Registering Kindle - 7" Kindle Fire HD General

Anyone having a hard time registering the kindle? I keep entering my Amazon information correctly, but he keeps telling me there was an error while registering.

My guess would be the server is a bit overloaded I would try again in an hour or 2. Just keep trying every so often

Just call them up and escalate to level 2 kindle fire support.

Anybody with problems registering Kindle Fire HD, please call up Amazon. I had similar problems for a Kindle Fire HD I bought from Best Buy and Amazon resolved the issue within minutes.

Is it possible to Root without using the micro usb?

Title says it all.
Nope. You'll need to connect to your computer to do it.

I don't believe it's possible.
the answer is simply NO
Nope. Its ridiculous yet genius of Amazon to not include a USB cable.

With what is released right now, no it is not
Yea, sorry that is a no. Have a micro USB cable around from another device or phone? The process is fairly straightforward. What are your hesitations?

Yes, it works after reboot. But it may take place again, So do you know the root cause of this issue? thanks~
Possibly just your wifi card needing to be reset by you restarting it.

Kindle Keyboard Wi-Fi + 3G 3rd edition for 84.99 [with shipping]

I usually can find Kindle's without 3g for about 90, so a kindle under that price with 3g is pretty good in my opinion.
The deal expires in 9 hours from the time i posted this
(or whenever they run out i suppose)

Did you update recently? Make sure you wipe your cache/dalvik when doing so. This is the magic bullet for most issues.

Maybe, but only Google would know, and I doubt any of their employees would leak that information here on XDA...
Last years model did not see a price drop when the Nook or Kindle models were released..

Well...
Didn't that happened because nook and kindle sucked back then?

Yea but the Kindle and Nook aren't full tabs either. Don't they lack stuff like NFC, wireless charging, Bluetooth, and GPS?
Those other tabs are designed to make it very very hard to keep them on stock software. Each new device gets harder and harder to open up.
I'd easily take a N7 with a 600 then a Kindle with a 800.
I also don't see anything confirming any specs.
