Humm not sure.. i have heard its possible using some app however unable to find one

Popup Browser is an always on-top browser that doesn't pause the app underneath and can be resized and transformed (geometrically).

It's not always on, of course. If you're on Paranoid Android, you can use the HALO app to make it a persistently accessible notification. You just open your notification drawer and tap on it, or use HALO, just as androidGod intended.

try omni rom....it boasts a multi window feature and has got great performance too

try xhalofloating window .. install xposed installer first then install the framework and then download xhalofloatingwindow and install it

there are 2 or 3 custom roms that does that.

[Q] Inverted / Negative screen

I was wondering if there is a way to invert all the colors on the screen. This is a feature on iOS (triple-button press with accessibility), and also its a stock widget on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
I searched for an app that would do this but to no luck. Is this possible on stock Nexus 4?
Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Thank you
I don't think there is anything that can do this on stock Android unfortunately. The only type of apps with similar function is the ones that overlay the screen with a translucent black or coloured overlay so that you can read at night without straining your eyes.

I have one other question : WHY ?
If you want to use phone at night, simply install a dark theme

Thanks Chrono_Tata, yeah thats all I could find as well, might resort to the screen overlays for now.
I guess I'm just used to the iPod Touch, where I could on-demand triple-press the home button and it would invert the screen. This was convenient when viewing white-background webpages, PDFs, etc.
I know that some apps support themes however not everything does. Having a system-level on-demand toggle would be in my case more convenient than ensuring the apps I use support themes and managing each apps themes individually.

camera stuff

Haven't seen this posted yet. Open camera and on left side click arrow.
Many effects plus at bottom click get more and takes u to Samsung store with more free effects. Here are a few I downloaded.
Camera software is getting more impressive, used to have to download other cam apps to get all the features that samsung put in this badass Note 3

Do you happen to know if those effects are downloaded as apk etc. I have Samsung store disabled, It would be nice to get effects with out signing up. It's rooted of course.

for some reason when I click "download" the camera simply reloads itself... I get no list of downloadable filters

You need to have the Samsung App store.
Cool find Thanks. All filters work for video as well.

Can I "hide" the soft keys without pie?

I like having the soft keys always present, as compared to using pie, but I want 3 dots instead of actual icons all the time so it doesn't feel too intrusive. Is this possible?

Depends on the ROM. On most of them you can just theme the navbar icons. So, yes it's possible. Check out the themes and apps forum section.
cheers

[Feature Request] Cursor Right & Left Arrows on Nav Bar

I really miss having this from Cataclysm on my Nexus 5 every time the keyboard popped up. Would be amazing if someone could make a flashable zip that could add this to a stock, rooted ROM.

That's good to know but I love how Cataclysm could make this work with any keyboard. I happen to be a fan of the stock Google keyboard and with this setting enabled, you'd get left and right arrow keys on other side of the home button. Best solution I've seen.

Smart View for Note 4?

do we know if we're getting the new Smart View screen mirroring option once Marshmallow is released?

You can download the app in galaxy apps.

I tried that app on my note 4 but that's not what I'm looking for, because with the new Marshmallow instead of Screen Mirroring, it says Smart View and then you connect to a wireless display, then you can choose the audio path like the picture below, I want to know whoever has the Marshmallow on their Note 4, could someone confirm if that option is available?
