fins lockscreen and changw dpi but when i go to xposed app i do not see a lockscreen apk to change dpi like for example i see a facebook.apk or some other apk

Lockscreen is not an apk. It's not possible to specifically change your lockscreen dpi in this rom.
this rom looks so awesome, looks the best one (all the best roms in one) !
what about :
1. battery
2. performance
3. sweetness
4. translations
5. colours
6. suggestions/requests
7. what is worse than PA ?
?
thanks, i'm looking for the most customisable rom
Can I specify the lockscreen to stay on portrait view?
Hi all.
I have been using this ROM for about 3 weeks now, and I love every single thing about it
Thanks bajee11 to have developed such a great ROM
I run it with Faux123 kernel and it runs smoothly.
One thing I have to ask in this thread and hopefully get a reply is this
Is it possible to keep my lockscreen on a portrait view when I enabled auto rotate?
Or is there any way to make my LINE(chat) to be auto rotate when the screen orientation locked?
I enabled the "Normal Rotation" on Youtube and works fine, but with LINE it can't be done and I am eager to do the same with my LINE.
Hopefully someone will have an answer to this. thanks very much.
Regards, Evan Hendra
In the new nightly the option to have the screen shot in one of the nav keys is gone, (or I'm overlooking it)..... anyway I can add it back in myself? Thanks.
@Bajee.... will there be an option for it again in the future? I know it's in 3.8 but just wondering if it's going to be taken out all together in the next stable release.

DPI Changes and camera

Ok guys, Got ya for ya.
I changed my dpi to 320, and bascially everything is working fine. The only problem is the camera is only using the top left of the screen. Its not taking up the whole screen. Annoying.
To try and fix it, I installed xposed framework and the module app settings, set it so the camera app uses the default 440 dpi. No change. Restarted. Same. Messed with the app some more, and come to the conclusion either i'm using it wrong or it doesnt work for our phones...
So my question to you, how are you overcoming this? Just living with it? The focal points are all messed up as well which is driving me nutso. Any suggestions?
Thanksss
is the default 440? i thought i remember someone saying in another thread they used xposed to set the camera back to 480 and that fixed it?

I cannot post a screenshoot right now.But its the same thing you posted. And another stupid question is coming lol Do you have the app setting checked from within xposed installer?I have a feeling that it might be the problem. You need to check the module from within 1st in order for it to work.
Also guys when you want to change your phone DPI,and not do it app by app you can use Texdroider its in the store.

Thanks for your stunning insight bro, but MAYBE I'm not rooted and running a custom recovery ATM, and I'd like to see if the mod is working before I root again. Plus I'm not near a computer right now. Thanks tho. I'm not gonna waste my time responding to anymore of your posts. You're not helpful at all yet.

I didn't ask You to answer my posts.
Only thing You have done here is 3 unusefull posts.
If You wanted to help OP or other users, than You allready had flashed this .zip and gave feedback.

OK you're new to the forums, but this kinda question is common to save time and to give the op feedback. Don't be an ass.

ok guys let draw a line through this now...
@martinsskutans re ui crash i flashed all these zips on my system before i uploaded them and they all worked fine. Can only recommend redownload and reflash from recovery. I can mirror the download elsewhere if you think it may help. let me know which one you want. :good:
@pathtologos bud I test all my DL before i post and they all worked well... I feel your trepidation but cant say 100% it will work for you but I've just looked and there have been 25 and counting downloads of these zips so far and only one report of an issue.. Backing up and trying is really the only way forward. And a system ui crash really isnt the end of the world just a pain in the butt hay. :fingers-crossed:
good luck both :good:

See I have no problem with an answer like that. God knows, I've done enough testing and experimenting in my time on xda. What I don't appreciate is being insulted for asking something we all ask each other around here from time to time. That is NOT the spirit of XDA from what I've seen.
