[Q] Galaxy Y boot problem - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Hello,
At first my phone wouldnt boot up and made restarts so i tried installing roms with odin and now it wont even show samsung boot logo anymore.
Only volume down + home + power buttons work ... i dont know the meanings of bricking and rooting so i need a step by step tutorial for newbies.
I have searched the google and i havent found anything useful so i thought if i cant find any help here i have to take my phone to repair service but i think it would cost more than phone is worth

Flash a stock rom...! Search on youtube on how to flash a stock rom.
Rom: Hyperion 8
Kernel: Savie's kernel
Theme: My own modification

odin fails the process

read here bro it helps solve your problem...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800

This may work if odin doesn't
Take yours sd card out your phone and put it in your pc (you will need a micro sd adapter and a pc with sd card slot or a usb sd card reader)
Download any custom rom from developers section - let's say evo-x3
Download hells fusion #50 kernel from dev section
Place both zips on sd card either via the card reader or another method if you can
Put sd card back in phone
Boot in Cwm (you will need a temporary Cwm if you don't have one)
Do a full data wipe reset (wipe data system and cache)
Mount everything (data system & cache)
Install zip from sd & choose hells fusion #50
Choose option 1 install stock rom
Restart back into recovery
Install zip & flash temporary cwm
In Cwm mount system
Install zip & select hells fusion
Choose option 2 install hells fusion
Restart back into Cwm (you will have permanent Cwm now)
Mount system
Install zip from sd & select evo-x3
Restart
With some luck everything should boot after a while (evo-x3 has no boot animation so wait at least 6mins on first boot)

Cwm will work if you have a temporary cwm
If you can get into stock recovery mode you can get cwm
Or if you have a kernel with a permanent Cwm you can go straight into it
Push volume up and home button - hold these buttons & push & hold power button
Phone will start in recovery mode either stock recovery or cwm depending on kernel
If it doesn't then it's a hard brick & you will need to search on how to resolve hard brick

First of all try not to move the cable while flashing....
Second if odin fails consistently it is possible either odin or the packages have gone currupt ...download a new one
flash pda first if work good flash all three pda modem and csc....
try and report....

Where should i found it when i mount from clockwork recovery?
I figured out the sd issue moving big files from a folder to other while its mounted, no move taked time to complete,

On android to mount a sd is like in Linux? Its mounted in a system folder?
Need help.
I tryed to install the CM Mod, first time, got the lastest file from 31/08, rename it on update.zip
Got root on my phone, using odin and replacing kernel.
Now it dont go after the first screen (Samsumg Galaxy S ii GT-I9100 yellow triangle with black ! on center.
I tried lots, i mean, lots of re instaling the .zip but it still dont pass that screen.
Right now only things i can do in phone is power+volume up+home button and go to ClockworkMod Recovery v4.0.0.2
or power+volume down+home and go to download screen.
Trying to install several times de CM Mod i got lots of lines (like 20+) them Error (code 7) install aborted.
Right now I need anything that make my phone back, any rom, custom android any version.
I explored the backup and restore menu and i got a restore point, it give me the restore complete, but still locked on that screen.
Please .zip file that ill make my cell back.
I checked de checksum and the CM file is ok
What kernel did you flash? You need to be sure the kernel you flash is for gs2.

You probably flashed a bad rom. Simply wipe data from clockworkmod and install a zipped rom from there.

YES ,is called "external_sd" .As for your problem i suggest downloading a stock ROM+original kernell on your PC (KH3 as an example) .Enter downloading mode and flash it thru Odin than use an insecure kernell to root and have CWM back on your device to be able to flash the next ROM from your internal sd (internal memory) and continue experiencing
By the way ,the flashable zipes must be on internal memory for CWM to see tham

Before wiping data in CWM
Go to mounts and storage>check if "unmount system" is there. If its "mount system" select it and press the centre key which wil turn it to "unmount system".
Also wipe data and cache in stock recovery before going to CWM recovery.

I have the same problem and I followed the instructions on page 1 of the Jellyblast ROM exactly, also this one. After that I tried different ways with different CWM, choose an older version of the rom, reinstall Kuro Kernel after flashing Rom, delete second partition (ext2)... But I always get the bootloop.
Edit:
Solved: I made a stupid mistake. I chose on the download page the Update 5, because i thought it's the full ROM with update 5. Because of the green colour of the ROM download link, i didn't recognize that it's a link.

Problems with recovery mode

i have a samsung galaxy y (gt 5360), and
its updated to android 4.1(not officially-using jellyblast 3.0.3 rom)
Then i rooted it and i was
messing around with the
awesome power of root. now im trying to get a
different rom, and when i go to
recovery mode, i cant flash zip files, it always gives an error message"can't mount /sdcard (No such file or directory)".
But when i reboot the system i can mount sd card and can browse all files in sd card.
Does anyone know how to fix
this recovery problem??? PLEASE HELP?!!

If mounting your SD card or changing your SD card won't work, Try my Steps on flashing a new firmware:
1. Firstly, download/choose a firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
2. Once your download has finished, download Odin 1.85 from here: forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=581913
3. If you have installed Samsung Kies, stop it, also for adb sessions
4. Open Odin 1.85
5. Boot to download mode, make sure its shut down (Vol. Down + Home Button + Power Button)
6. When in download mode already, press Vol. Up button
7. Now, connect your phone to your pc, when Odin detects your phone you can now press the start button
8. Wait for installation to complete, it will reboot automatically,
9. When successfully booted, your done!
10. Enjoy! your newly fixed phone...
Above instructions are not fully detailed(COMPLETE), but it will work

And OP, there is no actual need of odin. Mount and try.
I feel your CWM is the problem. Flash stock kernel from Doky's thread and try again!

Try flashing stock kernel.
It should work.
Or else try to use a different SD.
First go with a different SD. Still if it doesn't mount, flash stock kernel and try. DONT TRY TO FLASH ANY OTHER KERNEL.
AND HAVE A BACKUP!
