Galaxy S4 no image after samung screen - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wiping data in the teamwin recovery, and when I boot now, there is no system, or if there is, I can't see it. It will boot up and show the Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 logo, but black screen after that. What can I do?

Go back in recovery and flash a rom through adb sideload or flash a stock rom wirh Odin. Sideload how to http://teamw.in/ADBSideload, for how to use adb see itme 1 in my signature. Or turn off the phone, remove the external sdcard and place a rom on it and flash that in recovery.

I'm gonna use ODIN, but what stock firmware do I get? I'm in the US, but I know there isn't one for the United States. Which one is the closest?

Better look in the US thread then for a rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2257.

But that could screw my phone up more couldn't it? I have the i9500, I bought it from Newegg cuz it was unlocked.

Does it matter what country's firmware I use?

I personaly would take the German MBC or the Russian SER rom.

God, that download is slow lol

Great, now ODIN gets stuck at setup connection. I've tried two different versions, changed usb ports, and nothing.

Is it that I9500 exactly? Did you grab the PIT file for it? Can you still get into recovery mode?

It could be Knox... Enter in download mode and check if you can see a line called KNOX WARRANTY VOID. If you have it, please go to this thread.

Sorry, you can not return to 4.3 stock firmware once you have written the 4.4 bootloader
You can try to write stock 4.4.

If it is for the same model and region as your N9005 it could/should work, otherwise you might still see problems. Be careful not to confuse Hong-Kong 16GB model with EU 32GB models, also there have been some problems with other hardware or CSC combinations.

Cannot Unroot i9505 to stock rom, Odin errors.

I cant seem to unroot my phone at all back to a stock rom. It looks like an authentication problem with knox, but im not sure.
The rom im trying to flash is the I9505XXUHOJ2_I9505YXYHOK1_I9505XXUHOJ2.
Ive tried using a pit file before and it ended up soft bricking the phone.
Im really sick of CM13 and 12 and I'd love to get back to stock.

On the phone, it says STAT [224,1440]
Enter download mode and read off the model number on the screen please?
The failure after trying to flash aboot.mbn indicates the rom being flashed has an older bootloader than the bootloader currently on the phone. Not sure if your phone has a downgradeable bootloader.
@audit13: I really need to read logs a bit more thoroughly.
That said, I think the bootloader can be downgraded, so long as the replacement has Knox included. I haven't tried it however, so you could just as easily be right.
The bootloader is probably not locked but I don't think a bootloader can be downgraded to 4.3 or older.
Honestly, I can't remember.

stock firmware of a300f for a300f/ds

hello, this is my first post, so take it easy on me, I have an SM-a300f/ds and I rooted the phone, it was on 5.0.2, it worked fine but after a restart the phone did not boot up and I cannot enter recovery, the only choice I have is download mode (bootloader). And I found out this issue exist. now in order to make the phone work again i need to install the stock firmware and i download one, it was "4.4.4 Russia" from sammobile, the result was fail. the phone was bought in Iraq, so could it have been the "country/carrier" thing that it failed?

Did u unplug the phone while it was downloading?
If not flash twrp through odin, then enter in recovery (you should able to do this) and wipe data, cache, dalvik and system, then flash the stock firmware

Try again with:
Another USB port
Another USB cable
Another PC
Another Windows version
Another Odin version.
Odin stops after trying to b flash about.mbn which leads me to believe the rom is not for the phone or the phone bootloader is newer than the bootloader you are trying to flash.
