[Q] Request: stock rom backup (any version) for a5_DUG Asia_HK_CHT (CID: HTC__622)

Hey guys, after searching on google for several days, I can't find a backup for this dual sim phone from Hong Kong.
Can any of you please help me??

1. Download RUU -

I newbie and this is my 1st post and i can't provide link,
Just copy link/address above and do the correction of the end the link from RZvnnnf sOVw to RZvnnnfsOVw
2. Rename downloaded RUU to 0PFJIMG.zip
3. Relock your Bootloader (if unlocked)
Please find yourself for relock instruction.
4. Copy 0PFJIMG.zip to the ROOT OF EXTERNAL SD CARD.
5. Boot into Bootloader
6. Now HBOOT will detect 0PFJIMG.zip on your EXTERNAL SD CARD, just follow the HBOOT instruction and wait until the installation complete.
After installation complete, your phone will be like new, fully stock. Now you can get OTA from SETTING > ABOUT > SOFTWARE UPDATE. you will received 2x update :
Application Update
OTA 2.10.708.5

Nope. 820s Rom and Chipset are different with 820u.

Too many variant for this 820. Even I, accidentally bough 820s. But, i immediately swap it with 820u imported Hong Kong version. [emoji38]

Dear Brother,
I bought an HTC Desire 820 dual SIM from a person. I found that the device was rooted and kingRoot was used there. It was Kitkat OS version 4.4.4 then. I found that the USB to the PC connectivity is not working. I installed an App to know the status of USB host and it was showing me that my USB Host is disabled and I need the su access to enable it may be. Other problem is that only vibration is working on incoming calls though I selected normal profile setting with both ringtone and vibration. But the ringtone sound is happening when I select any ringtones from the Sound menu. Don't know. When I want to update my phone it downloads the update and when I try to install that update it is showing me variant Error saying that "You are using modified version of Android and For security reason we could not update your phone. Please revert back to the Official Android." I don't know how I can get back to the official Android as my USB connection to the PC is not working at all. Please help me. I want to get back to the Official Android.
The followings are the information of my phone.

Yours is a S-OFFed Chninese varient.

And yours the same.
You both can install any dual sim RUU you found on this forum as you are both S-OFFed, but do note that you can only flash an equal or newer than your device original RUU.

How To Flash MM to HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim

Hello everybody
i need help for upgrade my HTC 820 dual sim to MM
current os is KK 4.4.4 (i flashed it - with xda members help :good: - and for luck it was an official ruu as shown in my phone details below)
i got a notification about 70MB update (i think it for android LP) but when i downloaded it i got a msg that mean my phone's software is modified
any help ??

i didn't use any recovery files .. i used the original

As your device showing s off that's y this error.
And while you HaVe s off u can direct flash any ROM.

Can't remember my stock firmware..?

I was trying out different ROM's, and I forgot my stock firmware version. The phone is bought in Macedonia ( so it must be European, C432 ) and it is a Dual SIM. Can someone help me?

P.S: I'm currently on C432B160 rollback and the bootloader is still unlocked..? I need it go back to LOCKED.

i think if you go to emui 5 and rollback next to emui4.1.1 the bootloader lockes by him self

Find Nougat RUU and downgrade to Nougat. Then you can update to Oreo again.

Check your CID and MID (You can find some app to do this on Google Play). If have same CID and MID, you can try download this OTA 8.0 and flash by stock recovery.

There is any way to bypass the stock recovery and flash with another way? FlashFire or something like that?
