First I want to say this tools is created by LuffarJoh and if you want thank him you can bought the donation version of his apps that’s work for SGS2 SpoofFw Donate and Check Fus Pro.
I have only written this guide.
There are two way to flash the latest rom from Samsung. The first is to download the latest firmware from Samsungs server to your computer and then flash it by Odin. The second way that’s I explain in second post is to spoof your phone to make it think it has another firmware and then flash it by Kies.
Both of these methods are created by LuffarJoh.
Flash using Odin
Download and unzipped the necessary tools you need.
Check fus downloader (If it ask you to copy “FusCipherUtil.dll” type yes)
Odin
Now you need to identify which firmware you will flash.
First you can check is there any present for your region. Choose the correct device from the list (I9100) and then you can chose from the list under which firmware you want or you can just check the third post to fill in manually.
When you’re ready you can press “Check Firmware” and if all information is correct your result will show up. Download now this firmware to your computer (it will come in a zip-file).
Now you can just start flashing your firmware with Odin. If you don’t know how you can continue to 5.

Shut down Kies completely on on your computer (Maybe you need to end process in taskmanager)
Start Odin
Click on the PDA button and browse to the .tar file that you have downloaded
Enter Device into Download Mode
Shut down the device and then simultaneously press the Volume Down button and Home Button, and then pressing down on Power ON/OFF button. Accept the warning message.
Connect the Device to PC via USB cable.
Make sure ID:COM box highlighted yellow.
Click Start to flash. Then wait for "Pass" to be appear on the screen.
The device will now reboot automatic and you can disconnect the cable.
This will not wipe your device.
This will not counts in the recovery-counter.
This will un-root your phone.
To change product-code you have to do a hard reset.

Flash using Kies
This method will change some system files on your phone and therefor need root.
You have the full responsibility for your phone.

Download and install SpoofFw on your phone
Press “Backup” and the program will back up your /efs
Press meny (left touch button) and choose “present” or you can fill the fields manually (check third post).
Press the first “Ok” and reboot your phone
Start SpoofFw again and do step 3 again
Now press the second “Ok” and exit the app
Connect your phone to Kies and Upgrade

To download the new KE4 use the input from Hong Kong and It will be downloaded directly from Samsungs server (same as Kies).

Yes, if you flash a stock rom it will always unroot.

Can you dial *#1234# and compare it with the one you had choose.

Because people don't necessarily flash their countries stock roms... I know in Oz, being at the bottom of the world , we don't get updates until last. It's good to be able to have choices...

Same bug i had in the Polish version of Jellybean:crying:
When you put Google Play app together with other apps in a folder on standard touchwiz ui. Open the folder and start Google play. Then you download an app in the play store, install it and when you return to the homescreen ,the folder where google play is placed will not close and i get a force close of touchwiz.
When you install Nova Launcher the force close is not there.
I want a fully working and bugfree android OS on my S3. Who don't!!!
For the rest......silky smooth

download the file from sammobile, version PHE (for unbranded GT-I9300)
i use odin 1.85 to flash stockroms or else odin 3.04

Shees, all those file share websites with a snail speed don't allow downloading any files over 1G without signing up for a paid plan.
Why not just use bittorrent? There ought to be enough users for that to work. Or dropbox. But perhaps the websites don't earn any kickback from that.
Tried the HK version in the OP, but it fails crc test during install ....

Im running mj7 now. Updated to mk2 a few days ago then downgraded and its fine. Apparently you cant go to a firmware version with a lower bootloader, but i have yet to try.

yes i have just downgraded now from btu mk2(serious battery issues) to my original 02 branded MJ7
Yup you can downgrade from MK to MJ7 as MJ7 is deemed a safe fall back option in Samsung's eyes. Done it myself a couple of times.

U can upgrade direct new latest but remember u can't downgrade once u upgrade & for performance clear data & catch from recovery.
