Hey guys,
I just wanted my first post to be a big thank you to all of you guys on the forums. I've been reading through the forums ever since i got my sgs a few weeks ago and i've found so much useful tips and information here. Thanks to all the people who have the patience to answer other peoples questions and problems, especially when they do it time and time again as the questions are asked more than once! Thanks to all the devs for the opportunity to enjoy the full capabilities of my phone! I am on Darky 9.3 right now (which is great) and considering very soon to make the big leap to CM7. My curiousity in the field had grown thanks to all of you, and i truly hope that in the future i will also be able to make my own contributions to the android community and the SGS community specifically.

My sentiments exactly. It's a great community and the wealth of information collected here is invaluable.
One thing nobody warned me about was the heart stoping moments when ur flashing a rom or bootloader and the phone takes just take 2 or 3 seconds more lol.. BUT yeah big probs to the Seniors Spec Joel (Darky) and Ramad

This thread is made to GATHER A TEAM FOR A NEW SERIES OF ROM. This series aims to cook roms for our Galaxy S3 giving better performance , better battery life and better looks than a stock sammy rom , But not deviating more from the stock built.
Tentative Requirements are :
Beta Testing Team : 4 - 5 ACTIVE XDA MEMBERS for BETA TESTING THE ROMs, ( NEED NOT BE A DEV )
Designing Team : Official Designing team consisting of 2-3 ACTIVE XDA MEMBERS motivated enough to hold the responsibility of designing ROM BANNERS , ROM PAGE LAYOUT , etc . ( NEED NOT BE A DEV )
Support Team : Official Support team consisting of 2-3 ACTIVE XDA MEMBERS for providing support and troubleshooting any problems to the downloaders ( Better if a DEV )

I'll be glad to be a beta tester but the only issue is i am from India and have low downloading speeds and as you mentioned, your ROM would not be far away from stock so naturally it would be as large as toucwiz roms and it takes me around 7 hours to download Touchwiz roms so if u don't find any problem regarding my download speed issue, you can finalize me for a beta tester

Ok prople, so i want to make a ROM that the majority of the community would like i was wondering what people would want as part of this ROM. This way i can make a ROM that the majority of the community would like !
