Hi,
If you are sure you want the latest from Samsung.
Look HERE
Have you read about what the latest firmware does to your phone?

Can I reset to the official without losing the root??

No. If you flash stock firmware you'll lose root. If you want it back, you need to re-root (and heed the warning you've been given above re:
Samsung's f*****y with their recent firmware).

And how can I back my apps without titanium???

Apps (without data) can be backed up with Astro File Manager from Play Store. It's free.

does it need root??

I understand. But apart from the OTA updates on the phone, There is Kies. But I'm not sure about the consequences and all.
If you update via kies you will loose your root but im not sure kies will let you update with a rooted rom.
Never used kies cause its trash

[Q] How to remove stock whatsapp?

Hi, I'm using a Malaysian version of note 4 SM-N910C.
It comes pre-installed with Whatsapp. I wish to remove it as I want to use whatsapp-plus instead. whatsapp-plus wouldn't installed when the original whatsapp still in the system. Is there anyway remove it without voiding the warranty?
Thank you..

How to hide? Do u mean 'disable' it? I've tried disable the app from application manager, but my whatsapp-plus still won't install as it detects whatsapp still in the system..
Tq..

It only hide the app from the app-drawer. It doesnt remove the app from the system.
When i tried install whatsapp-plus, it is not possible as the original whatsapp is still in the ROM.
Is there anyway to remove it without rooting or rooting but keep warranty intact..
Thank you..

once again if you want to uninstall any system apps you must root your device. after root knox will become 0x1 mean that warranty void.

Yeah i know abt voiding warranty after root vry well, that is why i have not proceed with rooting. The reason i start this thread is find out if there is anyway to uninstall system apps without rooting.
So now i know. Thanks..
Same bro....ialso want to remove whatsapp...so now thinking...want root or not....

Stock whatsapp comes with 1yr subscription or .... ?
If one would set Whatsapp Plus version number higher than the Whatsapp version number , you should still be able to install Whatsapp Plus version over the regular version as an update about it .

Find the ROM from another region (which doesn't bundle whatsapp) for the same Note 4 model. It won't change neither KNOX nor custom status and doesn't require any custom recovery and even root.

This may be a dumb question. .but if u root a phone does that mean u wont be receiving firmware updates anymore ? And whats the story with root and Knox. . And if u decide to root how would u do that. .whats the benefit of root.. ?? And lastly can u undo the root if u decide to in the future ?
Sorry for all the dumb questions

I never used OTA updates and never had problem with it. You always can install update through Odin.
Android without root is not an android, imho.
U can still get firmware update. Not through OTA but through KIES. U will lose the root access after that but other contents still remained

By default it will not delete data using Mobile ODIN, But it's good to do hard reset if you upgrade to Lillipop.
For rooting Lillipop by keeping Knox 0x0 you can use MOP.
this method. Lollipop
If you are on N9005 download this ROM, for N900 download this ROM.

Remove your battery for 2 minutes, then turn it on into Recovery mode, clear cache and reboot again.
If still issue is present then again go into recovery and wipe data.
It's fixed now, Thanks!

Greetings, My S8 used to have a custom rom installed with root, but i went back to stock rom yesterday using Odin but now when i try to log into my S-Health it says my phone is rooted! I've downloaded root checker and it said my phone "isn't properly rooted". i don't know what to do, i don't want to root the phone again but i need to get the s-health working again. I've also read some posts here and some people have tried installing an old version of s-health which i tried but it didn't work for me as well

Question: Can I perform an OTA update on my Magisk rooted S10+?

Hi,
I rooted my S10+ using the magisk patch on the firmware. I've read an article on thecustomdroid where it says I can perform an OTA without losing root. Is this correct?
Thanks in advance
Yes it can be. just make sure it's not UI update (just security/fix) update. because if it a new UI update may you not get stable experience with magisk app for incompatible issues
