any one updated via this rom

Yes , I updated using this ROM and it didn't delete anything , all my apps were intact. Before updating i unrooted my phone ( reset using triangle aways and then unroot from super su app , i don't know how much this affects this). Before all of that i replaced my recovery to stock recovery.

Is this the official update from Samsung? The final build of it as well? I read in a swedish newspaper the 4.3 update had started rolling out officially from Samsung. Any critical bugs in the update so far?

I can install this one on my swedish note2 then? Doesn't matter that there is no swedish language since i use the english one.

Hi. Can I flash n7100 4.3 rom to dual sim N7102? Thanks!

Thanks A Million
I cannot tell enough how much I appreciate these resummable links. I hate sammobile and others so much for their hotfile, etc links. Some of us are from countries where we cannot easily subscribe for such services and also have bad internet as well. So most of the time we are left to search high and low for resumable links. Once again, thanks a million.

thank you for the links.
Quick question ----> I've restored my Note 2 to full official (system status normal, stock rom, stock recovery, counter 0 etc)
If I flash this official firmware via odin, will it increase my counter and or status?
Thank you in advance

I uploaded the file to another dropbox account as thank you, the current dropbox link is down.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zk086o3xi2589sf/N7100XXUEMK4_N7100ODDEMK1_INU.zip

I don't understand why Samsung doesn't add Emoji support like they did on Note 3 and Galaxy S4 update.

Instructions for Flashing Firmware with ODIN
You do not need to root or unroot the device to update the firmware and you will lose root for sure.
This will not increase the flash counter.
If you came from a custom rom (e.g. CM9, CM10) you need to reboot into RECOVERY and wipe your before you put it into Download Mode. Otherwise, device will not boot. But don't worry, you can go to recovery at any time, before or after the flash.
If don't need to wipe if you came from a stock rom but after flash if you get stuck on boot screen then reboot into recovery and wipe, and then reboot.
- Install KIES or Samsung drivers into your PC and ensure that KIES is closed and not running in the system tray
- Download the firmware version and extract the *.tar.md5 file
- Download ODIN, extract the ODIN folder and open it
- Select PDA tab and point it to *.tar.md5 file. Leave Re-partition, pit, CSC, Phone tab unticked (in other words, don't change anything)
- Turn off your device
- Put your device into DOWNLOAD MODE (simultaneously press and hold Vol - and Power buttons, confirm entering in download mode by Vol+ button)
- Connect device to PC and wait for any required drivers
- ID com port should turn yellow
- Click START!
- Do not disconnect the cable or turn off the device once the flash has started
- Wait until ODIN shows PASS! Device will reboot when it finishes.
- Disconnect device from PC during the reboot and you can now disconnect the cable.
- Done!
Instructions for Flashing Firmware with Mobile ODIN
If you have root I recommend Mobile Odin Pro to keep root. Thanks Chainfire!!!
You can also use the MOBILE ODIN LITE that is free but in this case you will not keep root.
Both versions will not increase the flash counter.
- Install Mobile Odin Pro
- Copy ICS ROM file in .tar to Internal SD card (recommended) or External SD card
- Open Mobile Odin Pro (wifi required) to download additional packages (only the first time that you lanch the app)
- Select open file
- Select ICS ROM.tar
- All fiels will popup and feel automatically
- In tab EVERROOT tick 'Enable EverRoot' and 'Inject Superuser (SuperSU)'
- In tab wipe tick 'Wipe Dalvik Cache'. You may also tick 'Wipe data and cache' for a clean install or if you came from a custom rom
- Hit Flash Firmware button
- Phone will reboot to flash firmware
- Done!
Instructions for root
If you want to root your device I recommend CF-Auto-Root by Chainfire. Your flash counter will increase if you use pc Odin but you can reset it using the Triangle Away, also by Chainfire. If you are already rooted you can use Mobile Odin to flash it without increasing your flash counter. For more information about CF-Auto-Root, visit his thread.
Make sure to thank Chainfire for all he has done for the XDA community!!!
If you are with 4.0.3 you can Root the Galaxy Tab 2 7" without flashing the bootloader. Thanks Nesquick95 and miloj!!!
This will not increase the flash counter.
You can also follow this thread: Root - Galaxy Tab 2 7" 4.0.4
Your flash counter will increase but you now know how you can reset it.

And I haven't tried yet but I will. I didn't had time to try it.
How to install it via Odin?
Should I select P3110XXBLH1_P3110OXXBLH1_HOME.tar.md5 as PDA? And should I use PIT file?
Sorry, maybe question in wrong thread... But I wanna try to install this firmware (I am very interested what's new in 4.0.4 from Samsung )
I have installed with mobile odin to keep root.
Rom is incredible fast and smooth. Big diference compared with 4.0.3.

Agree, launcher is really faster than on 4.0.3 - it is working without any freezes. About colors - I don't know, cannot see a lot of colors

I am installed back my own ROM (4.0.3) but... Now my region is detected as SER (Russia) intead SEK (Ukraine).
When I am flashed same 4.0.3 ROM after playing with CM9 and CM10 my region was correct...
How I can set my region back to SER?
No question anymore: CSC Changer for Galaxy S from the Market working just perfect
I have flashed it too.
I used the pit file ... hope this was not a big mistakes ...
The UI is more responsive. I see some lag but less than in 4.0.3.
I think I will give a try to CM9. But this version, 4.0.4, is the best stock rom for our tab.
I have no idea about the battery life with this rom.
That was my 2 cents.
Worked for me, thanks!

Why you used pit file?
Im downloading this now. Ill root de-odex so on and post it for CWM.
has anyone received this via OTA or kies or has someone just uploaded the files?
As I said in OP this is the first official 4.0.4 version and only come out to Nordic countries (OTA or Kies)
For the rest of the countries I believe some will come out this week, others in the followings but the rom will be the same.
Why to wait...

- Brighter Display
- Gradient Notification Bar
- Better/More Readible Text Layouts: Weather widget, Settings/Menus, Google Search bar
- Minimum UI & Sound changes (Notification/Pop ups, Keyboard sound, Gallery Swipe sound, etc.)
- Homescreen Lag Fixed
- Improved light effect
- GPU driver upgrade: Images now are displayed with higher resolution.
Samsung seems to have done some upgrades to the GPU, for in the past I'd load a High Resolution Wallpaper and it would pixelate, now, it looks great, the same goes with the lockscreen light effect, a bit smaller effect, buta noticeable higher resolution. Overall... this factory firmware feels like its a custom ROM. Touchwiz feels light, the notification pane is silky smooth. Nice. So far, the best one yet.

Install Update (1/10/2014): I figured out that by 'upgrading' from any of the previous build to this one, no such lag is present. A fresh install from a fully wiped phone has yielded several devices to lag, but after several tries as an "upgrade", no lag issues have presented.

1. Download and Decompress the firmware
2. Download and Install Odin on your computer (if you dont have Kies, it would be wise to install it for it's driver, option B: download Samsung device drivers.)
3. Load Odin, select the PDA tab and find your firmware, it should be in ".tar" form
4. Boot device in 'Download Mode', (Press VOL- / Home / Power)
5. Connect USB Cable to device and PC, press VOL+ to continue
6. Once a YELLOW Prompt shows up with a COM port displayed, PRESS "START"
7. Let ODIN Flash the firmware until the YELLOW Prompt displays "PASS" in GREEN.
Read the Guide first, this is just a quick walkthrough.
Good luck,
Paul

Yes, this is the reason why in the forum we post the latest firmwares.
There are several ways but the most common is with ODIN (Samsung Firmware Update Utility).

Factory Firmwares have everything included (kernel too), so you dont need to flash anything else. If you choose to flash a third-party or modded kernel, then you follow the same steps.

Kids should be able to read and use search .
You can report the post via the red triangle in the OP though it has already been reported .
It does not need moving just deleting as it has been posted for hours and hours and even modded .

2 things:
1. If you didn't develop it, it does not go in Android Development, instead it goes in general.
2. This has already been posted multiple times so thread closed.

1.Download this firmware
2.Install it via odin
3.Reboot to recovery
4.Wipe data twice
5.Wipe cache
6.Reboot
7.Check for updates
8.VOILA

Can you give more informations on which firmware it is ... what dose it really do ... and if I have a phone with one csc code will it change ...
Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA Free mobile app
Update on how to get the right CSC (XEF) for the 5.1.1. update to show up
Here is how to change the CSC code to XEF (absolutely needed in order to get the 5.1.1. update)
- install & root with your preferred way ( [ROOT] PingPongRoot ***S6 & S6 Edge Root Tool*** or CF-Auto-Root
- install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ (paid version). Now in order to make the "Change CSC" option you will need to update the Superuser to "Superuser v2.49"
Here is how to update the SuperSU:
- Download the zip file at http://download.chainfire.eu/740/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip
- Extract and get the Superuser.apk file from the 'common' folder inside it.
- Install Superuser.apk, it will ask to update the binaries to the latest version. Let it update.
- Reboot the phone.
One of the users noted (related to using the tool Phone INFO ★Samsung★ (paid version) to change the CSC code) that: "I finally changed the CSC with this steps: rooted with Ping Pong, installed Phone Info (thank you for this app), and SuperSu 2.94, changed CSC, error on Recovery, Wipe data factory reset in Recovery, flashed the phone with Odin. Tested with 2 G925F phones."
I can confirm I followed the same procedure and it worked!

Hi man. If I am on Build Number: G920FXXU1AOCV, my start screen with Telekom ( I have waranty) will disapear after flashing your rom? I must do the "Emergency software recovery and initialization" with Smart Switch before flashing this with Odin to not get the bootloop problem? What is the problem with CSC and waranty?
Thanx!
A bit of attention.

Read my post twice. In order to be able to get the 5.1.1. (at least for now) you need the XEF CSC (France). If others can confirm that they can get 5.1.1. without the XEF CSC that indeed an update / downgrade to your suggested firmware (an other as well) will work just fine. Until then CSC change is needed in such procedure requires root (unfortunately)

Rooting with Ping Pong will not trip Knox, so you will not lose warranty.
I think they should have one version of firmware for all ..or even one s6 and one s6 edge ...not so many variants. ..

New bootloader blocks downgrading, be careful installing 5.1.1 OTA!
Kernel built after May 15th (including some 5.0.2 and all 5.1.1) have PingPong xploit fixed. Be cautious when installing OTA these days and FlashFire might be your best shot of upgrading systems. i do not recommend to install 5.1.1.
This guide does not offer a guarantueed, immediate update. It simply does flash a French firmware, since this is the first EU country to receive OTA for G920F, which is fine. BUT the way updates are, they will not come to everyone immediately. So it can last up to a week, before the OTA finally arrives and you should tell guys, before they are forced to setup their S6 from scratch and end up frustrated.

OK, but from what I can tell the update is available for all the devices with that firmware via OTA; at the moment they are upgrading to 5.1.1. Why do you consider it can take a week?

Since this happens for all OTA`s, they are incremental. So some users get it on day 1, others on day 2, other even later. It`s like that since ages. Manufactureres use this careful way of rolling out upgrades to avoid issues, in case OTA includes a major bug.

ANDROID 6.0.1 FOR G800F United Arab Emirates

http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/114827/G800FXXU1CPK5_G800FOJV1CPK1_XSG/
Just saw it too. Does it mean it will come to other countries soon?
I don't see United Arab Emirates being on the forefront of new releases on other phones...
Installed yesterday on friends secondary phone. No issues encountered, the ROM looks like the regular samsung crap with tons of bloatware and the same UI as before.
I have to say I like marshmallow more than lollipop. In my case the phone is faster than before. The visible changes are very rare, its nearly the same like lollipop.
ok, so i'm a bit newbie when it comes to stock ROMs, are there many diffrences between UAE and Germany releases of the same ROM despite language?
I made a debloated, deodexed, de-knoxed of this firmware. In case you want to check it out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/development/rom-official-tw-6-0-1-deodexed-t3519972
Can someone post an alternate link to the original ROM? Sammmobile is down for the weekend.
If your S5 Mini is model 800Y, and you flashed with this what happen?...does it have to be 800Y firmware

Initial 6.0.1 release:
Model: SM-G800F
Version: G800FXXU1CPK5/G800FOJV1CPK1/G800FXXU1CPI1/G800FXXU1CPK5
OS: Marshmallow(Android 6.0.1)
Filename: SM-G800F_1_20161201163615_2ttad3z8do.zip
Size: 1335436654 bytes
md5: 90cce3a9f79bd121bf4b8490a260d77a
Hey guys! I have just flashed this rom onto my s5 mini. The UAE version has language support for my country and for other countries as well. I think Marshmallow is faster for me than lollipop. The ram usage after boot is 750 mb for me. It works smooth, the icons are new and the permission system can be found. NO theme store also new emojis are added and a newer version of internet browser. What you have to calcute with is that thr UAE has two bloatware apps, which are unusual for me as a Hungarian user. These two you will see have icons on the home screen, you can easily disable them if you don't want to see them in the line of your applications.
One opinion from this whole comment:
I absolutely recommend you this 6.0.1 it is cool Wrote from my Hungarian s5 mini running the UAE 6.0.1 without any language obstacles
---------- Post added at 10:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:16 PM
You can also download latest version of Samsung's music player that requires android marshmallow and it works very well on this rom.

Are you completely sure? I've been waiting on Samsung logo for more than 15mins, and only then it jumped to visual installation.
In any way, right now just find odin flashable Recovery, then delete every partition, reflash the rom and just let it be while you eat dinner
