[Q] Support for the HTC Sensation (xe/4g) - Omni Q&A

Hey I'm a Sensation user and I just found about omni rom and it appealed me ,it would be a great addition for our phone because we don't have a great list of Roms. The sensation/xe/4g are the same so you have to build 1 rom for 3 devices
Thank you hopefully you guys will support our phone

HTC Tatto Android 2???

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Android having got my HTC Tattoo during the week.
I'm wondering if there is any way to get Android 2 (Eclair) onto my Tattoo? I've googled for it but there's only instructions for the Hero.
I don't care if its a vanilla ROM without Sense UI. I'm just looking for an update to help improve battery life and bluetooth functionality (plus I like to have all the latest versions of things ).
I emailed HTC about it and they said they couldn't confirm if the Tattoo was getting the update (which probably means it won't...)
Also, I'd rather not use a buggy beta ROM .
Thanks in advance,
Keith
PS: I know people managed to get a V2 ROM onto the G1 by rooting but I presume it's differen for the Tattoo because the different screen size, addition of FM radio etc.

Got an HTC HD 2 testdevice and published an hardware review

Hi Everybody,
i got my hands on a HTC HD 2 testdevice and made a Hardware review on my blog.
http://smartphoneblogging.com/2010/04/review-htc-hd2-hardware-impressions/
This is old news for HTC HD 2 owners, but hopefully interesting for anybody who plans to get an HTC HD 2. Any questions are welcome.
I will follow this up with an HTC Sense review, especially comparing the Sense experience on Android and Windows Mobile.
Bye,
Shahpur
Finally i finished my HTC Sense review for HTC HD2 too. I tried to present every HTC Sense app and made many screenshots in order to provide a detailed impression of this UI:

While i think that HTC Sense on the HTC HD2 is really a great WM Skin and enhanced windows mobile in many ways, the Android version is just more flexible at the end of the day. But it's not only about HTC Sense, because the HTC HD2's main selling point is the combination of great hardware combined with a neat UI, and therefore it is still worth a look.

Former HD2 owner has a few questions...

Hey guys,
I've been an HD2 owner for a year in 2011 and regret selling it for an Atrix. I'd like to buy an HD2 again but I've got two questions regarding Android :
- Has the "no sound" bug in CM7 and MIUI been solved for good ? When I was using it, it would happen that pciking up a phonecall would give a "ssshhh" sound that needed a battery pull to be fixed.
- How are ICS and JB running in terms of speed ? The jump from Gingerbread to ICS on the Xperia Ray I got which has somewhat similar performances was painful. With more than 20 apps installed, you would really feel the hardwarde limits. Is this the case for the HD2 ?
Thanks !
I've tried like 50 ROMS & so far the better ones are running from NATIVESD, almost most of the roms normal features are running fine now & your good to go.
have a look at the links below & see how it goes.

[Q] HTC - Sense Skin

Hi Devs,
I am following XDA since HTC HD2 days, and really want to appreciate each developer for putting so much of efforts for bringing flawless ROM's and skins.
Just wanted to check, can we have HTC sense skin on Note 3 ?
The reason for this naïve question is that because since last few days I have seen many developers coming up with S5 theme and its working bug free. It would be really great if someone can port HTC Sense 6.0 on Note-3
Thanks everyone for your efforts.
Regards,
Naresh
