Syncmldm.apk -> Software Update (thanx to mkruseonline)
Wssyncmlnps.apk -> Samsung Sync Application (thanx to mkruseonline)
SysScope.apk - it's the package that checks whether the ROM is modified (thanx to metalboy94)
DataCreate.apk - seems to be some form of factory test app, not actually used (thanx to metalboy94)
remember always make a nandroid back up before experimenting with ur device.
i dont know functions of all the apps. just know that these are the files that may be claimed as JUNK.
some apps ( resembling almost same names ) are components of each other. one may not work without other.
app quarantine is a very good free app to freeze these things if ur just an average user ( dont delete from system/ app folder)..
if ur a new developer then this list is meant for u.. u can delete this apps from system/app folder before building roms.
and last but not the least :
i tested it myself. leaves ur device with only the core or necessary apps... but im not responsible for any damaget to ur device. if something goes wrong then restore from nandroid back up.
P.S : can some one recommend this to be pinned as it may help newbie developers in future and save the chunk of time.

FreeX10 Apps Safe To Remove

Is there a list of stock APKs that are safe to remove the the FreeX10 Beta3? If not we should compose one here?
Is there any good reason to remove apps from the FreeX10 rom? In my opinion, it's not blooted.
Well just looking at the app drawer I see things like News/Weather, Facebook/Twitter, Calculator, Live Wallpaper, KickBack, etc.
File Manager (I use root explorer)
News & Weather app
Twitter (I use twicca)
Facebook (If you are not using it)
Carhome
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
google search & voice ...

[r800x]Removable System Apps

I am creating this thread for a list of which apps you can remove from the r800x's system. This thread is meant SPECIFICALLY for r800x which is why I am not posting a reply in the existing thread located here!
THESE APPS DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED, I AM JUST LISTING WHICH ONES CAN BE REMOVED WITHOUT MESSING UP THE PHONE!!! (meaning FC's, etc.)
I recommend that you move these apps to your SD card instead of deleted them or renaming their extensions!
Stand-alone apps (Apps that do not require other apps to function properly):

Bluetooth.apk - Bluetooth app (REQUIRED FOR BLUETOOTH TO FUNCTION)

GenieWidget.apk - News and weather app

officesuite.apk - Office Suite app (you may get it in the market)

PsclassicWallpaper.apk - Classic Ps live wallpaper
PsoriginalWallpaper.apk - original PS live wallpaper
SemcGallery3D.apk - Stock 3D gallery (alternative Galleries are on the market, I recommend QuickPic)
SetupWizard.apk - The setup app that runs on the first boot of android or after a factory reset

CustomizedSettings.apk
googleFeedback.apk
GooglePartnerSetup.apk
IddAgen.apk
preinstalledservice.apk
semc-fumo.apk
SemcCrashMonitor.apk
After removing these apps, I HIGHLY recommend you install "Sd Maid" from the market to remove all data related to these apps!!!
After all the apps and data are removed, delete all the .dex files taht are located in /data/dalvik-cache, and then reboot your phone!
The reason for deleting these files is that they are files that are re-created by the system on boot for any apps you have installed, whether they are in the system or installed from the market. That means when you reboot after deleting these files, your phone will reboot slower then usual because it is created the dalvik cache from your existing apps. It will only do this once, so your phone will not reboot slow every time.
This is my first thread on XDA, so please click thanks if this helped you!
If you know any other apps that may be removed, or know what the unused apps do, please tell me!
Hey Sonic...big thanks for this...isn't it great that we're rooted now?

Great list, I cleared pretty much everything able, applied dalvik mod and im up to 342mb free storage. Thanks for this.
Dont Delete "preinstalledservice.apk"
This app is needed for Crash Bandicoot to still run and download game data. I tried a lot of different variables to find that without the preinstalledservice.apk None of the Playstation certified games would make it past "updating" screen.

Are you sure you just didn't remove launcher2 without having an alternative launcher first?

I have done it twice, both times it crashed the phone to the point of having to Flashtool back to life. and i am certain it is VZ Navigator because it was the only application i removed.

I actually removed VZ Navigation before I remembered to check this thread after Zergrushing. I obviously haven't had this problem, which is strange, but I never launched the app at all. Or I'm lucky! It's been a week...

Its the CDMA r800x.
And i have never used it either, i just rooted it and needed to free up some space. Idk all i know is that this is very annoying...

Thanks for the list, didn't have the navigator problem My problem was deleting my avatar "preinstalledservice.apk" I keep him there to remind me of the day I lost him. Anyway Deleted all but the games, flash, browser, and all that was in red. little struggle with that verizon.hss or what-not didn't let me hit the power option onscreen. I have to say phone is running a lot faster, LOTS MORE RAM to enjoy on other things. any way thanks again for replying so fast
Encase any one does delete any thing without back up (LikeME) Mills00013 has all system files for R800x http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201725

Deleting BloatWare (Personal opinion)

Not needed/redundant STOCK apps safely deleted with Titanium BackUp:
1. Chat On (Personally I use WhatsApp)
2. Chrome (I prefer Dolphin Browser)
3. E Mail (I keep G Mail instead)
4. Game Hub (Play Store is enough for me)
5. Google + (I use FaceBook only)
6. Help (Read XDA instead!!!)
7. Internet (Dolphin!!!)
8. Messenger (WhatsApp)
9. Play Movies (I don´t see movies in my phone)
10. Play Books (Same)
11. S Suggest (Google Play)
12. S Voice (Keep Voice Search of Google Now)
13. Samsung Apps (Google Play)
14. Talk (WhatsApp again)
15. Video Hub (Same as Play Movies)
16. Video Player (I choose MX Player)
Suggestions are accepted, of course.
Don´t forget 3 little things:
-Do a full BackUp first at all!!!
-Freeze the App before deleting it. And if it all keep working delete safely
-Clean up Dalvik cache
UPDATE: Also dafe to remove:
1. User manual
2. Yahoo Finances
3. Yahoo News
4. Live Wallpapers
*Mood change*

Dont know yet, havent tried it on our phone.
But this article http://www.xda-developers.com/android/easily-remove-bloatware-from-your-rom-via-recovery/ specifies that it might work on stock recovery.
CWM
Until a version of CWM will be avaible for our phone, pre-rooted stock firmware is the only option I know.
I think using Titanium BackUp manually is our only choice for lighten our official ROM.
Dou you agree with me?
Battery
I choose to delete these apps no for getting free memory, because 4,5 GB are enough for me (My former phone only had 221 MB!!!). I choose to do it for keeping bloatware draining my battery running in background or whenever you use them.
For this is also useful useful 2 easy "tricks":
1. AdFree
2. Droid Wall
A lot of "free" apps use bandwith (and battery) everytime you use them. Keeping them to access internet you save both bandwith and battery.

What i personally do is go the Settings > Applications and disable every app that i dont need.
This is a new Jelly Bean feature!
You guys can try it until a cwm or root will be available for our device.

There is a ClockWorkMod ROM manager for Samsung Galaxy Mini and for Samsung Galaxy III but no yet for our S III Mini:
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
You can use bloatware remover also (free from play store) it also has option to backup
I need to revome a ton of stuff. Thanks!
Here‘s my list of system applications I froze with Titanium on my I8190 and with which I haven’t encountered any troubles so far. If I didn’t find out what an application actually does I didn’t freeze it.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING TOUCHWIZ DEACTIVATION: this was the step I was most nervous about because if you’re stuck without a working launcher you’re obviously in trouble! What worked for me was installing Holo Launcher HD, make this the default launcher, make it a system app with Titanium and only then freeze Touchwiz Home. I didn’t encounter any problem after reboot.
DISCLAIMER: Disabling these applications worked for my personal device, only! Any changes you make to your system are at your own risk. I am not resonsible for any damage this may cause to your device. I strongly advise you to make a Nandroid backup beforehand.

[Q][N910F] Is there a list of applications that are safe to be removed/deleted?

It seems that there is no thread yet about a list of applications that can be safely deleted/removed from Galaxy Note 4 [910F] . Would there be someone out there kind enough to make the list?
This is what i disabled.
Sent from my SM-N910F using XDA Free mobile app
http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note-4/456824-rooted-apps-safe-remove-samsung-note-4-sprint-version-stock-rooted-ongoing.html
I know it's a different version to our phone, but the list should apply to our phone too.

Also by just Searching on Google, no need for a new thread about this, here https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=note+4+apps+safe+to+remove

Remember GOOGLE is your best friend,
cheers:fingers-crossed:
Thank you for all the replies. For those of you who were so kind enough to post links...yes I've been there and aware that Google is everyone's friend. However there are some apps in that list that my device does not have and there are some apps in my device that is not in that list. Best explanation is that list as the title states is for Sprint. I am also wondering about the completeness of that list as FB, Instagram are not included in that list which obviously can be removed without any ill effects to device. There are still more apps that I'm quite sure that can be removed but I'm just hoping someone would provide a list just to confirm, hence the thread.

Or just use Package Disabler Pro which is safer and doesn't require TWRP or root.
Thanks for the list, will try disabling a lot of those that I don't use

I found with Package Disabler Pro do not use "Disable all Bloatware" I did and couldn't find my sd card listed
make sure you use manual and are sure what you are disabling.....or you'll disable some necessary system apps ....

I ended up double checking the stuff that wasn't so obvious. There are a few XDA posts on the S6 and S7 forum on which ones are safe to disable and what a lot of the obscure named ones actually do.
I've exported my package disabler pro list to xml here in case anyone want's it. Everything on the phone works perfect (I use nova launcher, google keyboard, hangouts messenger and google voice services so all the samsung equivalent packages are killed)
Copy all and paste into a txt file, save as an XML file, put on phone and import from package disabler pro.
BTW, if anyone notices anything in my list that should actually be turned back on, let me know.

Yes. I didn't want any of those but they are clearly labeled in the list of services so they'd be easy to uncheck to re-enable.
Basically, there were a lot of 3rd party apps from google or whoever that I am either used to already using or like using better than the samsung equivalent and I disabled those samsung services or apps. On the other hand, I've come to really enjoy using the samsung calendar, contacts, phone dialer and file explorer vs the 3rd party apps or google apps of those that I was using on my 6P so I didn't do a blanket disable of everything that came with the phone.

Awesome! Thank you. I did one early from the ATT forums and it did awesome. I'll have to go through and see what I want to keep. Like you I tend to keep some samsung apps. If anything I can disable them and re-enable them.

So ran it and my phone goes into constant vibrate mode lol. Any idea why?
Edit: has to do with Samsung pay. I'll play around with it.

So the phone is just vibrating non stopped or all notifications are vibrate only?
Are you using a 3rd party keyboard, messaging app, launcher and chrome browser? All of the samsung equivalents are disabled on mine so if you're missing something to take the place of the samsung app that's disabled for any of those things, the phone may not be liking that.
Also, are you on t-mobile?
If not, I'd remove all the t-mobile specific stuff from the xml file.
If all else fails, you can just re-enabled everything, reboot the phone, make sure it's operating normally and then start going through the list re-disabling various items and seeing if you stumble upon one that produces the strange vibrate thing.

My phone is insanely fast but it removed Email.
Any way I can get that back? I'm on BPH6 firmware, N930FD.

Download the gmail app and enjoy that instead...
That or open package disabler pro app and UNcheck the "Email" item in the list.
I have a Note 7 SM-930T (T-mobile). We do not have an unlocked bootloader but have acquired root. We use FlashFire to backup, restore and flash mods for our phone. Can I flash this mod via FlashFire with NO worry of any issues? Thanks a bunch guys.
