DISCLAIMER:

Be sure to follow the steps correctly.
REQUIREMENTS:
Windows
Samsung KIES and all drivers installed.
ODIN for flashing the firmware.
HOW TO ROOT:
Download the Pre-Rooted firmware that matches the firmware your using.
Extract the RAR file, you will end up with a folder with two files in it.
SYSTEM_YOURFIRMWARE.tar.md5 and CSC_YOURFIRMWARE.tar.md5
Close any KIES application that might be open.
Open ODIN.
Select the file SYSTEM_YOURFIRMWARE.tar.md5 as PDA.
Select the file CSC_YOURFIRMWARE.tar.md5 as CSC.
Verify that ONLY "AUTO REBOOT" and "F. RESET TIME" are selected.
Do NOT select "Repartition"
Boot your phone in "DOWNLOAD MODE" by holding POWER + HOME + VOL. DOWN
Plug your phone usb cable to your computer.
If you've never connected your phone to your computer in download mode you'll have to wait for it to install the drivers
Click the "START" button and wait for it to finish.
Do NOT unplug the usb cable before ODIN finishes its job.
If you did everything correctly, after a few minutes, ODIN will show the message "PASS"
Then you can remove the usb cable.
Your device will reboot in Recovery Mode and will finish the installation.
When it finishes, it will reboot and start the Android System.
Now, go to the "Google Play Store" and Install the app "Super SU" (or "Superuser").
That's it! :good:
Now, enjoy your rooted Galaxy S Advance!
You can go back to Download Mode to check that your Binary Counter hasn't increased.

If the drivers are installed you wont need kies.
I've added it to the requirement list as the drivers are installed when you install kies.

yep. but I need some time to download, root and then upload it,
and there's already a few firmwares on the list.
this doesnt include twrp recovery.
you can flash TWRP after rooting you phone by using the DD method.
your counter wont increase unless you flash a kernel via odin ( my TWRP Kernel, CoCore Kernel or any other kernel )

You'll need a machine running linux.
Then all you need to do is convert the system ext4 sparse image using ext4utils
mount it, copy the su binary to it and repack it using tar, but remember to verify everything using md5sum

adb shell is the command line tool that you use to execute commands on any android device. ( it runs on windows/mac/linux )
but yes.. you can do that with terminal emulator app

First I want to say this tools is created by LuffarJoh and if you want thank him you can bought the donation version of his apps that’s work for SGS2 SpoofFw Donate and Check Fus Pro.
I have only written this guide.
There are two way to flash the latest rom from Samsung. The first is to download the latest firmware from Samsungs server to your computer and then flash it by Odin. The second way that’s I explain in second post is to spoof your phone to make it think it has another firmware and then flash it by Kies.
Both of these methods are created by LuffarJoh.
Flash using Odin
Download and unzipped the necessary tools you need.
Check fus downloader (If it ask you to copy “FusCipherUtil.dll” type yes)
Odin
Now you need to identify which firmware you will flash.
First you can check is there any present for your region. Choose the correct device from the list (I9100) and then you can chose from the list under which firmware you want or you can just check the third post to fill in manually.
When you’re ready you can press “Check Firmware” and if all information is correct your result will show up. Download now this firmware to your computer (it will come in a zip-file).
Now you can just start flashing your firmware with Odin. If you don’t know how you can continue to 5.

Shut down Kies completely on on your computer (Maybe you need to end process in taskmanager)
Start Odin
Click on the PDA button and browse to the .tar file that you have downloaded
Enter Device into Download Mode
Shut down the device and then simultaneously press the Volume Down button and Home Button, and then pressing down on Power ON/OFF button. Accept the warning message.
Connect the Device to PC via USB cable.
Make sure ID:COM box highlighted yellow.
Click Start to flash. Then wait for "Pass" to be appear on the screen.
The device will now reboot automatic and you can disconnect the cable.
This will not wipe your device.
This will not counts in the recovery-counter.
This will un-root your phone.
To change product-code you have to do a hard reset.
If you would to make a Full Reset dial: *2767*3855#

Flash using Kies
This method will change some system files on your phone and therefor need root.

Download and install SpoofFw on your phone
Press “Backup” and the program will back up your /efs
Press meny (left touch button) and choose “present” or you can fill the fields manually (check third post).
Press the first “Ok” and reboot your phone
Start SpoofFw again and do step 3 again
Now press the second “Ok” and exit the app
Connect your phone to Kies and Upgrade

Update started rolling out today in some European countries -- like Poland, Hungary, Sweden -- and Korea. This is the Poland firmware which is XEO so its European.
Does this build include every european language?

Hi,
Not quite sure what you mean.....but if what you are trying is to flash a stock rom that is all you need ( al files are in there)

Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes

U can upgrade direct new latest but remember u can't downgrade once u upgrade & for performance clear data & catch from recovery.

I found the other threads with stock firmwares somewhat lacking and/or outdated. I decided to make an updated thread with the latest stock firmwares for the different variants of the S6. All the downloads in this post are from samsung-firmware.org. I have downloaded, repacked and uploaded them, so that you can enjoy fast downloading without having to pay for it. If you can't find the firmware for your phone please let me know, and I'll upload it for you.

How do I know what version of the S6 I have?
On the back side of the phone, just under the CE-marking it should be written.
If for some reason it's not, you can boot your phone into download mode (volume down, home, power), and it will be written on the second line of the screen.
What region is mine?
In most cases it's pretty forward. Look for your region and carrier. If it's still unclear, you can always ask here in this thread.
What firmware should I download?
Obviously one that fits your S6-version and region. Apart from that it's mostly up to you. The latest firmwares are obviously the most updated. Otherwise you will get later firmwares OTA if installing a previous one.
How do I install these?
Download ODIN 3.10.6 and USB drivers if you haven't already. Unpack ODIN and install the drivers.
Unpack the firmware-archive using 7zip (or equivalent).
Boot your phone into download mode (volume down, home, power).
Start ODIN, and plug in your phone. The field in ODIN under ID:COM should turn light-blue if your phone is recognized.
In ODIN, press AP and select the .tar.md5-file you unpacked.
Wait for it to verify the file, and press start.
The phone will reboot into stock firmware. You may have to boot into recovery (volume up, home, power) and wipe data.
If ODIN fails during the install try another USB-cable. I've had problems with my official one hopping out during the install and therefore failing.
Will installing this completely return my phone to stock?
Assuming you use the correct firmware: Yes, but it will not reset a tripped KNOX.
Will this trip KNOX?
It should not, but use at your own risk.
Please let me know if you find any errors.

Great. Thanks.
I added the Android 6.0.1 MM update for Vodafone in the UK. The first downloadable MM for the G920F. I've also added Google Drive and torrent links for some of the downloads. Use the torrent-links for the fastest speed. Such links for the rest will follow.

It's because your hidden partition is too small. You'll have to expand it by flashing another PIT-file. It should be explained here:
