They pushed the date up because of the iPhone 5s ." She sounded very excited and giddy when she told me . I did call another best buy right before this and he only knew of sept 4 sprint store rollout. Crossing my fingers !!!

I was just told the same thing by a Samsung-shirted employee in the Samsung Experience area of a Best Buy in Tualatin, Oregon. I specifically asked about availability for AT&T, and the employee answered "September 27th."
Still don't believe it. These people won't know anything until a higher up gets word from another higher up like a day before.

Just called my local best buy in Buffalo NY. I was told the phone would be available for purchase on the 27th. That was the date in the computer.

I don't trust Best Buy since the Thunderbolt debacle they had. I pre-ordered it and was told by the sales reps week after week it was coming next week. They even had it listed in their weekly flyer as coming next week, 3 weeks in a row!

Best Buy shouldn't receive before att ships out its orders, So if they are releasing on the 27th, I expect att to be shipping mine soon...
Yeah, I'm thinking Best Buy might be making a mistake. In this screenshot from Bestbuy.com you can see release dates show as September 27th, but it also shows White one has Android 4.3, and Black one is Android 4.2.2?

Any word on the date of the unlocked version? I may buy through best buy if it's available on Friday, but I would only buy the t-mo or international version... Basically, any GSM based note 3 with an unlocked bootloader.

I have called two sprint stores and went by my local sprint shop. All three of them had no clue as to what i was talking about. They all sent me to the same online web sign up for notifications. Just FYI

+1. Got to see how locked down it is before I make the move. I have a lot of confidence in the XDA folks being able to hack it but if encryption is involved that is another story. Also strongly considering the Galaxy S2, but stil leaning to the 3D.

I went to the Sprint store by my job and they said they knew nothing about accepting preorders for the Evo 3D yet. I went to the Radio Shack by my job and asked them how many people had gone there to preorder it and they told me none. So I paid my $50 and reserved my spot in the front of the line.
I'll be getting it on release day without fail.

I heard spring is doing instant rebates now but last year was awesome with the evo, they called me and set up an appointment for me to come in so they don't have a million people in the store at the same time. Was pretty happy with the experience there.

I have looked around and haven't really found a thread on this, so I wanted to start one.
Can people who have been to their local AT&T stores report what the sales reps are telling you about GS3 availability?
My local stores are now saying they will be in stock on Monday, June 25th. Is this consistent with what anyone else has been told? Has anyone actually gone into an AT&T store and found that they did in fact get them in stock today?

the ultimate insult for pre-order geeks like myself would be to be able to walk in a store and buy a phone off the shelf that millions of people who pre-ordered are still waiting for.....that would be a PR nightmare no matter what carrier you are on
if I were PR for any of them I would tell all the stores to keep them "on backorder status" until the majority or all pre-orders are fulfilled

i have talked with three at&t's stores here in houston..........
all of them had said, the 28th....and that they were getting 2 order/shipments....one for pre-orders and one for instore(first come first serve)
I was in my local AT&T store today because the sim card sent with my phone wasn't LTE so they swapped it out. They had no idea when the phones were coming in but they had just got cases while I was there.

Went to my local store twice in the last week and called another. My store told me that it was going to be available in store on 20th June. On 20th I was told that they have no idea when its coming and check back on 24th. One store that I called told me that they had no idea because there is no form official communication from AT&T. Both stores didn't even have display models.
I understand that people who pre-ordered feel entitled to have the phone before anyone else , but there have been plenty of launches where people got their preordered phones after the launch date. Preordering doesn't put you first in line, it guarantees you a device... Ugh... Get ourselves.

but if there is enough stock to "launch", assuming you mean phones in stores for walk in buyers, there was enough phones to fulfill preorders, which came first...
I have checked my local store several times and was told the official release date would be June 28..

I,ve heard from someone that they might be calling orders up to imform them tonite, but truthfully dont like the way bestbuy is handling this. They have to have them in their stock room by now, so why not just shoot an email to those of us patiently waiting.
Just got an email from Bestbuy telling me I can pick up my order starting tomorrow but no later than Saturday.
Unfortunately for BestBuy and Sprint, I have decided to switch to AT&T and bought a TMo phone in the interim. The Note 4 is waiting on my doorstep as I type.
Still haven't heard anything for the Verizon Note 4 yet fromBBY. Rumors are showing that Verizon is now launching with everyone else tomorrow, but I can't find anything to confirm this.

Arrogant employee's in my opinion. It was 4:50, walked into the commack store, and told them to just cancel. I had called AT&T store near me, they couldn't be nicer. Salesman wanted to sell me phone today, but manager wouldn't let. They put one in safe for me, its 100 per cent guarantee....no emails from best buy, and they have nerve to say they haven't received shipment. Thats a crock, cause I know for a fact AT&T had their phones in the back for a week now, won't deal with Bestbuy again if I can help it. Im done. Good luck to all.

Ordered on the 7th. No movement. I don't expect to see it until the 19th.
Placed my preorder in store on the 3rd for store pickup. No email yet, but I am hopeful. Maybe early pickup tomorrow. If not, I will be there waiting first thing Friday morning.

If you're waiting for a Note 7 from you pre-order, contact other area Best Buys and see if they have one in their inventory. Then have the BB that you did the pre-order with set up a transfer arrangement and you can have the store with the inventory send a unit to the store you did the pre-order from, and then have that store cancel the pre-order. I had to do that myself to get my Note 7 and it DOES work...just have to have managers who are trying to be nice.
I called T-mobile today regarding returning my note 7, and exchange for another samsung phone. They asked me if i can wait a few more days because samsung releasing a new phone, i thought that was the s8, but when i asked the lady, she said, samsung is releasing Galaxy Note 7 MR on Dec, 27th, and pre order start on Dec, 20. she put me on the waiting list, as she said, i am the first one on the list, as well they sent me a return label to my email, to send the note 7, once i get my new Note 7 MR.
and since i am note 7 holder, they are gonna wave the down payment, basicly they are gonna take all my note 7 payments as well the down payment for the old note 7, and applied for the new one.
anyway, they should call me on the 20th to place my pre order, and shipping start on 27th.

MR almost certainly stands for "Manufacturer Reconditioned". I expect this is just the usual nonsense that comes out of carriers now and then. It could even be something that was put in the system before the recall.

I'm a manager in a corporate retail location and the only place I've seen the verbiage "Note 7, MR, and Dec 27th" are in regards to the Maintenance Release to disable the Note 7 which will occur on December 27th.
Been regretting turning mine over every day lol.
i called again today, and they confirmed that. it is Note 7 MR. release on 27th.

I highly doubt it's a new phone being released, most likely the update that's been mentioned.
This is not true and it doesn't make any sense. If they where to release a new Note 7 then there would be an exchange program and it would have been announced. Not just an update to Cripple your phone.
