Hii,
yesterday Samsung released his first update for free european SM-N9005 devices.. But my device shows that no new update is available.
I'm from Germany..
Has any other the same problem?

Indeed I saw on sammobile site that new firmwares are currently being uploaded (N9005XXUBMJ1).

BTW OP, which carrier are you on? I got mine through O2 but my firmware is DBT.
I'm using a SM-9005 singapore model in Spain, no OTA update available it says...Oh well just have to wait.
The update was released 3days ago only today I got it this morning it was 24 mb OTA .... my device software from Egypt SM-N900

The Samsung-updates website is not really up-to-date... I have a SM-N900 country code TTT... And I just got the update... The website is showing the old version for my device.

Weird that you have a german branded firmware.
Mine is suppose to be VIA but got DBT and I purchased it directly from O2.de

Please change the title because it's misleading to something like "I cannot get the OTA update". I thought there was a problem with it.

Uh, DBT is Unbranded... I bought the phone at Saturn Bocholt.

Hi, I flashed with odin before and changed CSC aswell
i had uk unbranded s4
switched to german
i get this:
"your devices current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via kies"
Current firmware version: PDA:MGA / PHONE:MGA / CSC:MH2 (DBT)

Did you flash a pre-rooted stock firmware? If so, Kies may be detecting that the firmware is modified, and does not allow you to update. On your phone, go to settings - more - about device - software update and see if you get the error that your device has been modified. If so, you can try triangle away or else you have to factory reset your phone to remove this error.

In phone it says i did too many updates... and try in kies.
I flashed stock german no root.
But inthink i flashed it twice first not changed csc then changed csc and flashed again. How can i fix it?

Because CSC XXX after switch frimware german to CSC ITVBMH1 italy.
but with ITVBMH1 update with FOTA its ok download succed.
Any solution to uptade with kies????

I triangled it away
Then flashed stock dbt firm.
In phone it says i got latest update. No errors.
But in kies says same thing like my firmw. Not supports kies updates..
Csc dbt and firmw. Dbt
Flash counter reseted....

my codes matches
hey, i rooted triangle away it unrooted and flashed stock dbt
i did prieviously changed csc from uk one fo DBT german
so its looks like that now (see pic)
but still in phone settings it says i got latest update, no errors
but in kies says firmw. not supported

Something is still not official with your firmware. You may have activated the "fuse" security feature. When you have stock firmware do you have wifi and sound?

what u mean?
i did factory reset from settings, like 2 times
its clean install, codes matches, counter is on 0 or 1 not sure
i think update works in phone but kies not
its not too bad i guess, i can update OTA in phone, even better and quicker then kies
just like to solve problems, and like all works right
yes got wifi and sound, everything works smooth

Use Samsung Kies, update manual via USB from your PC. If you stil prefer OTA, try next day or the day after.

A couple of things....sure someone can cook a ROM and/or port a ROM but it won't be "official" and in the case of the Verizon Note 3...as of this point in time, can't be done in any event because of the locked bootloader.
Added in edit: And now I see in the next thread....that the bootloader unlock is now available....so....I guess all I said above about the Verizon Note 3 just changed!

Does anyone know what would happen if we installed the generic T817 firmware on the SM-T817T model? Would it simply disable the LTE aspect of the tablet? I don't really care about the LTE, personally.
