[Q] Problem with the USB data transfer

Hi all,
Im using Windows 8, and my problem is, that I conect the N4 in USB port and when im trying to transfer files to the internal memory, the device stop responding and there is no way to fking pass the files!!! The same sh%%^t happends with my old galaxy nexus.
I changed my pc, so, shoul be the phone....
Anyone knows what I can do??!

Use Airdroid instead. Copy files from PC to phone over Wi-Fi.
EDIT: Is USB Debugging enabled? I used to have the odd issue with file copy over USB while I had it enabled. Disabling it worked for me (Galaxy Nexus).

[Q] Missing folders

Hy. Today I want to update my MI8 on my S4 via Odin to MJ5. But after I connected my phone via USB cable on the "Phone" drive there was only 1 folder called Samsung (contain the Music/Over the Horizon.mp3) and that is all. Change to PTP/MTP gave the same results.
I have no KIES/KIES 3 on my laptop. But on my phone I can access my all folder no matter where they are.
So what is the problem? How can I fix it?

i have galaxy i9505 32gb with stock rom not rooted
and when i try to connect the phone to my pc to transfer files from the phone to pc and reverse
when i try to copy and paste nothing happened
not from the phone to the pc
and not from pc to the phone
and i talk about phone itself , without sdcard at all...
on the other hand
on another pc it working good
any one have an idea how can i solve it ?

First reboot your PC. If this not works, try another USB port. Seems that your PC is the problem.

i tried that already
and i know it something with the pc
because it work on other pc's...
but i don't know what
i tried to install older version of samsung usb drivers....
and the problematic pc was formated just recently

[Q] LG-G2 (D802) on CM11-M4 - Usb Connection Lost Between File Transfer

Hello,
since i install CM11-M4 (before i have original Rom from LG installed) the USB to my Win7 PC lost while i copy .mp3 files onto the LG-G2 after 5-10 files. After disconnect and reconnect the USB connection i can copy again 5 to 10 files and then the connection lost / freeze again. Windows "says" it is not able to copy the file and abort.
The Problem also happens as .jpg files. But what i observe is, that the connection is only lost, if i transfered files are bigger then ~4MB. If i use ~2MB files the problem not occure
In USB setting of the LG the "MTB" is enabled,
Is this a know problem and is therfore a solution ?

Hi,
I make on more observation.
If i copy the files one by one, then i can copy infinite files. So thats hard, if you want to copy a few albums to the phone . But if i try to copy more then 10 files in one procedure, then the USB connection hangs.
The same probleme occures on a second PC with Windows 8.

I have the same issue here, I don't know how to fix it, I'm running last cm11, from 0324
win7 or win8.1, same issue

Try putting all your music in one folder and copying them like that. If that doesnt work then upgrade your drivers

transfer MP4 file to the PC

Hello.
So I tried to transfer mp4 file today from SGS4 to my PC and weird behaviour occured.
When connected to the PC via USB, the phone shows only jpg files (when it comes to media files).
I can't see any mp4 and apk files.
What should I do to be able to see all files under PC's windows explorer?
I have i9506, stock 5.0.1, no root, USB debugging on and off tried.
I have the ADB driver installed - I can browse all files on my other phone, SGS2, with no problem..

You can also use something like Airdroid. Much more stable imo.

Do you think that rooting may have sth to do with it?
Generally 5.0.1 is blocked in many ways. In SGS2 I have 4.1.2 with custom Rom and root.

No it has nothing to do with it.

Can u see all the phone folders?
If not my suggestion is to download the latest samsung usb drivers.

install samsung usb drivers or kies and select mass storage it should work

O changed rom and now it works fine. Thanks.
