The total price for Nexus 4 shipped to Santa Barbara - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
Gonna buy this phone via a friend of mine in Santa Barbara. I wonder if someone could give me a total price plan with shipping and tax included so i know how much i need to give him.
Thanks

Google search the California sales tax, add whatever that amount would be to the total of the device you want, and then at $10 for the estimated max shipping cost. Done.

$350 + %7.75 + ~$10 shipping.

If the shipping cost is the same as when I ordered my GN, here's the breakdown:
Phone - $349.00
Shipping - $10.50
Tax - $27.05 ( 7.75% )
Total - $386.55

Okey, thanks for the help was planning to buy the 8gb since i dont realy need the storage, but the price for the phone pluss shipping and 7,75 tax. Thanks

Bargain price for a n1 or what?

hey guys,
I'm from canada, where the nexus 1 has not been released, so I found a person who's selling a 1 week old nexus one for 625 dollars. Is it a bargain or what?
Anything less that the £420 i paid in total for mine i'd consider a bargain
£420 = $636 USD
$655 Canadian

Is that cheaper shipped than you can get it retail? Not sure what sort of duty you pay having it shipped into Canada.
lol, it got sold missed it
Order it yourself using this:
http://www.demailbox.com/
It'll cost you their fee (probably about $10), whatever shipping method you choose to canada and canadian tax.
You won't pay US tax, nor US shipping since its free. So it'll be $528 + $10 + shipping + tax
Which is only $10 more than it would cost you if google did ship to canada!
There are loads of other 'virtual US' mailbox services you can use. Just be carefull to choose one in a state that doesnt have US sales tax, or you'll pay US tax AND canadian tax.

Where to buy the Venue Pro / anyone want to help me...?

Hi all,
What with the unlock codes now working I can finally take the plunge and buy the Venue Pro. The problem is I'm in the UK and we still can't get the phone over here - Expansys are an absolute waste of time, they don't have stock and just keep listing fictional date after fictional date on their website.
Ideally I'd order directly from Dell but they don't ship to the UK. Anyone know any other sites in the US that stock the phone and will ship? Failing this, anyone fancy doing me a massive favour and ordering from Dell for me? Obviously I'd PayPal the money up front and whatever else you thought appropriate for handling, yadda yadda
After waiting this long I'm just desperate to finally get my hands on it and move on from my old HTC!
Did you try here:
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_trkpar...&_sticky=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_sop=16&_sc=1
I did - but the thing is most of those are $670+, whereas the Dell Venue Pro is $499 on the Dell website (or $449 for the 8GB). $170 is a heck of a mark-up, even if it includes an unlock code (which seems to be $55-60)...
There are occasionally bargains on ebay with cheaper VP's but I am probably going to go the route of using com gateway to get them to buy one for me and get it shipped here and pay using paypal. I added it up roughly.
Phone $450
Fee $45
US Shipping Free
Total $495
------
International Shipping $50
Total $545 (£335.23)
-----
Unlock £45
----
Tax £79.50
(VAT at 20% and Import Duty at 6.5%
GRAND TOTAL = £414.5 + £41 unlock = £455.5
These are approximate prices. The exchange rate fluctuates and tax depends on
the declared amount on the phone. It may be much less. But state tax may also be included. Unlock fee may be more as well.
Having said that a total of £450 which I imagine is the upper maximum is less than
the UK price currently and without the wait.

I am not associated with bigcrumbs but thought online shoppers might benefit from this place.
Edit:
Just found out bigcrumbs also have 2.8 cashback from Adorama.com which also has the nexus 7 for pre-order.

Just remember that if you have a Staples in your state you have to pay taxes.
This deal would still cost me about 270$
yea tax is the big killer.. but at least free shipping. too bad I missed out on the J&R deal someone else posted.
Staples' expected delivery date is interesting. Not sure if this implies delivery for all pre-orders or this is for Staples only.
Cool find, i would be buying a Nexus 7 since i no longer want android phones
We're so spoiled in Oregon, no Sales Tax and it's against the law for us to pump our own gas, we have to sit and let the attendants do it for us.
Thanks for the finds!
You really could have mentioned that it takes them 24 hours to generate the coupon code and it's not an instant ordeal.

Nexus 7 for a flat $249.00 no taxes in my case.

Using my last yearly associate computer related hardware discount on this and just got a $27 gift card from a warranty on a hard drive that's still good...

Anyone pre-ordered Nexus 7 from Staples.com ?
I am seeing this in my order status.
We're sorry, but problems with your order may prevent us from delivering it on time.
That is probably because Google told everyone to wait until they said so

this last minute hold is messing up those vendor's check out process. The word is most places will start taking new per-order and shipping again next week.
Updated some free item coupon on 1st page you can use on your office depot order.
walmart is starting the pre-order as well with less than $1 shipping. see 1st post for details.
For those asking if you still get the $25 google wallet credit the answer is YES :good:
Staples is now taking orders on the website with 2 day delivery, you can also locate stores that have it in stock, but call the store first as the store I tried today said they weren't allowed to sell until next week (probably Monday) even though they have them in stock.
If "you" work for Walmart you can get 10% off, and you can pay when pickup at Walmart now s mabey preorder and pay when pickup at site to store

[Q] shipping cost?

How does google do their shipping options? Will it be $399 flat shipped or will they charge extra for shipping? Anyone know? I'm trying to budget.
Shipping is usually extra, that was the case with the Nexus 7 at least.
Edit; In the UK I should add. Could be different elsewhere.

I'm in the US. Anyone how how it was with the nexus 7 in the us?
They charged tax and shipping on the N7. Total was $30 on a $250 tablet.
Outside US the shipping charges will be imposed.

It's supposed to be good for another like 30 days..
Wait til Amazon gets more in stock. Right now only third party Amazon sellers have them and they mark them up. I bought mine direct from Amazon for the $229.

By importing do you mean to Egypt? I think you'll really have problems getting one shipped to Egypt for $229 total, and tax would generally be up your local authority.

In america, when you guys are quoting prices, such as $229 for the 16gb, is that before tax? If so, how much does it actually cost after tax?

Some well managed states like Oregon have no sales tax. $229 would be your final price.

That's still cheaper than here, 16gb is £200, about $300
32gb £240, about $370
I think anyway, it sounds too steep to be true. . .

The 229 for the 16gb is before tax and shipping in many states, sales tax percentage differs from state to state and county to county, where some states don't charge a sales tax, and others do. I live in Chicago which is Cook County, and we have one of the highest sales tax percentages in all the US @ 10.25% so if I were to buy a 16gb from a local brick and mortar store it would cost me with tax, about 252.47...all depends where you are in the states....that said I ordered mine off Amazon the wkend right before the launch date, and mine came to be 238, as amazon doesnt charge tax yet in IL (I chose saturday delivery for 9 bux more with prime).

its standard to quote the prices before taxes. the reason is that some states have no tax (as mentioned) and the others all vary wildly as to what the tax rate is. quoting a price with tax would therefore be inaccurate for most...
