AT&T definitely stepping it up with brand recognition, similar to how starbucks removed their name from the logo.

Looks about right. I wonder if Verizon's variant will still have the atrocious branding on the home button.

just get a new back cover? :good:

That's a nice, simply branding that doesn't take away from the device. Makes me want to abandon Verizon even more. We'll see what their official pics look like... (Hopefully the ones that were released are not official...)

Looking on the date on the phone, does it gives us a clue that it will be released on Thursday, November 15?

What news I've read did say it would be released mid-November, so the clues match up.

If the AT&T logo is no more than that I can live with that.
I just can't decide if I want the white or the grey.

I used a penny to rub off the branding on my Atrix. As long as it's just silk screened print on the cover it should work here as well.

Now, if the AT&T Note II's hardware is identical to the international version (with the exception of the LTE radios), then I'm pretty well sold! Flash the international firmware, and keep the AT&T specific modem.bin, and you've got the best of both worlds!

This is perfect. Nice and simple. Now all they have to do is release the damn thing.

When is this coming out for ATT? Late October or late November?

But no LTE on the international version, correct? Useless to me without LTE. When I get throttled on LTE I get throttled down to HSPA and that's manageable. Without it? It's throttled back to EDGE.

No mention was made of a Hero with 3G that'd work on Rogers or AT&T back at its announcement a few days ago, but HTC has been getting awfully good at making phones that work properly around these parts -- so we can't say we're entirely surprised to see a Hero approved for WCDMA on Bands II and V gracing the FCC today. For the record, Bands II and V are 1900 and 850MHz, respectively, which is exactly the combo AT&T subscribers would need to flip the switch on high-speed data. We're not sure if this negates rumors that the Hero would be coming to Sprint, but if we can just get this version released and in our hands, you know... maybe our minds would be operating with a little more clarity.

there was a rumor originally that the Hero would be coming for Sprint. just because a ATT 3G band model passed the FCC, it doesn't mean that the phone isn't still going to come out for Sprint. it's still early, be patient!

According to pdadb.com it will be the G1 Touch (HTC Hero 100). Only difference between this version and the regular Hero is that they added the 1700 band to work here. Supposedly coming this month.

I want a Korean S3 with 2GB RAM and quadcore!!

Indulge me.
The Korean SGS3 comes with 2GB RAM and the quadcore Exynos 4412 chip:
http://phandroid.com/2012/06/08/sk-telecoms-galaxy-s-iii-merges-quad-core-cpu-and-2gb-ram/
South Korea uses 2100Mhz HSPA band - as does the UK where I live.

What's stopping me from (somehow) buying a Korean one and importing it for use here in the UK?
Also, any ideas how I would even go about buying something from Korea??

Willing to bet, the Korean version won't use a Micro-Sim that GSM carriers use, as they're network SK Telecom if i recall does not require the use of sim cards. Also chances are the Korean version will be locked to region specific carriers there.
Don't go for it. Their will be a lot of issues with it. Also very bad developer support, worse than American version.
There may be other hardware compatibility issues with your network.

Quite a lot of the new smartphones in Korea come with usim cards..
Don't ask me the finer details.
There are 3 major carriers in SK, two of them operate WCDMA networks.
I would not go for this phone. Like somebody else said, bad developer support.

You mean that ugly stock battery percentage that appears next to the battery icon and takes up additional space? If you have noticed, I do not have any app but actually a circles mod that can display battery percentage within the battery icon.
For the dev support I disagree, it seems they will get the same hardware as the int version only more ram and LTE support so int roms shouln'd be hard to port, am I wrong?

Speaking form experience the SIM card issue is no longer a problem, Korean phones now use SIM cards, all carriers here ( SK, KT, LG all use SIM cards)
All Android phones here as of today (SGS3 is still unknown) are sold carrier unlocked, I've used my Korean issue GalaxyS (m110s) in various countries with no issue (India/China/UK)
Problem with the Korean version is that' you'll lose FM functionality and gain a useless DMB (TV) chip instead, also it's dimensions are ever slightly larger, so getting nice cases might be slightly harder, or you'll have to order from Korea, not impossible though.
Phones can be bought off the shelf here, they're just more expensive than in Europe/US
I'm pretty sure the american version dev support will be just as good as the international.

Samsung SM-N910T is LTE CAT 4 ONLY? Who is ready for Note 4?

The international octa core version should perfectly work on T-Mobile? With LTE and HSPA+ perfectly?
Because if the international version of the N4 this time works perfectly on T-Mobile, then there is no reason to buy the T-Mobile version... International version is Octa Core, plus LTE CAT 6 / 300mbps... Instead of Quad Core LTE CAT 4 / 150mbps...
-> The outcome of this post, will determine what I will buy...
Can someone confirm, or let me know correct information? Thanks...
On the International model your missing Band 2 , 4 , 12 for the lte bands. The specs are all over the place, on Samsung site Att, and Verizon show as CAT 6, and Tmobile shows CAT 4. Even though their all the Snap Dragon version.

There's a factory UICC unlock that comes on your Sprint/Boost factory firmware (Settings/System Updates). So you can UICC unlock for use outside the United States. You can also purchase a GSM unlocked variant from BestBuy if you plan on strictly using it outside the US.

They have different radio bands enabled, that should be the extent of differences.
Unless you mean on the device, then I assume the phone will be labeled in software, and probably have the SKU on the case somewhere.

It has most of the same bands but not all. You'd not have as good coverage using the international version for Project Fi in the US.
Also the versions abroad that have these bands are likely considerably more expensive than the US version. As an example, in the EU the 6P starts at at over $200 more for the base model.

International you gain Asian bands mostly 1 (is Europe to), 9 & 19 are Japan. You loose 30(AT&T future), 12 (hopefully will work with T-Mobile at launch lol), and 13 (Verizon?).
I hope they fix it in the def community like they did the nexus 6, almost all bands on both devices.
