Hi guys! please tell me:

Where to make a pre-order of the Nexus Q or 7 tablet? what is the difference between the $199 and $299 variants? wow now I saw a worth-buying tablet after a while..
the different between the 199$ is 8GB Space and ?299$? 16GB Space and aviable at the play.store in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia
Avail for pre-order at https://play.google.com/store/devices?feature=single-wide-banner
make sure you read the specs carefully before you buy it.
Any info on whether this is supposed to replace or supplement Google TV devices? Hopefully it isn't locked down to just playing media through Play. My Sony Google TV blu-ray player coupled with GTVBox is an awesome media player, though the Sony hardware is a bit out-dated and slow. (not to mention ugly)

[Q] Seattle/ Bricks and Mortor

Right. I'm from Ireland so Play Store is a big nono. If I stick with the $249 plus US tax, it should cost me €230. The problem is most places around europe are listing it as €270, since we have much higher tax rates over here. My dad is currently in Seattle, (Bellevue, and/or redmond) and said that he could pick one up for me from a shop, as there wasn't enough time for an online order to a hotel. What places sell them? So far I know there's Game stop... and thats it? No Best buy and so on and so forth. I don't know most AMerican chain stores so don't know what websites to search.. thanks for your help!

Nexus 7 availability in Japanese retail outlets?

Hi,
I am off to Japan next week and even though all the news reports on 25th Sept say that it is available there and the retail stores that should be stocking it I cannot find any details on their websites.
Whilst I am there for a week I will not be able to order it through the Google Play store.
Anyone seen them in the shops and how much are they selling for?
Thanks
Russ

How come the n10 never hit retail stores in Canada?

I was happy and surprised when the n7 came to canada at the same time as the US, (well I think a week later) when usually we may get a product at a much later date, so I thought the same thing would happen with the nexus 10, but it never did. It's still not on sale in retail store here and I assume never will be. Yes, samsung made this and not asus, but other samsung products are sold here, so why not this?
I kind of get the impression that the n10 didn't hit that many retail stores in the US either, but I could be wrong.
Staples and Walmart as far as I know are the only two retail stores in the USA . And only the 32gb at 499
Got mine at Walmart yaaay no shipping lol
Samsclub also has it but that's owned by the same person as Walmart. I got mime from there

Ok so it seems it was a very limited release in the US and not at all in Canadian retail. Why was that?
It seems like they had a huge retail success with the N7 and the 10 inch was a very competitively priced tablet for the hardware you were getting and seemed poised to be another big success, so it seems weird to me to barely give it a push distributing it in such few retail markets.
Especially when considering the rest of samsung's line is available here in retail.
I think it's because Google started selling it directly from thheir play store you can order one from there. They have international shipping

Well, yeah I know you can buy it online, even in canada, and although online shopping is growing, retail is still a huge market.
And they had online shopping with the nexus 7 as well, but of course also decided on retail distribution. I'll be surprised when the nexus 7 successor is announced if it is online only.
I had a couple of friends who wanted to buy a n10 for christmas and asked me and I said yeah it's online only and they instead went with something else.
I still like to buy retail cause if there's any issues I can go right back to the store for a replacement. Say I had an issue with my n7, then I have to mail it back and be without it for a week or whatever if I bought a dud?
As I said you can buy samsung's other tablet products retail, and google's other offerings retail as well, except the n10.
Well I thought it was an exception and there was a reason why, but I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Buy Nexus player uk

Hi. I have been. Looking at purchasing one if these but can only find it for sale on the play store. Does anybody know where else in the UK this can be purchased from? I can see it's heavily discounted in USA bit apparently not here? Thanks
Got mine from Argos. It was reduced to £59. PC world have had it for this price too. You could always try EBay.
Hi. Was this recently? Neither have this available in their websites.
Got it about 3 months ago. Sorry if it's not available anymore. I've heard the fire stick or fire box are pretty good. Nexus player is good but not great.
