3D Mark result - Galaxy Note 10.1 General

What is your 3D Mark result?
You can download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.futuremark.dmandroid.application
I'm a little surprised I get only 2727 while Tegra3 devices get almost 4400 and even one Tegra2 device was higher (overclocked maybe? or mistake... Galaxy Tab 10.1).
Ice Storm Extreme: 2060 (here only new generation devices are higher, so it's quite a good result)
Ice Storm normal: 2727

AW: 3D Mark result
ICE STORM : 2794
ICE STORM EXTREME : 2092

Thanks. So it looks like the Tegra3 has quite a powerful GPU.

Or 3DMark Mobile is more optimized for Tegra and Qualcomm. You don't know.

According to reviews........ The app seems to not be working correctly or causing overheating for many users.
I'm a little leary to install the app because of overheating claims.
Has anyone experienced overheating?
Thanks
.

No overheating but same s****y scores....but its just a score. Will try to force gpu rendering and retry.

Don't worry about overheating- the kernel has some excellent thermal-management code in it that first downclocks you to 800MHz (which will kill your benchmark result ), then if that doesn't cool you down, shuts down the Note.

Galaxy Note 10.1 3G 4.2.2 Baked ROM (1.6 GHz)
Ice Storm: 3342
Graphic: 2791
Physics: 10835

Something is off about the app, my HTC Evo3D with a dual core Qualcomm S3 processor and adreno 220 gets 3500 in the non extreme test and around 2800 in the extreme version
sent from my "Ur IPhone will never do this" Phone

I got a score of 3383 OCd to 1.7ghz

Ice Storm normal: 2751

Wow these scores are horrible, my s3 hit 6046 on ice storm. I'm gonna have to throw this on ye old note 10.1 and see what happens.

Does your s3 run a exynos cpu ? Heard that at-t ones come with snapdragon. ...
Basically mali vs adreno

AT&T US are Snapdragon with 2Gb of RAM. International are Exynos with 1GB.

Even if the scores are low, I don't really care. I know I own a great tablet and it serves all my needs effectively. Top of the line is top of the line, benchmark results notwithstanding.

OIC. I have a vzw s3, so adreno ftw.

Same low score here. Can't be right

lol, my HTC One S (snapdragon S4 dual, 1 gig ram) gets scores which are more than double what my Note 10.1 gets. WTF?

Erm, unless y'all are running phones with 1280x800 resolution, there's no point in comparing the scores of those with that of the Note.

I'm really disapointing about the results with that benchmark are. It's maybe because Exynos 4412 is not as powerfull as we thought

I always did.... sorry it was too easy Anyhow, I tried nenamark a while back and the scores were pretty impressive.
It's kinda cool to know that last year's beast is still a GPU beast today too.
Original Galaxy S vs the G2X is hardly a blowout in favor of the LG phone.

Closed, we have multiple threads for initial reviews, and other general SGS3 chat, we dont need another thread just for benchmarks (PS Quadrant was useless for comparison even with dual core devices like the SGS2, its even more worthless when it comes to quad core devices).

So much for "Iphone 5 will put S3 to shame" ...

First Geekbench results of Apples new Wonder-Phone:
http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1030202
And btw. ist no where near a A15 inside the Iphone 5, it's ARM v7.
Galaxy S3 does 1600 in Geekbench Stock, too. No overclocking, no nothing.

common stop creating threads with iphone 5. It is s3 forum and it was already discussed about iphone5 vs s3...

Seems the iPhone 5 is only running at 1.02Ghz.
The iphone 5 dual core is faster than our quadcore. Search for new benchmarks in google -.-

If it's not fake then good work for the benchmark until Jellybean for S3 arrives
http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1026099
Still S3 outperforms Iphone5 :good:
And Iphone 5 will only use that for the gaming applications because their homescreen is so basic (No widgets and true multitasking), so to summarize it's still a useless upgrade.. I'd rather buy a Ps vita/nintendo DS for gaming if the main focus of apple products is to improve the hardware for gaming.

4 Cores at 1.4Ghz should win out over 2 Cores at 1Ghz. But by a lot more than that.

The only thing that pulls the iPhone 5 benchmark scores higher is memory bandwidth.... The s3's cpu scores substantially higher.

If it's only an ARM v7 then it can't outperform ours because ours are ARM v9's (international s3's dunno about American etc)

the title says it all. I don't really know to much about processors and the likes and just want to know is the 7 more powerful then the 4
Nope. For both cpu and gpu. not even close.
Tegra 3 is pure marketing.

Still, nowadays price is a huge factor. So to the £159 you're getting a bargain. Tegra optimised games, although capable on other devices, are a plus to the N7 but as suggested, pure marketing. Like nVidias PhysX.

4 wins hands down.
Like the guy above said tegra is all marketing, its actually one of the most disappointing soc's of its generation.
The snapdragon s4 with adreno 320 are top notch.

Speechless after Reading Snapdragon 800 / 600

Speechless after Reading Snapdragon 800 / 600,
Samsung probably won't implement this on their next Flagship; but wouldn't the Snapdragon 800/600 outperform the Exynos 5 processors? This is crazy, but mobile technology is making long strides.
Maybe but no one will be able to touch the unique and innovative software and tw ux

Well, CNET says the 800 would be coming to mobile devices (mobile phones as well) in Q2 of this year.
Im loving the News From The Guys Who Make Snapdragon Processors, they clocked some of the newer ones at 2,3 Ghz (Possibly NOT Overclocked ^__^)
