Which Ad network is generating more revenue with Push,Icon and Smartwall - Mobile Ad Networks

I want to use different ad network for Push,Icon and Smartwall in an app. Anyone can suggest me which ad network generating more revenue with specific ad.

I would not use push ads. They are recognized as malware by some AntiVirus programms. There will be negative comments.

Google take the Push Ads like malware, and is removing apps from Market...
My recommendation: use non intrusive ads generally, or if you have the posibility (a game for example), use in-app payments and TapJoy like ad network.

I think it's in the Play Store guidelines.
I do know, however, that people will be uninstalling with anything bigger than simple banners. I know I do .

I agree that push ads are just annoying. You've got to have a pretty amazing product in order for most people to deem push ads acceptable. Though, if they pay enough then maybe you can afford to gain only 5-10% active installs.

However, the position in the Google Play search results is influenced heavily by your active installs.
So it will be very far down the list.

Air push has got to be one of THE most intrusive ****ing ad offerings out there. Unless you want to burn at the stake (and by me personally) don't EVER consider pushing this malware like piece of **** out to users devices!!!
You should be ashamed for even considering.
That and a number of others are on my HIGHLY most hated list at the moment. I would rather pay for an app than have that crap on my phone. Maybe take my last words into consideration eh?

What do u think about StarApplication?
There's a lot of ad networks that uses flexible monetize.
It doesn't have to be ad push. I agree it's so annoying.
A couple of them have a 'exit ad' sdk.

Admob is fine
I am satisfied with admob. It has no special ads, but neither Leadbolt nor Airpush brought me more money, than admob.

Please use Interstitals or creative ads to get higher revenues in any ad networks..

Hello @m4manish8248, you can have a look at Pollfish. Pollfish provides a new interactive monetization method for mobile apps, delivering surveys instead if ads. Each completed survey through your app pays minimum $0.30.

In my experience, Adsota is good
I have great experience in Push, Icon, and Smartwall with Adsota and its eCPM is good.

When you download a free app from the marketplace a majority of them happen to have ad banners (which in some case's isn't a problem)

Using ads is an alternate way to generate revenue on an app, almost exactly like running ads on a website (but not have as an actual full time business for instance).
If the ad is within an app the money goes directly to the developer.

That all depends on the popularity of the app as well as the placement. I know there are several apps that place banners right about a "submit" button, so people with big hands may accidentally hit the add.
Yes, they get revenue from rooted phones. It's the application that is generating the revenue. But who knows, maybe the new Android Licensing feature may reduce this?
Ya was curious about all the ads I've seen some in the free games some in horrible locations and others in better locations others with none

Admob or other ad provider

Hi, my question is really odd so I hope this is the right place
I'm mobile developer and I make a game so I will upload in google play...
but I 've a problem, Iwant to gain money with ads..
but I can't receive any payment, for this year, (don't ask me why ) so my question is this:
I use admob and he pays every $20 or more so can I raise the "barrier" to $200.000 or there's a way to suspend for a year the payments?
or there's any other ads provider (better if good ads provider) where I can choose when I get payments....

well you can set up admob account if you dont set up payment settings they will "Hold" your money to the next month, so you only set up when you are ready tto receive money and thats all
Leadbolt has a minimum of $100 before they pay out. They use paypal, your bank, or payooner. Payout is based on NET 15 once a month after you reach $100 of course. Also you have to request a payment, they wont simply pay you lol so you could let it build to say $500 then request a payment.
They offer all sorts of ads, notification, icon, audio (wtf lol), banner, app wall, etc. I only use the notification one since that works best for my app type (live wallpaper).

Never used admob to much code to implement lol. Leadbolt is simple.

Well I am having a good time with inmobi so they are worth a shot but honestly, I never really liked Admob
I use admob and my CPC is 0.55 I make a average $8 - $20 a day.

I think that you are missing something Admob is not that complicated, you can set it by importing sdk and adding a banner in XML, that's all. but if you want to optimize it as i do, you set a listener, so when there is no Admob ads (0.01% of the cases) you serve other ads. I Used Leadbolt but i removed it as some antivirus apps detect it as a malware (Comodo i think) and they don't pay well (some clicks get no payment at all).
I recommend you using AdMob with a listener (or mediation in your acount), so when it fails you can show other ad networks (I recommend Millennial Media and InMobi) :good:

Good question
In my optinion, it's better to use mediation offered by AdMob (if ad networks are supported) as it will avoid you adding SDK so make your apk smaller, and you can change params without updating your app. But it needs some work to set it in your acount, I don't use it yet as i handeled that myself with the best combination for me (AdMob -> MMedia -> InMobi) and don't have more time to spend on ad optimisation. I still recommend you using a listener for AdMob ads for failed requests to show another ad netework for more security

try to use paypal payment.. and don't withdraw your paypal for a year.. how about that?
alternative to Admob
I am good with adsota and yeah, I have never liked Admob.
If you want swift, smooth payment with decent eCPM, you can use Adsota. (googe "ads.appota")

AdMob Interstitial Ads Delay

Hey guys, im having an issue with admob interstitial ad.
When I exit the ad it takes 1-2 seconds to go back to the app. Usually in other apps or games, it goes straight to the app upon pressing X or pressing Back.
Any reason why there is a delay and any fix to it?

Check your onAdClosed method in the class implementing AdListener. Are you doing something CPU intensive there? If you post a bit more code, we might be able to help.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.
At the start of the battle the full screen ad is loaded but not shown. Once the player dies, the full screen ad pops up fast which is good but takes 1-2 seconds to get back to the app once its closed.

The code you posted only shows how you are loading the Ad and showing it. Are you doing anything when closing it? May be you are switching scene right after the Ad is closed, and its taking time to load the objects in memory.
I will cede ground to someone more experienced in Unity 3d though. I have just begun getting my feet wet in it.

I am not doing anything to close it. Seems like AdMob does that on its own.
Not sure if Unity has a function for onAdClosed().
I am also using prime31 plugin. They were no help, and told me it's AdMob that I have to contact.

Hey I also use prime31 plugin for admob but I have no issues like this. try to update your prime31 plugin. It is certainly not a problem from prime31 or admob. if you can post your code here I can help.
don't depend on Admob
I got the same problem too but everything is normal 2 days afterwards (strange though). But the incident made me wonder: "should I always depend on Admob?".
So I decide to combine several Ad networks. It works. And I realize something about Admob:
Pros: It is reliable and has huge users database. Admob is backed by Google - a prestigious corporation who tracks every steps of anyone who use its service.
Cons:
- Its eCPM is low (I don't know exactly why but everytime I try another Ad network, they outperform Admob in terms of eCPM. I guess that Admob know it has advantages over competitors when it comes to reputation and users database, so It charge advertisers and publishers more)
- Its ban users more frequently. (Some of my friends' accounts got banned because Google thinks they was cheating, while infact he didn't. It was very difficult for him to reach Google support to recover his accounts).
after combining Admob and with Airpush, Leadbolt, StartApp, ChartBoost, I end up with Adsota - a lesser known ad network. Adsota is an has much higher eCPM, 100% fill-rate, variousa ads format, and swift payment. You can find it by googling "ads.appota".

Yes its an ad network, it has tons of options for ingame advertising

1.) What type of users do you have (responsive, engaged, etc)
2.) Where are your users based (location)
3.) What type of units can you run (banner, fullscreen, video, incentive, app walls, etc.)
4.) What app stores are you in?

There seem to be a lot of representatives present on this forum from AirPush and other companies but I don't see much mention of AppBrain. Our SDK is used by 40,000+ Android apps and has a number of flexible monetization options. If you've never tried it before it may be worth checking out!

You're right-- there are seemingly millions of networks out there, and it's hard to differentiate who does what or gave give the best yield.

It's used more on the UA front with data on average CPIs + Install rates by genre/platform/country, but should give you a good sense of their eCPMs to see which others you can add into your monetization strategy.

Just like you, I don't prefer Admob. Now I am using Adsota.
- Its CPM is good
- 100% ads fill-rate (quiet sure about this because my friends use this too)

Chartboost - is a good ad network?

I need to choose some good network to monetize my app, and i want to try Chartboost. Do you have any experience with it? Does it pays well, on time and without hassle? And of course what eCPM do you have with it... Waiting for yours recomendation.
Last time i used ADmob, but soon i was banned there and wanna find alternative...

Did Admob give you a reason why you were banned ? Most ad networks (I work for one) have similar content guidelines and policies. There is a chance that if Admob banned you for some content violation, other ad networks also might do so.
Chartboost quite good for Interstitial, always pay on time. Ecpm is very high at the beginning but it will down later.
Chartboost always my first choice for ads networks, reasons:
- easy to integrate, they have complete plugins for all platform, we don't need third party plugins
- I like the dashboard, many information we can drill down
- from eCPM perspective...sometime good ($10)...sometime bad ($0:crying....mostly average ($0.8 - $1.5), but i think this happen to all ads networks, sometime they got big client with big budget and the other day they got client with tight budget, that's life...:angel:
I would reccommend Chartboost, super easy to implement also

I try to make 10-15 impressions and all time i see only "Game of War". Then i just reboot my game, and see, what do you think? "Game of War" of course 10 times in a row. Then i wait a hour. And try one more: i seen an 25 impressions with game "Solitaire". It's a little bit strange, coz yestarday it deliver every new impression with new game ads. Today it always the same. Did somebody have a problem like this?
Maybe i will create a thread in this section, to generate more useful answers.

Hey, I think I have come acrossed the same questions before. my publisher manager said that, that is because there is only on ads in your country, so the ad will be only show one game.

However, there are many other options out there that may be better for your geos/genre, a list of which you can find here: Thalamus.co
